Then there is another category of your siblings. No matter how much you deny, but your siblings or your elder brother and sisters are those friends of yours who stay on with you for your entire life. You have a different set of friendship with them as you find yourself fighting with them most of the times. However, in times of need, you shall see that they are first ones standing behind you, supporting you.

There is another category of friends called professional friends. You come across such friends only when you grow up and choose a profession for yourself. These friends are usually from the same organisation and prove to be helpful during your settling years. Some of them tend to stay on with you even when you change companies.

Friendship Examples from History:

History has always taught us a lot. Examples of true friendship are not far behind. We have some famous example from history which makes us realise the true value of friendship. The topmost of them are the Krishna and Sudama friendship. We all must have read or heard as to how after becoming a king when Krishna met Sudama, his childhood friend, he treated him with honour even though Sudama was a poor person. It teaches us the friendship need not be between equals. It has to be between likeminded people. Next example is of Karna and Duryodhana, again from the Mahabharat era.

Despite knowing the fact that the Pandavas were his brothers, Karna went on to fight alongside Duryodhan as he is his best friend and even laid down his life for him. What more example of true friendship can one find? Again from the same era, Krishna and Arjun are also referred to as the best of the friends. Bhagavad Gita is an example of how a true friend can guide you towards positivity in life and make you follow the path of Dharma. Similarly, there are numerous examples from history which teach us the values of true friendship and the need to nourish such for own good.

Whether you accept or deny it, a friend plays an important role in your life. In fact, it is very important to have a friend. However, at the same time, it is extremely important to choose the friends wisely as they are the ones who can build you or destroy you. Nonetheless, a friend’s company is something which one enjoys all through life and friends should be treated as the best treasure a man can have.

I also remember an incident when our class teacher asked him about his previous school and the place from where he came. He is a good speaker, and he gave an interesting answer to everyone in his introduction in class.

He is good at studies and also a good athlete. He loves running and singing too, and his handwriting is also very neat and clean. I feel happy to become his friend, and he also loves my company, and we spend most of our time together.

My Best Friend Essay 200 Words

I have had a lot of friends since childhood, but Raghav is one of the kindest and most trustworthy friends for me. I must say that Rohan has been my best friend since childhood. He is a very good person and a true friend because he has a good manner that he never lies to anyone, and hates people who lie to him. He is a kind boy and also a sincere student. We both live in the same building, and our apartments are also in front of each other.

My parents also met my friend in the school at the parents-teachers meeting, and they also like Raghav and his sincerity. We both have been in the same class from the 3rd standard until now. We are in the 10th standard now, and we both help each other in the preparation for Board exams, which will be held in the month of March.

He always invites me to his house to play video games with him. Every Sunday, we both enjoy playing video games with popcorn and juice together. Sometimes, our school teachers also wonder about our true friendship and the strong bond between us. He has a set of badminton rackets and a shuttle, and we also play together in the evening near our building. We both love each other’s company.

My Best Friend Essay 300 Words

Everyone has at least a single friend who is more than just a friend to them. Getting a friend is common, but getting a true friend is very rare and a bit special. It is like a big achievement for people to get a trustworthy and lifelong best friend. I also had a best friend in my life too since childhood. His name is Ganaraj, and his mother is Telugu. We are neighbors too and also classmates. We always sit together in school and also spend most of the time together.

He is a very talented person and always supports me in my studies. We both like mathematics, and also we love to solve maths numerical problems. I like to play games, and we both always play games together and participate in the sports that are held in school. Our favorite sport is Cricket, and we both are good all-rounders on our school cricket team. Our class teacher always suggests and supports us to play cricket even better and also helps in education to achieve success in life.

He is very valuable to me, and I always value his friendship as I value my parents. He is like my family, as a brother from another mother. Whenever I need his help and support, my best friend is there for me to hold me. We both live in the precious moment and create memories that will stay with me forever. Our friendship is a kind of beautiful relationship, and I hope any kind will never break these mistakes. Every Sunday, we go together to a playground near our locality, and we spend most of our time there. My parents also like Ganaraj to be my friend. Everyone is happy with our friendship and has a strong bond that never goes down in any situation.

My Best Friend Essay 500 Words

My best friend’s name is Siddhart Jadhav. We have been friends since class 7th A in Alfred Nobel High School. We both studied in the same school in childhood but not in the same class as our sections are different. Later that time, all the students from all the sections are sorted according to the previous academics’ percentages and grades and separated into four different sections. Due to this separation, I met Siddhart in the 7th A, and we became friends at that time. Later, time goes by, and our friendship bond becomes stronger, and we become best friends with each other and spend most of our time together in school, tuition, and extra classes. We also sit on the same bench in the classroom.

Our likes and dislikes are also common, and we also love to dance and sing. In every annual gathering and other function that is held in our school, we both participate and give our best performances. We never wanted to win the competitions, our intention was to enjoy the gathering. Some of our school teachers don’t like our togetherness and friendship, but some of them loved and always blessed our strong bonded friendship to stay longer and longer. Siddharth and I always talked in the running classroom, and most of the time, our teacher also punished both of us by standing outside the classroom. We always tried to irritate the lecturer in the chemistry lectures by asking tons of doubts and questions. We eat tiffin boxes sitting on the last benches.

Apart from this naughtiness, Siddharth is very punctual, and he is never late for coming to school and attending classes. He always completes his homework at a given time and being with him, I also start studying very well and completing my homework on time. He keeps his books and copies very clean. His writing is very nice and encourages me to write cleanly and clearly for better understanding. My parents also compliment my friend that being with him, I also become responsible and a good student.

Siddharth and I are both excellent football players and athletes. When we both start playing the football game, the opponent team never wins. Our sports teacher always motivates us and tells us that we will become good football players one day. My parents also know Siddharth very much, and they like his pleasant behavior. Feel free when Siddharth and I stay together, whether for playing games, video games, study, or for going out to have fun with other classmates. Siddharth is my best friend, my first friend. He is the one who offers me help in my studies when I need it, supports me and always shows love to me, defends me, and stands by my side in any situation no matter what.

In academics, my best friend, Siddharth, is chosen to be awarded the best student of the year in the 10th class. He is one of the brilliant students of our school and also won many of the competitions that were held in school. He is like a well-wisher, and I always enjoyed his company. He, too, feels secure and relieved by spending time with me as well. He is like a problem-solving friend to me. I never wanted to lose him in my life.

Introduction.

‘A man is known by the company he keeps’, Says a proverb. Hence one needs to be very careful in selecting friends. As Shakespeare has pointed out in his play ‘As You Like It’, ‘Most friendship is feigning, most loving mere folly’. Fair-weather friends are plenty; true and reliable friends are few and far between.

My Best Friend

I have many friends in my school , but most of them are only so-called friends. They are not dependable. Out of them, only Arvind is my true and sincere friend. He is my best friend. I am, indeed, proud of his friendship.

Arvind is the only son of a district court judge. Even then he is very humble and modest. His financial position is sound and enviable. Yet prosperity has not turned him proud and rude. He is not puffed with pride.

His Qualities

Arvind has all the fine qualities of head and heart. He is tall, healthy, and handsome. He is affectionate, kind, sociable, and extremely helpful. He is a good sportsman on the playground and an inviable scholar in the classroom.  All praise, honour, and admiration sit lightly on him. He is not swollen-headed. He is all the more modest and polite because of them.

He is a hard-working boy. He is kind and compassionate. His heart melts at the sight of poverty, sickness and human suffering of any kind. In order to serve the suffering humanity selflessly, he has decided to become a doctor and set up his medical practice in some rural Adivasi area. He often says that the selfless service of the poor is the true service of God.

Our Friendship

I am so proud that I have such an ideal friend like Arvind. Because of his company and rare friendship, my outlook, attitude, and behaviour have been positively influenced. His friendship has given a new, healthy dimension to my life and I, now, look forward to a happy and bright future.

Short Paragraph on Friendship in 150 Words

Love is not love/ that alters when it alteration finds. So wrote Shakespeare. Your true friend loves you come what may. It is the love and friendship your friend has for you that matter most. Any change of circumstance matters little to the deep love shared.

Friendship is to be treasured like a jewel. If jewels are lost they can be replicated. But a true friend cannot be cloned. Value your friendship. It will pass the test of time. Once true, always true. Such is a real friend.

A true friend cares for you at all times. Even when the going is bad, your friend will stay with you with unwavering love and affection and as much care and concern. Likewise, even if you are not in physical proximity with each other the friendship with a true friend does not wane. Space and time do not matter in true friendship.

Paragraph on Friendship in 200 Words

Man is a social being. He lives in society. As a gregarious and social being, he lives and interacts with so many people all through his life.

In our interactions with people, we make many friends. We enjoy the company of our friends; in fact that is why they are our friends.

We influence our friends, and likewise our friends influence us. Friendships therefore have a great bearing on our life. That is why we must be choosy when we make friends, because we want long lasting true friends whom we may trust and who, in turn, can trust us. Friendship calls for loyalty. If you cannot be loyal to your friends, you will lose them.

In a real friendship that has matured over time, there are not even any expectations between two friends. You love your friend whatever may happen, and you love not for any reason or to get anything in return from your friend. And this is the sentiment shared by your friend too. Such a friendship is a real friendship and it gives true joy and contentment. Even troubles and miseries that life may bring seem insignificant when you have such a friendship to bank on

Friendship Paragraph 400 Words

Our friends mean so much to us. When we are with our friends we have a good time. When we want to share a joke it is our friends whom we choose. When we want to enjoy a holiday we do it best with our friends. When we want to unwind after a hard day’s work it is with our friends.

A true friend means much

It is a true friend who can turn a grey day into a bright and beautiful one. A real friend is like spring time. Just as spring can bring blooming flowers, singing birds and dancing butterflies, our friends can make us have broad smiles, cheerful hearts and chirpy tunes to hum.

It is love that friends share generously. And that is what enables them to also share their miseries, troubles and pains as also joys, pleasures and successes. Your true friend wants to see you happy just as you always wish your friend to be joyful. And just as you become miserable if failure or sorrow come your friend’s way, your friend is left feeling terrible should trouble or misery come your way.

Treasure your friendship

Friendship is a bond between two hearts. Hence it stays intact; rather, it grows from strength to strength. This is what gives true friends the capacity to stay together through thick and thin with affection and with joy.

Friends treasure and cherish their relationship. For the sake of your true friend you would be willing to go not just the extra mile, but much more. True friendship is a very powerful bond. Even if frictions happen to come between you and your friend they are meaningless and have no weight, and are as transient as a whiff of air. It is the power of love that makes for a true friendship. The bond of true friendship is unbreakable. No tempest is too much for true friends.

Between two friends there is nothing to hide. True friends can be absolutely frank with each other, ready to pour their heart out to the other. In a friendship between two close and dear friends, the love for each other is limitless and undying. And so one could share a relationship of true friendship with one’s parent or sibling or then one’s spouse. In fact God is often one’s real friend. True friendship stands the test of time. When all else will desert, a true friend will still be around.

Essay on Friendship | 800+ Words Paragraph on Friendship

A man is a social animal. He cannot live alone. He lives in a society with other people. He makes friends with them and shares both tears and cheers.

Essay on Friendship

Friendship is one of the greatest bonds between any two persons. It is a kind of bond of understanding and dedication. It is one of the precious and beautiful gifts for anyone. A friend is a person whom we love and respect. Similarly, a true friend is a person with whom we meet talk to, and share everything. Thus, friendship is a feeling that brings us close. It is based on love and affection. It is a devoted relation between any two individuals with immense care and love for one another. There can be no age limit for friendship. People of every age group and social background have their friends. It is indeed essential for the success and wellbeing of every person.

A person may be acquainted with many persons in his life but true friendship is the bond that is created with special people who support and share emotions with each other. A true friend is one who is not selfish. He shares both joys and sorrows. He helps to take the right path. True friendship is free of any kind of judgment. There exists a feeling of sharing, caring, and love. Thus, a person with true friends is very lucky in his life. It develops a feeling that you are wanted and cared for by someone. A true friend gives big support in times of need and company in times of sorrow.

He sympathizes in the time of difficulty. He supports you in every situation of your life and gives you pieces of advice to overcome the hurdles. He makes you smile and lift you up from every difficult situation. A person devoid of friendship cannot succeed. Persons who do not have families are backed up by friendship and true friendship becomes the family. It is the source of motivation in life. It helps to take the right path and saves us from evil. Good friends help to build up our positive character. Thus, true friends are invaluable treasures of life. But such a true friend is not easy to find as true friends make our life heaven but bad friends can make our life ugly as hell.

📌 Another Essay –  Essay on Technology

To build up a friendship, one has to be friendly. He must forsake selfish motives. If friendship is made for personal profit, it will not be a true friendship nor it will last long. It will break up soon. Once a friendship is broken, it cannot be patched up easily, for it is a relationship built upon mutual trust, understanding, and love. It is not a one-sided matter. Similarly, one should not be jealous. Jealousy is the cancer of friendship.

In the same way, the friendship will come to an end if the friends are not kind, considerate, and tolerant to each other. He should think of what he can do to his friend, rather than what he can gain from him. Since friendship is not a one-way path to gain loyalty and trust one should do the same to complete the friendship circle. True friends remain with us in every situation if there is mutual trust and sharing among one another.

We must differentiate a true friend from a selfish friend thus need to select friends very carefully. As every glitters is not gold, the apparent sight should not only be used to judge the nature of friends. A false friend becomes close only to get some profit. He will break up the tie once he does not see any clue of the gain. Such friends are called ‘ fair-weather friends’. We must be careful of such friendship. They can easily deceive us for personal interests and gain.

We spend most of our time with friends thus their habits, behavior, and appearance have a direct impact on us too.  Bad company can result in the formation of bad habits, addiction, clash with family, and even risk the career. Only true friends try to avoid misunderstanding and conflicts to make the bond stronger.

Thus, true friendship cannot be expressed in words. It is indeed a blessing for everybody. True friends protect us from physical and emotional hurt. They provide us the reason to be strong and motivated in life. They are pillars of our life. That is why it is said, “ a true friend is the one who stays in while all others are out “.
