In sync™  platform updates: .

New in-browser PDF annotation tool option:

Teachers now have an additional option when creating an assignment that enables students to complete and submit the PDF within the  in Sync  platform. Teachers can still utilize the existing assignment options to enable students to download and upload a file, or not require a student submission for the assignment at all.

Students can draw, create shapes, and type text directly on the PDF in their browser, without having to download and upload the completed file. Progress is automatically saved approximately every minute.

For more information and brief demo videos, please see our updated Help Center articles:  Creating and Completing Assignments  and  Completing and Submitting Student Work .

An anticipated issue was resolved: Student annotations using the new tool on the Spanish version of the PDF will be autosaved.

in Sync  support for multiple/new teachers in a class to access all class assignments:

Any teacher associated with a class will now be able to create, review, close, and delete assignments for that class.

If a Primary teacher is removed from a class and a new Primary teacher is added to the class, the new teacher will see all historical assignments for that class.

Similar support was previously released last month for the  Affirm  platform.

Teachers can filter their assignment list by curriculum and class.

If you use multiple curricula, first select the relevant curriculum, then select a class (“section”).

An anticipated issue was resolved: Assignment list filter selections will be saved when a teacher navigates away from the assignments page.

Easy access to greatminds.org user dashboard from the “Other Resources” button:

When a user clicks on the “Other Resources” button in the App Switcher (the accordion icon in the upper right corner) they will be taken to their greatminds.org user dashboard.

The user will be automatically logged into their  https://greatminds.org/  account and will be able to access any resources they have previously added to their dashboard, in addition to those available at  https://greatminds.org/resources

Some users with earlier versions of Chrome (browser version 86 or earlier) encountered an unexpected error when viewing html-based  Learn Anywhere Plan  pages.

Teachers rostered to more than 20 classes were unable to select some classes when creating an assignment.

Affirm  Platform Updates

New Eureka Math Administrator Standards Performance Report: Provides performance data against standards for each assessment submitted by a student. This report generates a row for each assessment taken by each student and provides performance data against standards in columns.

New Eureka Math and Wit & Wisdom Administrator Participation reports provide data on how many assessments have been assigned per class and how many have been submitted by students. This data can help understand implementation trends within the district. Rows are generated for each class/grade combination, and only submitted attempts are counted. *note- within the Teacher UI, partial submissions are counted in the teacher visual reports, whereas within the Admin Participation Report, only full submissions are counted. For this reason, there are occasionally minor differences in calculated values.
