Undergraduate Honors Theses - William & Mary
W&M ScholarWorks is the official repository for W&MHonorsTheses. Digital theses became William & Mary's standard format beginning in 2016. Students are required to submit their thesis in electronic form, commonly called an ETD (electronic theses and dissertations) to W&M ScholarWorks.
Honors | Physics | Arts & Sciences - William & Mary
The HonorsThesis. Mid-Year Reports: All candidates for Honors are required to present a mid-year report, consisting of a paper and a short talk. The paper is to consist of approximately 5-10 double-spaced printed pages including appropriate figures, formulae, and references.
Senior and Honors Research | Physics - William & Mary
Undergraduate research performed before the start of the senior year may be included as an integral part of the senior or honorsthesis. Prior work may include summer research for which the student received a stipend.

The Application of Four-Wave Mixing to Cold and Ultra-Cold Atom Imaging, Francesca Fornasini. Honors Theses from 2009 PDF
Physics - William & Mary
In its Honors Program the Physics Department awards one level of Honors to student research projects. The projects listed below have been defended successfully, and a copy of the thesis deposited in Swem Library.
A thesis submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirement for the degree of Bachelor of Science with Honors in Physics from the College of William and Mary in Virginia,
Development of Wearable Sensors for - William & Mary
This thesis describes the development of wearable sensors to be used in this on-going study to collect gait data and predict falls among senior citizens. This study is looking to obtain a few vital pieces of information including step clearance during the swing phase as well as foot angle at the start and end of a step. Step clearance
External Cavity Diode Laser for Ultra-cold Atom Experiments
This thesis describes the constuction and characterization of an external cavity diode laser (ECDL) for spectroscopy experiments on rubidium at 780 nm. The ECDL uses a Littrow design in which a grating re ects a fraction of the laser light back into the laser diode resulting in a narrower linewidth. The laser wavelength can be tuned
EPAD Honors | Physics | Arts & Sciences - William & Mary
EPAD Honors Program in physics provides the opportunity for especially well qualified students to complete their undergraduate education by engaging in more independent design project in addition to a group EPAD capstone.
