- Provides interpreter services for Spanish speaking clients in the clinic setting including but not limited to translation during Obstetrical History appointments for Spanish speaking clients
- Makes rounds and assists physicians/nurses as a chaperone during patient visits as needed
- Assists with making patient reminder phone calls as needed on a daily basis in English/Spanish as needed
- Assists with making no show calls to patients who did not come for their scheduled appointment as needed
- Prepares client chart, laboratory slip and specimen collection containers with correct data labels as the direction of the CHN/MA as need arises
- Makes Xerox copies of client records to be sent to labor & delivery as needed
- Assists with preparing the new clients paper chart as needed
- Assists with obtaining clients paper charts for the clinical area as needed
- Assists with stocking rooms, inventories and ordering of supplies as needed
- Attends and participates in team/general staff meetings, in-services and continuing education including all required Title X Annual updates in TRAIN

- Teaches classes about breastfeeding, using a lesson plan prepared by an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and facilitate the breastfeeding support group at the WIC site
- Documents all client contacts in FL-WiSE
- Attends breastfeeding in-service education, workshops and staff meetings as assigned. Reads books and materials related to breastfeeding

- Completes required reports in various computer systems; such as time in People First, activities in HMS, and travel in an Excel document
