"The only person who is educated is the one who has learned how to learn …and change." Abstract: Education opens up the mind, expands it and allows you to improve and grow your life in many ways. Education system in India is of dates back where children were taught in Gurukulas. Now they have transformed in to schools, colleges and universities. The best human resources can be produced by providing quality education to them. There is a need of quality education as we are competing globally. The evaluation of quality is important both internally as well as externally. But emphasis should be more on internal evaluation than the external one as it is done through self-study, self-analysis and self-interpretation. Accreditation of Higher Education Institutions is very crucial to provide quality education. For the same NAAC, an autonomous body has been established by UGC. The purpose of establishment of NAAC is to enhance, promote and to maintain quality education in higher institution. The accreditationstatus of Higher Education Institutes speaks about that particular institute is meeting the standards set by the accreditation agency. NAAC makes the institutions to go through the process of self-evaluation and them to develop and maintain autonomy and innovation in higher education. There are certain issues and challenges which the institutions have to face in order to maintain and promote the quality of education. This paper attempts to describe the process of accreditation, issues and challenges faced by the institutions.

Jyoti Kawalekar

Education plays a vital role in the development of any nation. Higher education is a powerful instrument for creating knowledge and information based society. The mission and vision of higher education is to educate, train, and undertake research activities and service to the community. Higher education is nothing but production and dissemination of knowledge. Therefore, the higher education is to be the best on both quantity and quality. The past few decades have witnessed a sea change in higher education in India. Rapid economic growth, globalization, emergence of the private sector in higher education and an increasing demand for quality education louder than ever before. Higher education is gradually being perceived as a private good with benefits adding to the recipient of higher education. In such an environment, it is necessary to have an effective and efficient quality assurance mechanism in place in the country. There is an urgent need to improve the quality of Higher Educa...

Vishnu W Patil

NAAC's philosophy of educational development in terms of quality seems to gain no positive consequences on two levels i.e. its adherence to 'growth' and insufficient address to problems of 'totalitarianism'.

Deogiri College recently received A grade with CGPA of 3.75 out of 4 in its third cycle of accreditation and I could witness the whole process from the beginning as the coordinator of IQAC. My college stands first in Maharashtra with the highest CGPA and perhaps 4th in India. Many colleges nowadays come to visit Deogiri College, Aurangabad. I observed that many colleges ignore the importance of right psychological preparations for the assessment. In this paper, I have dealt with the aspect of such preparation in details. However, the issues discussed in this paper have been generated from the experience of successful interactions and presentations. Subjective 'I' would be frequent as you go through the paper.

College & Campus Overview - GNIT

  • The faculty was very well informed and educated.
  • There were many extra-curricular activities for student engagement.
  • Lack of any major industrial exposure for student training and development.
  • Lack of any major company for student placement.

Eligibility for the course was scoring a set rank in the state board entrance exams. The application form, application fees and application dates are to be found in the college as well as the university website. The Exams are quite favourable.

Ajeyo Chakraborty

College life

  • I love my college because my college faculties are best.
  • College campus are too beautiful, in our college campus many sports facilities there.
  • We want a college canteen in our college premises but there are no college canteen.

We are selected for our course to done with CET exam, but our college have reservation benefit. CET exam is not too difficult. I think if students are preparing for this course then they are cracked the exam.

Shreyan Sarkar

My college journey

  • The faculty members are very friendly and helpful and assisted the students whenever needed.
  • The infrastructure and the lab equipments are always on point as needed by the students.
  • The distance of the college was very far from my home.
  • The canteen was in a different building so it was a task to get lunch in the lunch break

The admission process is pretty straight forward. Anyone can take admission directly without giving any entrance exam because it's an autonomous college and they also allow candidate's who comes through entrance exams and the cut-off is pretty descent to get admission at Guru Nanak Institute of Technology.

Romik Halder

True Face Of The Campus

  • Cultural activities, competitions, programs
  • Washroom hygiene should be improved a bit

Admission process was quite smooth. We had shown our WBJEE and JEE MAIN rank cards. Also there was different cut offs for different streams. Minimum of 75 percent in boards is mandatory. I really didn't found any aspect which needs to be changed. Application forms, application fees and application dates are always updated on the website page of the college.

Oindrila Chakraborty

Speaker of Truth About Gnit

  • I am liking the campus experience so much until now
  • Am liking the facilities especially the labs that are provided for use and classes
  • The guy at the admission cell who wanted me to opt for something I didn't wanted

I just required maths in 12th Gnit.ac.in Don't kno about reservation benefits Exams are held every six months which are the semester exams and those are kind of moderate and above most of the time and some small tests are taken in every 3 months known as CA which are easy The guy at the admission cell wanted to get me some other course instead of the one I wanted to have...but I sticked to the one I wanted and got it...changing that guy would be better for others

  • Our campus is very big and very beautiful. We have three big field where our students are practice VOLLEYBALL, BADMINTON, FOOTBALL, CRICKET, we have BUSKATE BALL COAT .
  • There is no objections about maintenance but sometimes they are delay to clean wash room
  • We have only one water filter for drink and this also in ground floor,

Must have complete your HS examination on science stream Then i clear WB joint entrance examination and rankd 59000 so i got this stream But this course is fully based on semiconductor.. So must have basic knowledge about physics.. For better ranked please studies NCRT books and chemistry physics and math books... An honest review

  • Gurunanak Institute of Technology is a very good college to pursue any course. It provides the students with betterment of education.
  • The environment of my college is very friendly, and there is no discrimination between boys and girls here
  • This is one of our college hostel accommodations; the average, but the mess food was very bad

The admission process was based on an entrance exam known as WB JEE. As per the rank in that eaxm admission process is conducted. There are reservation for the students having domicile but other states candidates are treated as unreserved. The admission process was quite fair and staffs are supportive.

Good and bad about GNIT KOLKATA

  • There is not too much pressure of attendance.
  • Teachers teach well, helpful. Give notes and suggestions for sem exams
  • We have outdated syllabus. Programming isn't supported.
  • Its hard to find good coding peers in college.

Admission was based on wbjee rank. No other entrance exam was held. I got 19k rank and was eligible for cse branch as a general category candidate. For admission, I was needed to submit documents regarding results, aadhar etc. Some students got placements through money.

Product details

At its core, the MoSCoW method is simply a prioritization framework that can be applied to any kind of situation or project, but it works best when a large number of tasks need to be ruthlessly whittled down into a prioritized and achievable to-do list. The core aim of the process is to classify tasks into four buckets; Must, Should, Could and Won’t. As you can probably fathom, Must is the highest priority bucket, and Won’t is the lowest. You can also presumably now see where the funny capitalization in the term ‘MoSCoW’ derives from. One of the primary benefits of a MoSCoW exercise is that it forces hard decisions to be made regarding which direction a digital product project will take. Indeed, the process is usually the first time a client has been asked to really weigh up which functions are absolutely fundamental to the product (Must), which are merely important (Should) and which are just nice-to-haves (Could). This can make the MoSCoW method challenging, but also incredibly rewarding. It’s not uncommon for there to be hundreds of user stories at this stage of a project, as they cover every aspect of what a user or admin will want to do with the digital product. With so many stories to keep track of it helps to group them into sets. For example, you may want to group all the stories surrounding checkout, or onboarding into one group. When we run a MoSCoW process, we use the following definitions. Must – These stories are vital to the function of the digital product. If any of these stories were removed or not completed, the product would not function. Should – These stories make the product better in important ways, but are not vital to the function of the product. We would like to add these stories to the MVP build, but we’ll only start working on them once all the Must stories are complete. Could – These stories would be nice to have, but do not add lots of extra value for users. These stories are often related to styling or ‘finessing’ a product. Won’t – These stories or functions won’t be considered at this stage as they are either out of scope or do not add value.

The first two slides of the template are similar in design and structure. These slides can be used to provide general information to the team about the client’s needs. The slides will be useful for the product owner, development team, and scrum master. The next slide groups user stories into vertical columns. You can also set a progress status for each user story. The last slide gives you the ability to specify the time spent on each user story. After summing up the time for each group, the team can understand how long it will take them to complete each group. All slides in this template are editable based on your needs. The template will be useful to everyone who uses the Agile method in their work.
