Crazy Literature teacher thinks 94% is an A* HELPPP
I'm in Y12 and my Literature teacher gave me an A as my final grade of the year, which will be the biggest factor affecting my predicted grades for uni, even though I got 91% across both papers.
What do I do about this, she's the type of teacher to dodge your questions and misinform you, and I'm really worried about getting an A when I should be beyond an A* (edexcel past alevels have an A* around 77-80%)
Do I report her? Who do I report her to? Any tips on how to ask her? I just don't know what to do because she's the worst type fof teacher!

I did AQA english Lit b last year. From what I'm aware, it is 2 pieces of coursework each worth 30 marks, for a total of 60 marks. They are worth up to 80 UMS (40% of the entire award). So for coursework: Raw mark out of 50, UMS mark out of 80. 40/50 = 80% = A. 62/80 = 80% = A. It is best not to think in terms of grades though, and think in terms of points. You need 320/400 to get an A at A Level. This means you can only afford to drop 20 marks per unit. 280/400 = B. 240/400 = C.
As a post-16 teacher and Head of Year 13, we are often questioned as to why progress has/hasn't been made by those in management. If she were to give you an A* now, regardless of grade boundaries, it would suggest to management that there is no progress to be made by you between now and your exams (I know that it is non-sensical).
