Structuralist Perspective on Chopin's 'The Story of an Hour'
A B S T R A C T Keywords: This study critically analyses Kate Chopin 's "The Story of an Hour" (1894) with Binaries, special reference to Saussurean structuralism. It aims at exploring several Kate Chopin different aspects of this work such as the notions of signification, binary Saussure, oppositions, and language arbitrariness.
