  3. Nefarious Movie Review

Nefarious outperforms. Nefarious delivered chills, jump scares, non cheeseball ending. The darkness provided by the plot contrasts actual faith. The bad guy really is the bad guy here. Overall this movie illustrates the war that Screw tape letters did generations ago. There is real darkness in this film that will have you thirsty for light.

  5. Review: Nefarious

As a result, Nefarious gets most of the film's interesting moments, his lawyerly rhetoric echoing the calculating logic of C.S. Lewis's bureaucratic demon in The Screwtape Letters. Repeatedly — and somewhat convincingly — Nefarious makes the case that humankind, despite its best intentions, will always drift over to the dark side.

  8. Review: Is 'Nefarious' a Christian movie? And why is Glenn Beck in it?

  13. 'Nefarious' (2023) Review

Everyone reading this has heard of the term "culture wars" when describing the effects that entertainment has on our society. Nefarious lives by the creed that we are not in a "culture war" but a "spiritual war" for the souls of every human being.Forget everything you know about modern horror films when discussing this movie because the rules of secular Hollywood do not apply here.

  17. NEFARIOUS

NEFARIOUS is an intense, spooky thriller with a well-written script and a few good twists. Sean Patrick Flanery and Jordan Belfi as Nefarious and the psychiatrist, Dr. Martin, have to hold up the story since most of the movie involves their characters doing verbal battle. They do a great job, which also means that the movie is directed well.

  19. 'Nefarious': The spiritual warfare that plagued the production

Despite ongoing spiritual opposition, "Nefarious" has seen astounding success: The film has received a 97% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes and grossed a whopping $1.3 million in its opening weekend despite being shown in only 933 theaters and opening against two other horror films. "The movie is surviving and growing," Konzelman said.

  20. So how are we feeling about Nefarious (2023)?

So how are we feeling about Nefarious (2023)? I mean I guess the NRA propaganda film ad should've clued me into what I was about to watch…. It was a fish bowl movie absolutely dripping with Christian propaganda. After the film we check Wikipedia and it was an indie Christian American production so that checks out.

  21. So I started watching this movie called Nefarious...

The Exorcist isn't a very preachy movie. But even taking your point, I don't care about religious themes in my movies. But the movie literally ends with the main character going on Glenn beck's show to warn against the devil. It stops being a horror movie and becomes something you'd watch on Sunday school

  23. God's Not Dead: In God We Trust

Movie Review. God's not dead. The title says so right from the get-go. But when it comes to Peter Kane, it's not for lack of trying. Back in 2016 (in the events chronicled in God's Not Dead 2), the attorney Kane led the prosecution (and persecution) of a young teacher who dared discuss Jesus' Sermon on the Mount in class.Alas for Kane, it didn't go all that well.

  24. Grave of the Fireflies

Movie Review "That was the night I died," says 14-year-old Seita as Grave of the Fireflies opens. He's not speaking metaphorically. As Seita's spirit observes his physical death in a lonely train station, surrounded by the bodies of other children who have died of starvation, he reflects on the events that led him to this place.

  26. Uglies

Compared to other teen dystopian movies such as The Hunger Games, The Maze Runner or Divergent, Uglies doesn't contain too much violence—the worst of it being a snapped neck. In terms of other issues, a brief sideview depicting a naked woman reveals some of her curves, and God's name is misused nearly 10 times.

  28. Transformers One

Movie Review. Optimus Prime. Megatron. Anyone who knows the lore of the Transformers recognizes those two names. They're the most powerful of the powerful, archenemies in a constant struggle of robotic right and wrong. But did you know that many, many, many years ago, back when they were young bots, these two were meager laborers? Oh, yes.

  29. The Killer's Game

Movie Review. If you see Joe Flood coming, you should count yourself among his luckier victims. Most don't get that honor before he kills them. Even Joe's fellow hitmen begrudgingly describe him as "the most prolific professional hitman in Europe."
