G20 सम्मेलन में जो बैठकें होती हैं वह विश्व की आर्थिक और वित्तीय स्थिति के लिए बहुत फायदेमंद होती हैं।
G20 व्यापार, जलवायु परिवर्तन और डिजिटलीकरण जैसे महत्वपूर्ण मुद्दो पर बात करता है।
आर्थिक संकट के दौरान G20 दुनिया की अर्थव्यवस्थाओं को स्थिर बनाने के लिए समन्वित कार्यों के लिए एक मंच प्रदान करता है। यह सम्मेलन अनेक देशों को आर्थिक संकट से उबरने में सहायता प्रदान करता है।
G20 विकास के मुद्दे, गरीबी उन्मूलन, बुनियादी ढांचे और सतत विकास जैसे विषयों पर भी खुलकर बोलता है।
यह सम्मेलन विकसित और विकासशील देशों को आपस में मिलकर काम करने का मौका प्रदान करता है।
G20 सम्मेलन का लक्ष्य यह रहता है कि वह निष्पक्ष होकर दुनियाभर के व्यापार को बढ़ावा दे। G20 यह उद्देश्य रखता है कि दुनियाभर के व्यापार में जो बाधाएं आती हैं, उन्हें कम कैसे किया जाए।
G20 सम्मेलन हमारे लिए बेहतर भविष्य तैयार करता है।

G20 सम्मेलन पर 10 लाइन

1 ) G20 सम्मेलन में 19 देश+यूरोपीय संघ हिस्सा लेते हैं। यह सभी देश हर तरह की महत्वपूर्ण मुद्दों पर चर्चा करते हैं।

2 ) G20 व्यापार, वित्त और जलवायु परिवर्तन जैसे विषयों पर खुलकर अपनी राय रखता है।

3 ) इस सम्मेलन का हिस्सा भारत, रूस, अमेरिका और चीन जैसे शक्तिशाली देश बनते हैं।

4 ) G20 सम्मेलन में कई देश के दिग्गज नेता साथ मिलकर काम करते हैं। इससे आपसी सौहार्द बढ़ता है।

5 ) G20 की बैठक इसलिए की जाती है ताकि हम सभी के लिए एक बेहतरीन भविष्य तैयार किया जा सके।

6 ) वैश्विक चुनौतियाँ से निपटने के लिए हर साल G20 की बैठकें रखी जाती हैं।

7 ) G20 व्यापार, वित्त और जलवायु परिवर्तन जैसे मुद्दो पर भी ध्यान केंद्रित करते हैं।

8 ) G20 को ग्रुप ऑफ ट्वेंटी भी कहा जाता है।

9 ) G20 की स्थापना साल 1999 में हुई थी।

10 ) G20 की बैठक में 20 देश शामिल होते हैं।

G20 सम्मेलन पूरे एक साल में होने वाली एक अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बैठक है, जो बहुत महत्वपूर्ण मानी जाती है। यह एक ऐसा सम्मेलन माना जाता है जिसमें दुनियाभर के बड़े दिग्गज नेता आवश्यक मुद्दो पर चर्चा करते हैं। इस सम्मेलन में विकसित और विकासशील राष्ट्र अपना अहम योगदान देते हैं। यह सारे देश मिलकर वैश्विक आर्थिक मुद्दे पर चर्चा करते हैं।

A2. 90 का वह दौर एक ऐसा दौर था जिसमें दुनिया के कई देश मंदी से गुजर रहे थे। इन देशों में एशिया की हालत और गंभीर थी। इसी कारण G20 सम्मेलन की शुरुआत 1999 से की गई थी। अनेक देशों के वित्त मंत्री और केंद्रीय बैंक के गवर्नर के लिए इस तरह का सम्मेलन एक महत्वपूर्ण मंच बनकर उभरा।

A3. इस साल G20 सम्मेलन की थीम है- एक पृथ्वी · एक परिवार · एक भविष्य’ अर्थात् ‘वसुधैव कुटुंबकम’। One Earth · One Family · One Future।

नई दिल्ली, भारत में 9 और 10 सितंबर, 2023 को 18वें G20 शिखर सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया गया। यह पहला शिखर सम्मेलन था जब भारत ने G20 देशों के शिखर सम्मेलन की मेज़बानी की।

इस शिखर सम्मेलन का विषय " वसुधैव कुटुंबकम " था, जिसका अर्थ है " विश्व एक परिवार है "।
G20 देशों की नई दिल्ली घोषणा में रूस-यूक्रेन तनाव से लेकर धारणीय विकास, खाद्य सुरक्षा और वैश्विक जैव ईंधन गठबंधन शुरू करने जैसे विविध वैश्विक मुद्दों पर सर्वसम्मत सहमति बनी।

18वें G20 शिखर सम्मेलन के प्रमुख निष्कर्ष:

इस मंच में विकासशील देशों का प्रतिनिधित्व बढ़ाने के एक महत्त्वपूर्ण कदम के रूप में G20 देशों ने अफ्रीकी संघ (African Union- AU) को स्थायी सदस्य के रूप में शामिल करने का निर्णय लिया।
G20 में AU की सदस्यता वैश्विक व्यापार, वित्त और निवेश को नई दिशा देने का अवसर प्रदान करती है तथा G20 के भीतर ग्लोबल साउथ के प्रतिनिधित्व में वृद्धि करने में अहम भूमिका अदा करेगी।
इससे G20 के भीतर अफ्रीकी संघ के हितों और दृष्टिकोणों पर विचार करना और उन पर ध्यान देना संभव हो सकेगा।
यह भारत के नेतृत्व में एक पहल है जिसका उद्देश्य जैव ईंधन अपनाने को बढ़ावा देने के लिये सरकारों, अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संगठनों तथा उद्योगों का गठबंधन सुनिश्चित करना है।
इस पहल का लक्ष्य जैव ईंधन को ऊर्जा संक्रमण के एक प्रमुख घटक के रूप में स्थापित करना तथा रोज़गार सृजन व आर्थिक विकास में योगदान देना है।
अंतर्राष्ट्रीय ऊर्जा एजेंसी के अनुसार, शुद्ध शून्य लक्ष्य के परिणामस्वरूप वर्ष 2050 तक जैव ईंधन क्षमता में साढ़े तीन से पाँच गुना वृद्धि की जाएगी।
GBA के सदस्य देश जैव ईंधन के प्रमुख उत्पादक और उपभोक्ता हैं। इथेनॉल के उत्पादन में संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका द्वारा 52%, ब्राज़ील द्वारा 30% एवं भारत द्वारा 3% के साथ लगभग 85% के योगदान के साथ ही इन्हीं देशों में इसकी लगभग 81% खपत होती है।
इसमें शामिल होने के लिये 19 देश और 12 अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संगठन पहले ही सहमति व्यक्त कर चुके हैं।
बांग्लादेश, सिंगापुर, मॉरीशस, संयुक्त अरब अमीरात।
आइसलैंड, केन्या, गुयाना, पैराग्वे, सेशेल्स, श्रीलंका, युगांडा और फिनलैंड।
विश्व बैंक, एशियाई विकास बैंक, विश्व आर्थिक मंच, विश्व एलपीजी संगठन, संयुक्त राष्ट्र-सभी के लिये ऊर्जा, UNIDO, बायोफ्यूचर्स प्लेटफाॅर्म, अंतर्राष्ट्रीय नागरिक उड्डयन संगठन, अंतर्राष्ट्रीय ऊर्जा एजेंसी, अंतर्राष्ट्रीय ऊर्जा मंच, अंतर्राष्ट्रीय नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा एजेंसी, विश्व बायोगैस एसोसिएशन।
भारत-मध्य पूर्व-यूरोप आर्थिक गलियारा (IMEC) की स्थापना के लिये भारत, अमेरिका, सऊदी अरब, यूरोपीय संघ, संयुक्त अरब अमीरात, फ्राँस, जर्मनी और इटली की सरकारों के बीच एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किये गए।
इसका लक्ष्य सार्वजनिक और निजी निवेश के संयोजन के माध्यम से विकासशील देशों में बुनियादी ढाँचा परियोजनाओं को वित्तपोषित करना है।
IMEC भारत, मध्य-पूर्व और यूरोप को जोड़ने वाली एक महत्त्वपूर्ण बुनियादी ढाँचा परियोजना है।
इस परियोजना का लक्ष्य रेलवे और समुद्री मार्गों सहित परिवहन गलियारों का एक नेटवर्क स्थापित करना है।
इसे चीन के बेल्ट एंड रोड इनिशिएटिव (BRI) की प्रतिक्रिया के रूप में देखा जाता है, यह एक वैकल्पिक बुनियादी ढाँचा नेटवर्क प्रदान करता है।
विश्व बैंक द्वारा तैयार वित्तीय समावेशन दस्तावेज़ के लिये G20 ग्लोबल पार्टनरशिप ने केंद्र सरकार के तहत पिछले एक दशक में भारत के डिजिटल पब्लिक इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर (DPI) के परिवर्तनकारी प्रभाव की सराहना की है।
भारत के DPI दृष्टिकोण ने केवल 6 वर्षों में 47 वर्षों की वित्तीय समावेशन प्रगति हासिल की।
जन धन-आधार-मोबाइल (JAM) ट्रिनिटी की सहायता से वित्तीय समावेशन दर को वर्ष 2008 में 25% से बढ़ाकर 6 वर्षों के भीतर 80% से अधिक किया गया।
विभिन्न विनियामक ढाँचे, राष्ट्रीय नीतियों और आधार-आधारित सत्यापन ने DPI की स्थापना में अहम योदगान दिया।
PMJDY खातों की संख्या 147.2 मिलियन (मार्च 2015) से तीन गुना बढ़कर 462 मिलियन (जून 2022) हो गई।
इनमें से 56% खाताधारक महिलाएँ हैं, अर्थात् इनकी संख्या 260 मिलियन से अधिक है।
अप्रैल 2023 तक 12 मिलियन से अधिक ग्राहकों को आकर्षित करते हुए PMJDY ने कम आय वाली महिलाओं की बचत को बढ़ावा दिया।
भारत के डिजिटल G2P आर्किटेक्चर ने 53 मंत्रालयों के 312 योजनाओं के माध्यम से लाभार्थियों को 361 बिलियन अमेरिकी डॉलर के अंतरण की सुविधा प्रदान की।
इसके माध्यम से मार्च 2022 तक 33 बिलियन अमेरिकी डॉलर की कुल बचत की गई, जो GDP के 1.14% के बराबर है।
मई 2023 में 9.41 बिलियन से अधिक UPI लेन-देन हुए, जिनकी कीमत 14.89 ट्रिलियन रुपए थी।
वित्त वर्ष 2022-23 में UPI लेन-देन भारत की नॉमिनल GDP के 50% के करीब पहुँच गया।
DPI ने जटिलता, लागत और समय को कम करते हुए निजी संगठनों के संचालन को सुव्यवस्थित किया।
कुछ NBFCs ने 8% अधिक SME ऋण रूपांतरण दर, मूल्यह्रास लागत में 65% बचत और धोखाधड़ी का पता लगाने में 66% लागत की कमी हासिल की।
DPI उपयोग के साथ भारत में बैंकों की ग्राहक ऑनबोर्डिंग लागत 23 अमेरिकी डॉलर से घटकर 0.1 अमेरिकी डॉलर हो गई।
अनुपालन लागत को 0.12 अमेरिकी डॉलर से घटाकर 0.06 अमेरिकी डॉलर किये जाने से कम आय वाले ग्राहक अधिक आकर्षित हुए।
UPI-PayNow लिंकेज के कारण सिंगापुर के साथ सीमा पार से त्वरित और सस्ते भुगतान सुनिश्चित हुए।
13.46 मिलियन सहमति के साथ डेटा साझा करने के लिये 1.13 बिलियन खातों को सक्षम किया गया।
यह व्यक्तियों को उनके डेटा पर नियंत्रण प्रदान करता है, नवाचार और प्रतिस्पर्द्धा को बढ़ावा देता है।

G20 शिखर सम्मेलन 2023 की अन्य मुख्य विशेषताएँ:

अंतर्राष्ट्रीय ऊर्जा एजेंसी (IEA) के एक आकलन के अनुसार, यदि इस लक्ष्य को पूरा किया जाता है तो वर्ष 2030 तक सात अरब टन कार्बन डाइऑक्साइड उत्सर्जन से बचा जा सकता है।
यह ग्लोबल वार्मिंग को 1.5 डिग्री सेल्सियस तक सीमित करने के वैश्विक प्रयासों के अनुरूप है।
यह जीवाश्म ईंधन से स्वच्छ ऊर्जा विकल्पों की ओर एक महत्त्वपूर्ण संक्रमण का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है।
यह घोषणा स्वीकार करती है कि वर्तमान जलवायु कार्रवाई अपर्याप्त है और पेरिस समझौते के उद्देश्यों को प्राप्त करने के लिये खरबों डॉलर के वित्तीय परिव्यय की आवश्यकता पर प्रकाश डालती है।
निर्दिष्ट पैमाने पर नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा क्षमता का विस्तार करने से वर्ष 2023 और वर्ष 2030 के बीच लगभग 7 बिलियन टन CO 2 उत्सर्जन से बचा जा सकता है।
G20 के नेतृत्वकर्ता खाद्य और ऊर्जा की कीमतों सहित बढ़ती कमोडिटी कीमतों, जो जीवन-यापन के दबाव में योगदान करते हैं, का समाधान करने के महत्त्व को समझते हैं।
वैश्विक चुनौतियाँ कमज़ोर समूहों, विशेषकर महिलाओं और बच्चों को प्रतिकूल रूप से प्रभावित करती हैं, इसलिये उनका लक्ष्य भुखमरी और कुपोषण का उन्मूलन करना है।
G20 घोषणापत्र में मानवीय पीड़ा और यूक्रेन युद्ध के चलते वैश्विक खाद्य एवं ऊर्जा सुरक्षा, आपूर्ति शृंखला, मुद्रास्फीति तथा आर्थिक स्थिरता पर पड़ने वाले प्रभावों पर प्रकाश डाला गया है।
G20 देशों ने ब्लैक सी ग्रेन पहल के समयबद्ध और पूर्ण कार्यान्वयन का आह्वान किया।
खाद्य सुरक्षा और पोषण पर उच्च-स्तरीय सिद्धांतों के तहत सात सिद्धांतों के अंतर्गत मानवीय सहायता, खाद्य उत्पादन एवं खाद्य सुरक्षा नेट कार्यक्रम, जलवायु-स्मार्ट दृष्टिकोण, कृषि खाद्य प्रणालियों की समावेशिता, एक स्वास्थ्य दृष्टिकोण, कृषि क्षेत्र का डिजिटलीकरण तथा कृषि में ज़िम्मेदार सार्वजनिक व निजी निवेश को बढ़ाना शामिल हैं।
महर्षि (कदन्न और अन्य प्राचीन अनाज पर अंतर्राष्ट्रीय अनुसंधान पहल) का उद्देश्य अंतर्राष्ट्रीय कदन्न वर्ष 2023 और उसके बाद के वर्षों के दौरान अनुसंधान सहयोग को बढ़ाना तथा कदन्न एवं अन्य प्राचीन अनाज के विषय में जागरूकता उत्पन्न करना है।
G20 कृषि, खाद्य और उर्वरक में पारदर्शी, निष्पक्ष और नियम-आधारित व्यापार को बढ़ावा देने के लिये प्रतिबद्ध है। उन्होंने निर्यात प्रतिबंध नहीं लगाने, बाज़ार की विकृतियों को कम करने और WTO नियमों के साथ तालमेल बिठाने की प्रतिज्ञा की।
इसके अंतर्गत वनस्पति तेलों को शामिल करने के लिये AMIS का विस्तार करना और खाद्य कीमतों में अस्थिरता से बचने हेतु प्रारंभिक चेतावनी प्रणालियों के साथ सहयोग बढ़ाना शामिल है।
इसकी शुरुआत वर्ष 2007-08 और 2010 में वैश्विक खाद्य कीमतों में बढ़ोतरी के बाद G20 के कृषि मंत्रियों द्वारा वर्ष 2011 में की गई थी।
वर्ष 2011 में फ्राँसीसी G20 अध्यक्षता के दौरान बीस (G20) कृषि मंत्रियों ने GEOGLAM नीति अधिदेश का समर्थन किया था।
वर्ष 2023 की नई दिल्ली घोषणा पिछली G20 घोषणाओं, विशेष रूप से वर्ष 2015 के तुर्किये घोषणा, पर आधारित है, जिसमें आतंकवाद की कड़ी निंदा की गई थी। वर्ष 2022 के G20 बाली नेतृत्वकर्ताओं की घोषणा (जो मुख्य रूप से आतंकवाद के वित्तपोषण और वित्तीय कार्रवाई कार्य बल (FATF) को मज़बूत करने पर केंद्रित थी) के विपरीत नई दिल्ली घोषणा में आतंकवाद से संबंधित विभिन्न चिंताएँ शामिल हैं।
नई दिल्ली घोषणा में G20 देशों ने स्पष्ट रूप से आतंकवाद के सभी रूपों और अभिव्यक्तियों की निंदा की है।
यह घोषणापत्र वैश्विक परिसंपत्ति पुनर्प्राप्ति नेटवर्क को बढ़ाने और आपराधिक गतिविधियों से अर्जित धन की रिकवरी के लिये FATF के प्रयासों का समर्थन करता है।
G20 नई दिल्ली नेतृत्वकर्ताओं की घोषणा में स्वास्थ्य देखभाल पर काफी बल दिया गया है और एक लचीली स्वास्थ्य देखभाल प्रणाली के निर्माण की आवश्यकता को प्राथमिकता दी गई है।
यह अधिक लचीला, न्यायसंगत, सतत् और समावेशी स्वास्थ्य प्रणाली बनाने के लिये वैश्विक स्वास्थ्य व्यवस्था को मज़बूत करने हेतु प्रतिबद्ध है। इस प्रयास में विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन (WHO) की केंद्रीय भूमिका है।
इसका लक्ष्य आगामी दो से तीन वर्षों के अंदर प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य देखभाल, स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्र में कार्यबल और आवश्यक स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं को महामारी से पहले के स्तर से बेहतर स्तर तक बढ़ाना है।
तपेदिक और AIDS जैसी मौजूदा महामारियों का समाधान करने के अतिरिक्त G20 विस्तारित कोविड पर शोध के महत्त्व को रेखांकित करता है।
भारत की G20 अध्यक्षता ने आधुनिक चिकित्सा के साथ साक्ष्य-आधारित पारंपरिक चिकित्सा पद्धतियों के एकीकरण पर भी ज़ोर दिया।
इसमें वन हेल्थ दृष्टिकोण (जो रोगाणुरोधी प्रतिरोध से निपटने पर विशेष ध्यान देने के साथ एक ही तंत्र के अंदर पशुओं, पादपों और मनुष्यों में बीमारियों को ट्रैक करता है) अपनाने पर ज़ोर दिया गया है।

Birth and Caste Introduction

Bhimrao Ambedkar was born on April 14, 1891, in the Mahar caste, the Mahar was a heroic tribe who in ancient times won fame by participating in many armies. But it is considered an untouchable caste. His father Ramji Rao was a Subedar in the British Army who had won many medals for his bravery and his mother Bhimabai was also the daughter of a military major. Dr. Ambedkar was the fourteenth child of his parents.

Childhood and Education

Dr. Ambedkar’s childhood was spent in great suffering and struggle. His childhood name was Sakpal, who later became famous as Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar. He had a strong interest in reading. He was subjected to caste discrimination in a school in Satara. But he did not deviate from his path like a karmaveer. After some time Bhim Ji’s family started living in Mumbai. He entered Elphinstone High School.

He passed the matriculation examination in 1907. After that, despite the poor conditions, he was admitted to the college. Facing the hardships of poverty, deprivation, and caste discrimination, he passed BA in 1913 with English and Persian subjects. But his thirst for knowledge was not satisfied, he wanted to study further. His efforts were on for that.

Scholarship and Foreign Travel

Sayaji Rao Gaekwad was the king of Baroda state. He was a man of high thoughts and was a great humanist and loved by all. He wanted that the bright children of the untouchable class should also be given opportunities to get an education. The king knew that Bhimrao was a scholar, hardworking and intelligent. King sent him to America to pursue higher education on a monthly scholarship for three years. Bhimrao was admitted to M.A. in the famous Columbia University of New York.

In 1915, he passed the M.A. examination. Now he wanted to take the degree of Ph.D. He started researching the topic of the National Benefit of India. His directors and examiners were surprised to see his research paper. Then in 1924, Bhimrao got the title of Ph.D. Now he became famous as Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. He returned home after finishing his education.

Scope and conflict

On coming home, he reached Baroda from Bombay. The king appointed him to the post of military secretary. Even here he had to struggle every step of the way. The employees and the local people used to discriminate against them, but the king was pleased with them. In the end, Bhimrao got up from his discriminatory behavior and resigned from the job there.

He was a great scholar of his subject and became a Professor of Economics at Sydenham College, Bombay. He became popular with his good style and manners. In 1919 he again went to London. There he obtained the degree of M.Sc and D.Sc. He returned home after receiving the title of Bar-at-Law in law.

Resolve to improve society

Ambedkar had decided to bring reforms to society. He wanted to root out the caste system and untouchability and bring revolutionary changes to society. He inspired the untouchables to stand on their own feet and told the people that he would have to reform himself. For this, they will have to fight. He founded the Bahishkrit Hitkarini Sabha. A letter called Bahishkrit Bharat also started coming out. Through his efforts, libraries, schools, and hostels were opened for the untouchables everywhere. There was an awakening among the untouchables.

Constitution-Making

Dr. Ambedkar was a scholar, a jurist, and a scholar of the law. He studied the constitutions of many countries. When the work of making the constitution started in our country, the role of Dr. Ambedkar was active in it. He was a member of several committees of the Constituent Assembly. Among them, the main drafting committee is particularly noteworthy. He was made the chairman of the drafting committee.

This was a greater responsibility that only a person like Dr. Ambedkar could have performed. He prepared the overall draft of the Indian Constitution with his own hands. The form of the Indian Constitution today is the gift of Dr. Ambedkar. When the country became independent, he was made the first law minister of India.

The Government launched its year of the G-20 presidency on December 1 with some pomp, and 100 monuments from Kashmir to Kanyakumari lit up with India’s G-20 logo symbolising the motto “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, or “one earth, one family, one future”. In an editorial essay, Prime Minister Narendra Modi committed to making India’s year of chairmanship as one that will focus on “healing our ‘One Earth’, creating harmony within our ‘One Family’ and giving hope for our ‘One Future’”. There are plans for about 200 G-20 meetings across India. The preparatory and ministerial meetings will culminate in grand plans for a G-20 Summit, which will bring leaders of the ‘P-5’ countries and others to New Delhi next September. India has taken the baton from Indonesia, which had a difficult time in even scheduling meetings and ensuring full participation due to differences over the Ukraine war. There was even uncertainty till the end over whether all major leaders would attend; whether they would agree to a joint photo-opportunity (they did not), and whether there would be a joint statement — which was eventually forged. Like Indonesian President Joko Widodo, Mr. Modi will have to travel abroad to ensure that all G-20 leaders and invitees attend at the highest level. And officials will have to burn more midnight oil to achieve consensus on statements.

Symbolism and logistical coordination aside, the Government has a tough task ahead in conducting substantive negotiations to bring together a comprehensive G-20 agenda, where officials said they would focus on counter-terrorism, supply chain disruptions and global unity. In 2008, the first G-20 summit-level meeting in the U.S. was during a moment of crisis for the world’s financial systems. In 2022, the task for Mr. Modi and his team is equally crucial, given the lasting effects of the Russian war in Ukraine, western sanctions on energy that will deepen this month, economic downturns, pandemic worries and climate change issues that are testing the foundations of globalisation and an interconnected global economy. In his editorial, Mr. Modi said India would forge its G-20 agenda through its tradition of “collective decision-making” that, like India’s national consensus, would be made “... by blending millions of free voices into one harmonious melody”. At a time India itself faces economic distress and social and communal tensions, the Government should be prepared for more scrutiny on upholding such ideals. Having raised the pitch on India’s global prominence as G-20 President, and its power to shape the global narrative, the Government may find that with great power comes great responsibility, and a greater spotlight on its ability to translate its global dreams into the domestic landscape as well.

These member countries include Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, the European Union, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Russia, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

For India, the 2023 G20 is of paramount importance. It serves as a platform through which the nation can engage with the world's foremost economic players, advocating for its economic interests and addressing pressing global concerns. India, with its rapidly growing economy and substantial population, seeks to leverage this forum to not only safeguard its own interests but also to contribute to the resolution of critical global challenges, such as climate change, trade, and economic stability.

Importance of the G20 Summit

Together, the G20 members account for approximately 85% of the world's total economic output (GDP), more than 75% of worldwide trade, and nearly two-thirds of the global population, making it a vital forum for international economic cooperation. The G20 Summit is important as it serves as a platform for the leaders of the world's largest economies to collaborate on pressing global matters.

At the G20 Summit, leaders exchange ideas, deliberate on policy solutions, and coordinate efforts to tackle various global challenges, encompassing economic issues like recessions, trade, and investments, as well as social concerns like poverty, inequality, and climate change.

Importance of India’s G20 Summit Presidency 2023

G20 is the premier forum for international economic cooperation representing around 85% of the global GDP, over 75% of the global trade, and about two-thirds of the world population.

During the course of its G20 Presidency, India will host about 200 meetings in 32 different sectors in multiple locations across India.

According to Prime Minister Modi, this term can be an opportunity for India to share its expertise with the world in areas of women empowerment, democracy and digital technologies.
As a country with core democratic values, India can show the world that the scope of conflict can come to an end when democracy becomes a culture. This gains significance amidst the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict.
India’s foreign policy is focusing on the ‘global common good’. Through its G20 leadership, India hopes to extend this principle towards finding sustainable solutions to some of the key global challenges emerging out of the interconnectedness of the world, such as climate change, new and emerging technologies, food and energy security, etc.
This would be the first time when the Troika would consist of three developing countries and emerging economies.
It is hoped that as a result there would be a shift in the balance of power within the G20 favouring emerging economies to have a greater share in decision-making at this grouping.
The G-20 Presidency presents a great opportunity for India to correct the long-standing anomalies that go against developing countries, especially in the domain of agriculture and food subsidies.

भारत, जो वर्तमान में राष्ट्रपति पद पर है, जी20 शिखर सम्मेलन की तैयारी जोरों से कर रहा है। 9-10 सितंबर को आयोजित होने वाले G20 शिखर सम्मेलन 2023 में अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति जो बिडेन, फ्रांसीसी राष्ट्रपति इमैनुएल मैक्रॉन, ब्रिटेन के प्रधान मंत्री ऋषि सुनक, कनाडाई प्रधान मंत्री जस्टिन ट्रूडो और अन्य सहित कई विश्व नेता और गणमान्य व्यक्ति भाग लेंगे। यह स्पष्ट है कि G20 की अध्यक्षता एक प्रतिष्ठित सम्मान और जिम्मेदारी है। आइये जानें G20 Presidency in Hindi के बारे में विस्तार से।

G20 Presidency in Hindi : क्या होती है जी20 अध्यक्षता?

G20 Presidency in Hindi का अर्थ किसी विशेष सदस्य देश या राष्ट्र की भूमिका से है (ग्रुप ऑफ ट्वेंटी के सदस्यों के बीच) । G20 Presidency in Hindi वाला देश निर्धारित अवधि के लिए G20 समिट की मेजबानी और आयोजन करता है। G20 एक अंतरराष्ट्रीय मंच है जिसमें 19 व्यक्तिगत देश और यूरोपीय संघ शामिल हैं, जो दुनिया भर से प्रमुख अर्थव्यवस्थाओं का विविध समूह प्रतिष्ठित करते हैं। G20 का मुख्य उद्देश्य अंतरराष्ट्रीय आर्थिक और वित्तीय नीतियों को चर्चा करना और समन्वयित करना है।

G20 Presidency in Hindi : क्या बदलती रहती है अध्यक्षता?

G20 प्रेसिडेंसी हर साल अपने सदस्य देशों के बीच रोटेट होती है। प्रत्येक वर्ष, एक सदस्य देश G20 प्रेसिडेंसी की भूमिका ग्रहण करता है और उसका कार्य होस्टिंग और समिट का आयोजन करना होता है। इसमें प्रेसीडेंसी की भूमिका अन्य सदस्यों के परामर्श से वैश्विक अर्थव्यवस्था के विकास के लिए जी20 एजेंडे को एक साथ लाने की है। भारत को 1 दिसंबर 2022 को राष्ट्रपति पद दिया गया और भारत 30 नवंबर 2023 तक अध्यक्षता पद पर बना रहेगा।

G20 समूह की अध्यक्षता सदस्य देशों के पांच समूहों के बीच घूमती रहती है। समूह की बारी आने पर समूह का प्रत्येक देश अध्यक्षता पद के लिए पात्र हो जाता है। पात्र देश बातचीत करते हैं और समूह की अध्यक्षता का निर्धारण करते हैं।
