I just checked this with the iPhone PowerPoint app and the iPhone Office app that includes PowerPoint.
In both of them, the icon that looks like a right-pointing triangle starts the screenshow, where it initially shows a few tools at the top of the screen (assuming you're holding the device horizontally), but they either disappear on their own or go away when you tap or swipe up.
Was this reply helpful? Yes No
Sorry this didn't help.
Great! Thanks for your feedback.
How satisfied are you with this reply?
Thanks for your feedback, it helps us improve the site.
Thanks for your feedback.
Thanks Steve. You're right, the toolbar does go away in presentation mode when it's horizontal. Sorry, I should've mentioned my slides are portrait/vertically oriented! Which, unless I'm missing something, means that 40% of the screen is given up to notes and thumbnails in presentation mode....

iOS includes a screen rotation lock option. Try starting the presentation horizontally, then lock the screen and see if you can turn the iPhone to make the presentation readable. On some models, you can set the side switch to do the locking.
Hi John, thanks for the suggestion. With iPhone8/iOS 14.3 the screen lock option from swiping up the control center seems to be to lock portrait mode. So if I start ppt in landscape, select screen lock, then pivot to portrait I still get portrait mode in ppt, with the 40% screen loss.
I can see that a presentation mode that shows notes and thumbnails on the phone - a remote control effectively - would be great in many situations. Unfortunately, not for the use case I have in mind. Thanks everyone for your help, I'll stick with Google Slides as that seems to be the best fit for this use case.
Hi djowhite,
Thanks for using Microsoft products and posting in the community, I'm glad to offer help.
According to your description, I created a presentation with two portrait slides and opened it on iPhone, as you can see, the toolbar/notes will be hidden only in landscape mode. However, in portrait mode, even if I started the show, the toolbar/notes will always display on the screen, and there is no such an option could hide them.
Landscape mode:
Portrait mode:
We are sorry for the inconvenience to your work, in this case, I'd like to suggest you send feedback to Office to share your ideas, it would be helpful for Microsoft to improve the products, your understanding and contribution will be highly appreciated.

- Do one of the following: Swipe up to scroll manually, or tap Aa then turn on Auto Scroll. Drag the slider to adjust the scrolling speed.
- Tap the document to start scrolling, and tap it again to pause.
- Tap Aa to change the display settings like background color, font size, and line spacing.
- To return to your document, tap Done .

How to Set Up a Presentation Using Your iPhone or iPad
Table of Contents
These days, weâre more reliant than ever on mobile devices for productivity and connectivity, even in work scenarios like conferences and seminars. Itâs easy and convenient to power your presentations with an iPhone or iPad, but you might not know how to connect to an external display.
Weâll explain how to mirror a small screen to a more prominent display such as a smart TV, projector or monitor, whether youâre prepping for a presentation in a smart office or streaming content at home.
To share a presentation with a broader remote audience, consider uploading your presentation to YouTube .
How to give presentations from your iPhone or iPad
Bring your mobile presentation to life by connecting your iOS device to an external display. Several technologies can power mobile presentations on a larger screen, including AirPlay, which allows streaming and screen mirroring.
Weâll explain how sending your presentation to an external display works for the most common devices youâll encounter.
1. Send an iOS presentation to an Apple TV.
Mirroring your presentation from an iPad or iPhone to an Apple TV is straightforward. Hereâs how it works:
- Power on your Apple TV. Make sure itâs on the same Wi-Fi network as your iOS device.
- On your iOS device, load the presentation or content you want to share to the Apple TV.
- Tap the AirPlay icon . (It looks like a rectangular screen with a triangle at the bottom.)
- Choose your Apple TV .
- Your content will begin. To stop streaming, tap the AirPlay icon in the app youâre streaming from.
Consider accepting Apple Pay as a payment source for your business. Apple Pay is a mobile payment method that customers like using and often cite as their ideal payment method.
2. Send an iOS presentation to a smart TV.
If you have an internet-enabled smart TV, you have a few options, depending on your TV model.
AirPlay 2-compatible smart TVs
If you have an AirPlay 2-compatible smart TV, such as select Samsung models, LG TVs and Roku TVs, the process is nearly the same as using AirPlay with an Apple TV:
- On your AirPlay 2-compatible smart TV, go to Settings > General > Apple AirPlay Settings and enable AirPlay .
- Tap the AirPlay icon .
- Select your AirPlay 2-compatible smart TV.
- Play your presentation or content.
Smart TVs that arenât AirPlay 2-compatible
If your internet-connected smart TV isnât AirPlay compatible, consider a third-party mirroring app like AllCast. AllCast is an iOS app that wirelessly streams your phoneâs content to an external monitor. Hereâs how it works:
- Download AllCast from the App Store on your iOS device.
- Launch AllCast and tap the broadcast icon . It will find compatible devices on your network.
- Select your smart TV.
AllCast is also compatible with Roku devices, Amazon Fire TV devices, Apple TV, Microsoft Xbox consoles, and smart TVs from Samsung, Sony, Panasonic and more. While AllCast is free to download and use, in-app purchases allow you to remove ads and unlock features.
The Apple App store has 3.6 million apps available for download as of 2022, with Google’s Play Store offering 2.8 million. Explore our list of the best iPhone apps for business users .
3. Send an iOS presentation to a Mac.
If you want to send your iOS presentation to a larger Mac, the process is simple.
- Make sure your iOS device and Mac are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- On your iOS device, open the Control Center.
- Tap Screen Mirroring .
- Select your Mac.
- You may see an AirPlay passcode on your Mac screen. If so, enter the code on your iOS device.
4. Send an iOS presentation to a non-smart TV or projector.
Working with an old-school TV or a projector that doesnât connect to the internet? Not a problem. Use a connector or adapter to achieve the same effect as mirroring.
Connect to a monitor with an adapter.
If you have access to a monitor and you donât want to connect wirelessly, opt for an old-fashioned cable adapter. Apple sells a Lightning digital AV adapter with an additional power port (so you can charge your iPhone or iPad while you present from it).
At $49, Appleâs adapter is pricey for a one-off presentation, but if you travel a lot, the purchase could be worthwhile. Using Wi-Fi across various venues can be a gamble. If youâre presenting to clients, you may not want to roll the dice.
Connect to a projector with an adapter.
Many modern projectors have proprietary apps to connect to wirelessly from mobile devices, but they vary drastically in quality, availability and compatibility. If you want to be certain of your ability to connect to a specific projector, an adapter is an excellent option.
Newer projectors typically have HDMI and VGA ports. If you have a choice, opt for an HDMI adapter because itâll be more versatile. If you need to connect to an older projector, you will probably have to connect using a VGA adapter; Apple sells one (also priced at $49) with an added charging port, so you donât run out of juice.
There is almost always a way to connect an iPad or iPhone to an external display, though it might involve Apple-branded hardware or a stand-alone app.
FAQs about sending an iOS presentation to an external display
If youâre having trouble connecting your iPad or iPhone to a monitor or have other questions about creating a great presentation, youâll find commonly asked questions below.
What is screen mirroring?
Screen mirroring is the process of displaying the contents of a device like an iPad or iPhone on another device, such as a television, external monitor or projector. Screen mirroring is sometimes confused with screencasting, which is the process of recording everything happening on your screen.
Why do people use screen mirroring?
Screen mirroring is helpful anytime you want to share small-screen content on a big screen. People use screen mirroring in both personal and professional settings, including watching entertainment and running through presentations.
Can you screen mirror without Wi-Fi?
The only way to screen mirror without Wi-Fi is to use a cable connection or adapter. Screen mirroring apps wonât work if you canât access Wi-Fi. In fact, if youâre using a screen mirroring app, the device youâre mirroring from and the device youâre mirroring to have to be on the same Wi-Fi network.
One significant benefit of buying an HDMI adapter is that you no longer need to worry about Wi-Fi access when mirroring â you can plug in the cord and get started.
What are the best iPad apps for creating presentations?
There are many excellent presentation tools for all platforms. Keynote  is Appleâs answer to PowerPoint, and itâs a go-to among professionals who use Apple devices because itâs a free download from the App Store. You can also use PowerPoint on Apple devices via the PowerPoint mobile app. If you want to try something different, Google Slides  is the current black horse in the presentation software arena, and itâs also available through Appleâs App Store.
iPad business uses include remote desktop access, on-the-go presentations and access to Microsoft Office mobile apps.
Do I need an adapter to connect my iPad to my TV?
If you have Apple mobile devices and want to share content with a broader audience, an adapter is an excellent option. An adapterâs main advantage is allowing you to connect to nearly any external monitor. Adapters are helpful for people who want to mirror to an older TV or monitor without internet connectivity, as well as anyone who frequently hosts presentations in places without open Wi-Fi networks or smart monitors.
Can you screen mirror with an Android device?
Yes. Android and iOS both support business uses , such as screen mirroring for presentations. You can mirror your Android, PC or Google device on an external screen or projector with a built-in app, Bluetooth, a third-party app or an HDMI adapter. If you go down the app and Bluetooth route, ensure that your mobile device and the external monitor are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Quick Links
Create a slideshow for your photos and videos on iphone.
Thanks to the iPhone's built-in Photos app , you can make a slideshow and have your photos and videos play one after another without manual interaction. You can choose a custom background music track, theme, and even the speed of the slideshow.
The Photos app only lets you play your content as a slideshow; you can't save these slideshows to play at a later time on another device. However, as a workaround, you could record a video of your iPhone's screen while it plays and save it, or stream it to your Apple TV using AirPlay .

Evernote for iOS adds Presentation Mode
Evernote has added a new Presentation Mode which allows users to display slideshows of your notes in a clean full-screen interface with easy navigation. The iPhone and iPad apps support AirPlay for Presentation Mode, too. Single slides can be identified with simple horizontal lines in your notes, or by using the new Create a Table of Contents option. On the downside, this feature is reserved for Premium subscribers, which costs $5/month or $45/year.
Evernote recently added business card reading to their premium app and a really nice pen and paper notebook to their existing lineup. With Presentation Mode in the mix, it's no wonder Evernote's managed to break 100 million users. Still, butting headings with established giants in the presentation arena like PowerPoint may be an uphill battle for anyone that isn't already entrenched with Evernote's other functions.
How many presentations do you make a year? Are the current options not quite what you need? Is $45/year worth it for this kind of functionality?
Update : Turns out this feature's been around for awhile, the Evernote guys just felt like showing it off a little more with a new video and blog post.

How to Use Your iPhone as a Projector For Added Functionality

Gone is the era when you had to book a conference room with an overhead projector or carry a projector and laptop to give your presentation. Nowadays, you only need an iPhone, and you can project your presentation or documents on the go.
So let’s find out how to use an iPhone as a projector.
What's On This Page?
Are Projectors iPhone Compatible?
Of course, you already know that iPhones can’t actually project , and there’s no such thing as an Apple projector. However, iPhones can be connected to projectors, and there are multiple iPhone-compatible models on the market. Mini projectors for Iphones are a great option when you need to present important documents.
Outputting visual content from your phone on an external display is necessary sometimes since we rely more on mobile devices for work or school. Therefore it is easier to connect your iPhone to a projector. However, the process of connectivity will differ among the projector devices.
How to Initiate a Presentation Using Your iPhone
You can easily connect your iPhone to a projector in two ways: wirelessly or with cables. You can connect wirelessly on a wi-fi network, use a cable, or use Bluetooth connectivity to transmit audio. Here are the ways you can connect your iPhone to a projector.
1) Wireless Option
This is the preferred option for most people, especially if you don’t want to carry wires around, and if you forget one cable, you won’t be able to do the presentation. Here’s how to connect your iPhone to a projector wirelessly.
Airplay is the most dependable and easiest method of using your iPhone . It is versatile and can be used every day. However, you first have to find a projector that’s Airplay compatible. Newer models might be compatible, but not all of them. So you might want to check the specifications of your phone.
Airplay only offers screen sharing. Therefore, you should ensure you are ready to cast before connecting. Apart from images, the service also supports movies and videos. It can also work on Apple tv. Here’s how to connect via Airplay.
- Connect your iPhone to the same Wi-Fi network that the projector is on.
- Open Control Center.
- Tap the screen mirroring slider to turn it on.
- Find the name of your projector or Apple TV and click on it.
- Move the mirroring slider on the right until it turns green.
- Click on “done” to enable screen sharing.
b) Allplay App
If your devices are not Airplay compatible, this app will get you connected regardless. Although many other apps can easily connect your iPhone and projector, this is the best after Airplay. Additionally, this app works the same way as Airplay; you must be on the same Wi-Fi connection.
To connect the Allplay app to your projector:
- Make sure your Bluetooth is on.
- Go to the notification center.
- Click on the screen mirroring button.
- Find the name of your projector and click on it.
- Click on “ok” to enable screen mirroring.
Your iOS device might support Airplay, but your trusty old Epson projector might not, which is why you might need the best projector for home and office use .
Therefore, that’s where this presentation app comes in. After connecting the devices via the app, choosing the device you want is a matter of selecting it. Additionally, this app supports functions and can use an X-box gaming console, Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV, and Roku.
2) Wired Option
For some people, a wired connection is better because it’s faster. For example, when you connect your iPhone to your projector with a cable, the presentation runs in real-time on both devices.
There are many upsides to using wired connections, and the best one is that no lags are happening or Wi-Fi is needed. Here are cable options you can use.
a) Cable/Wired Connection
Much like the wireless connections, the wired connections also share your screen. Also, setting this method up is easy since it is the same process as most wired connections. The difference lies in selecting between :
Here is how to set up an HDMI connection:
- Plugin the lighting adapter into the charging port of your iPhone device.
- Connect the HDMI cable to the adapter and the other end to the projector.
- Switch to the right input for your projector so you can see the screen.
How to set up a VGA connection:
- Connect the adapter to your iPhone
- Plug the VGA cable into the projector and to your phone
- Click “VGA INPUT” on your screen
Keep in mind that some projectors have both HDMI and VGA ports. Nevertheless, always go for HDMI since the image quality is better. Therefore, it is the best option to transmit data.
b) Using a Dongle
Even though most iOS devices lack ports, Apple made up for that via a USB dongle. However, connecting a dongle requires more than one piece of hardware. To begin with, y ou will need the dongle and a HDMI cord to connect your iPhone screen to the projector.Afterward, you will also need a cord to connect the two devices.
Remember that you might need to consider what cable to use since not every portable projector has a HDMI cable output . Some still have the older VGA port outputs. Additionally, the cable has to be long enough so that the projector and your iPhone’s screen are not far away from the projector screen. It will help if you get a length that will give you the best-projected image during your presentation. This ensures your images don’t project onto the ceiling.
Getting the Most Out of Your Projector and iPhone: A Guide
By now, you already know what method you will select for connectivity. Of course, every device must have its equipment for the best functionality. Even connecting your Apple tv to a projector requires some hardware.
Here are some tricks on how to get the best out of both worlds.
a) Turn Off Sleep Mode on iPhone
Sleep mode disables notifications. Therefore, you might think it is the best choice; however, it isn’t. This is an essential tip when you are presenting a slide show. If you fail to turn off sleep mode while presenting, you could end up with a black screen in the middle of your presentation. However, it is important you know that private notifications could pop up as you are presenting.
b) Have Audio Under Control
When it comes to projectors, audio is a bit tricky. Even if your projector has speakers, you might not have an audio output. However, if you are presenting wirelessly, ensure audio is enabled.
On the other hand, HDMI is best if your presentations are on a wired connection. Still, you might be disadvantaged if your projector only has a VGA adapter.
c) Some Applications Lack Compatibility
If you are using anything other than Airplay, you might have to compromise on quality. Therefore, keep this in mind before your presentations. Also, even if you are using Airplay and a third-party app, you might have a lag or disturbance even with a wired connection. The same applies to using your projector as a home theater. In fact, for watching movies, you need the best home theater projector for cinematic experiences .
If you connect your iPhone to your projector when you game on your phone, it might be time to get a quality projector. Even if you use Airplay, you might get lag because iPhone projectors are not equipped for gaming. They are more suited for small presentations and casual movie watching.
e) Charge Your Phone as You Present
It’s no secret that iPhones, especially well-used ones, have horrible battery life. Additionally, when you use your iOS device to project, it might drain your battery faster.
Of course, the last thing you want during a presentation is your iPhone going off. Plus, it could cut short an important presentation. Therefore it is advisable to charge your battery as you present.
The Bottom Line
You can use your iPhone device as a projector in countless ways. After all, nothing beats watching movies and gaming on a big screen. If you use your iPhone with a projector often, you should invest in an iPhone projector for the best experience.

In this article, we’ll guide you through the steps to use your iPhone to control presentations, providing you with more flexibility and enhancing your delivery.
Why Use Your iPhone to Control Presentations?
Before we delve into the practical steps, let’s explore why using your iPhone as a presentation remote is advantageous:
- Freedom of Movement : With your iPhone as a remote, you can move around the room, engaging with your audience without being tied to your computer.
- Effortless Navigation : Control slides, videos, and other presentation elements seamlessly with the touch of a button on your iPhone screen.
- Professionalism : Using a remote control, such as your iPhone, adds a level of professionalism to your presentations, leaving a lasting impression on your audience.
Step-by-Step Guide: Using Your iPhone as a Presentation Remote
Follow these steps to turn your iPhone into a presentation remote for your Mac or PC:
Step 1: Ensure Your Devices Are Connected to the Same Network
- To use your iPhone as a remote, both your iPhone and the computer you’re presenting from (Mac or PC) must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Step 2: Download a Remote Control App
- On your iPhone, visit the App Store and search for a presentation remote control app. Popular choices include “Keynote Remote” for Mac and “Microsoft Office Remote” for PowerPoint on PC.
Step 3: Install and Open the App
- Download and install the remote control app of your choice. Once installed, open the app on your iPhone.
Step 4: Pair Your iPhone with Your Computer
- Follow the on-screen instructions in the app to pair your iPhone with your computer. Typically, this involves entering a code displayed on your computer into the app on your iPhone.
Step 5: Start Your Presentation
- Open your presentation file (e.g., PowerPoint or Keynote) on your computer.
Step 6: Use Your iPhone as a Remote
- With the app connected, you can now control your presentation using your iPhone. Swipe, tap, or use the virtual controls provided in the app to advance slides, play videos, or navigate your presentation as needed.
Step 7: Enjoy the Freedom of a Wireless Remote

Presentation mode on iphone doesn’t work
(@procarmanuals)

Testing your plugin. During testing I found that presentation mode does not work on iphone 12, 13. Also there are problems with displaying the navigation menu. It is cut down. I need to change the screen orientation to display all menu items.
The page I need help with: [ log in to see the link]
Hi proguid I hope you are fine. I have discussed the scenario with our dev team, and actually, presentation mode is not supported by Apple for iPhones. Regarding the navigation menu, can you please share a screenshot of the issue, you are facing? I checked on my side, but could not replicate it.
https://prnt.sc/_bPNtebeY3ZT
When is it expected to add presentation mode on iphone? I have a similar plugin and it implements full screen view for all devices. If necessary, I can send you a link to the page with that plugin.
Hi, I got an update from our dev team. Well, as we know this support is restricted from Apple on the iPhone, but if you already know a plugin for full-screen view, you can share it with us, and I will forward it to our dev team. Regarding the screen cut of the navigation menu, I already informed our dev team, and they will check and fix it. Thanks
PDF Embedder Premium – This plugin displays the pdf in full screen rather than in presentation mode.
It was more logical to identify the iPhone and remove the view button in presentation mode.

Hello @procarmanuals , Greetings. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. We are looking into this. We will get back to you with an update. Thank you.
Great if this is fixed and I can use your plugin. For now I’m on the lookout for a basic plugin for pdf insertion.
(@paulamit)
Hi @procarmanuals , Greetings. Here I can see our development team is working on this feature. Please allow us time, hope it will be included soon. No worries, we will get back to you with the update very soon. Thank you for your understanding!
I still have questions about optimizing the plugin, but I’ll create a separate ticket for that.
Hi @procarmanuals , Yeah, sure! You can open another ticket for your others queries also. And I will let you know the update soon regarding your previous query. Thank you!
Yes, I’ve already opened other tickets. I’m waiting for a fix.

After the latest update, the iphone stopped displaying pdf files.
(@ashikurwp)
Hi @procarmanuals , Greetings. Thanks for letting us know that. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have successfully reproduced the issue on our end and forwarded it to the development team. Please allow us some time. We will inform you of the update once our DEV team fixes the issue. Thank you.
(@greggardner)
I’ve noticed the same problem with pdf’s suddenly not displaying correctly on iphones. Windows laptops, Android phones work fine. We’re using the free version and mostly really like it for pdf’s.
Hi there, We’ve released a new version of EmbedPress (v3.9.15) with the fix for the iPhone issue. Please update the plugin and check again. Looking forward to hearing back from you. Thank you.

Screen sharing a PowerPoint presentation
There are three methods you can use to screen share a PowerPoint presentation in a Zoom meeting. If you have dual monitors, you can share a slide show while viewing the presenter's notes on another monitor. If you have a single monitor, you can also start the slide show in a window so you have access to other meeting features while sharing your presentation.Â
If you have other participants presenting portions of the PowerPoint, you can give them slide control in Zoom, so that they can control the slideshow on their end, without needing to ask you to move the slides forward. Additionally, PowerPoint slides can be shared as a Virtual Background for a more immersive sharing experience.Â
This article covers:
Dual monitors with slide show and presenter's views
Single-monitor setup with slide show view in a window, single-monitor setup with slide show in full screen.
Follow these steps if you are using multiple monitors and want to present your PowerPoint in one monitor, while viewing the presenter's notes in another monitor.
- Open the PowerPoint file you want to present.
- Start or join a Zoom meeting.
- Select your primary monitor then click Share . If you are not sure which monitor is your primary, select the one that PowerPoint opens in.
- Switch back to Powerpoint and click the Slide Show tab.Â
Follow these steps if you have a single monitor and want to share your PowerPoint presentation in slide show view, but have it contained in a window rather than in full screen. This is useful if you need to access meeting features, such as in-meeting chat or managing participants, while sharing your PowerPoint presentation.
- Click the Slide Show tab and then select Set Up Slide Show .
- Under Show type , select Browsed by an individual (window) and then click OK .
- In Zoom, start or join a meeting .
- Select the PowerPoint window and then click Share .
Note : Be sure you select the PowerPoint window, not the entire screen. Sharing the PowerPoint window only will allow you to use other features without interrupting the view of the presentation.Â
- Select your monitor then click Share .Â

With macOS Sonoma, you can use Presenter Overlay in FaceTime, so participants see you and the screen youâre sharing at the same time. The small overlay places your face in a movable bubble, so itâs easy to be seen while showcasing your work. The large overlay frames your shared screen next to you while you remain prominent, so you can walk, talk, and move in front of it.
You can also use Presenter Overlay with other videoconferencing apps, such as Zoom. Presenter Overlay appears in the Video menu while using compatible apps; if it doesnât appear, itâs not available for that app. For more information on using Presenter Overlay with third-party apps, read the developerâs instructions or explore the appâs menus and settings.
Note: Virtual backgrounds are available in some third-party videoconferencing apps. When Presenter Overlay is turned on, virtual backgrounds arenât displayedâyour actual background shows instead.
Choose a Presenter Overlay size. When youâre sharing your screen , the overlay appears immediately.
Tip: While using Presenter Overlay, you can also turn on video effects such as Studio Light, Center Stage, or reactions.

Engage your audience with presenter modes in Microsoft Teams
Meeting participants tend to be more focused and have a better experience when they see a presenter along with a presentation. An interactive presenter also helps guide an audience along with visual cues while reducing information overload. By using a presenter mode such as Standout , Side-by-side , or Reporter in a Teams meeting instead of sharing screen or window content only, you become a more engaging and integral part of your presentation. The following examples show how each presenter mode appears to an audience:
Use a presenter mode
Under Presenter mode , choose the mode that you want. Also, be sure that your camera is turned on.
To start your presentation, choose to share your S creen or Window on your PC or device.
Note:Â Using interactive presenter modes with PowerPoint Live will soon be available.
Note: Presenter mode customization is available as part of the public preview program and might undergo further changes before being released publicly. To get access to this and other upcoming features, switch to Teams public preview .Â
Presenter modes also allow presenters to customize how their content will be oriented on screen and adjust the size of the video to better fit the presentation. Â
Customize video displayÂ
1. Use the Position buttons in the preview window to direct where videos will appear in relation to the content. Â
2. Enlarge or reduce video size using the Size slider. Slide the circle to the left to reduce the size of a video, or to the right to enlarge the size of a video.Â
More things to know
Interactive presenter modes are only available for the desktop version of Teams.
Meeting attendees using the mobile or online versions of Teams will see a shared window or screen and presenter video separately.
When you use an interactive presenter mode, a small, moveable picture-in-picture window pops up to show you what your audience sees. If you close this window and need it again, restart the presenter mode.
