North Macedonia
Dear Honorable Consul,
My name is Stojan Nikola (passport number: NM22330011). I am a Macedonian citizen who lives in Skopje, Macedonia, where I work as a graphic designer and have an income of DEN 50,000. I am writing this letter because I am applying for a UK tourist visa; I plan to stay in London from May 30, 2023.
It has always been a dream of mine to visit London, so it would mean a lot to me if I would finally make that dream come true. During my time in the UK, I have planned to visit as many tourist attractions as possible, such as the London Eye, the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, and the National Gallery. I also have many friends I have met on social media that I would love to meet.
While in London, I will stay in a hotel I have already booked, and I will also cover my personal expenses. As soon as my ten-day visa expires, I will return to Macedonia since I have a lot of work waiting for me there.
I will attach all the required documents in my visa application form and cover letter. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Thank you for your time!

How to write a cover letter.
A cover letter introduces you to an employer and asks them to think about your application.
It’s a short letter, usually 3 to 5 paragraphs long.
You should always include a cover letter when you apply for a job using a CV.
You can write it as an email if you’re applying online or print a copy to go with a paper application.
When writing a cover letter, let the employer know you’re keen by showing that you’ve researched the company. Learn more about what they do through:
It's important to try to address your cover letter to someone by name. Check you have the details of the person you need to send it to.
You'll need their name and preferred title. For example, ‘Dr’, ‘Mr’, ‘Mrs’, ‘Ms’, and their job title. You should also make sure you have the right company name and address, including postcode.
If the job advert does not include a name you can check the company website. Try to find details of the head of the department, head of human resources or a recruitment manager.
If you still cannot find a name, you can start your letter with ‘Dear Sir or Madam’.
Introduce yourself and explain how you found the advertised job. You can mention the job title, and reference number if there is one.
If you’re asking about any job openings and not applying to a vacancy, tell them what sort of job you’re looking for. Let the employer see how keen you are to work for them.
Highlight the skills and experience you have that match what the employer is looking for.
Convince them that you're enthusiastic about working for them. Let them know you share their work values, culture and style.
If you have gaps in your employment history, you could talk about the skills you gained while you were out of work.
If you’ve mentioned on your CV that you have a disability, you might want to talk more about this in your cover letter. Organisations like Disability UK can give you advice on how to do this. You do not have to mention your disability at this stage if you prefer not to.
You can get more help with specialist advice on finding work if you have a disability.
Thank the employer for considering your application. Let them know that they can get more details from your CV, and tell them you're looking forward to hearing from them.
Let them know how they can best contact you. Make sure your contact details are correct on both your cover letter and CV.
If you know the name of the person you’re writing to, you should end the letter with ‘Yours sincerely’.
If you’ve addressed the letter ‘Dear Sir or Madam’, you should end the letter with ‘Yours faithfully’.

Here are five steps on how to write a cover letter to ensure you get hiring managers in the UK and beyond to look at your CV .
When submitting your job application, always include your cover letter within the body of your email or message. Never attached it as a separate document.
“But why?”, you ask.
Well, you should instantly grab the recruiter’s attention the moment they look at your application. If they have to endure the hassle of opening a document, it slows everything down, and they may not even bother.
Here’s how to include your cover letter in the body of your application message:
To get your cover letter off to a great start, make a brilliant first impression by using the hiring manager or recruiter’s name.
Avoid sounding overly formal or informal, though.
For instance, you could address the recruiter using:
Skip the conventional “Dear Sir or Madam” unless you’re targeting highly formal companies.
Here are a few tips on how to locate the recruiter’s name:
If you have no success in finding their name, don’t stress. Just say “Hi” – that’ll more than do the trick. Aim for a greeting that is both professional and welcoming.
Here are some examples of how to address your cover letter if you have trouble finding their name:
Your cover letter should be a blend of personality and professionalism .
Coming across as too casual can make you sound a little unprofessional while appearing excessively formal can make you look stiff.
Go for a professional, friendly tone.
Begin with something such as, “I hope you’re well” to bring a personal touch.
Your cover letter’s purpose? To entice hiring managers to read your CV . To do this, quickly allude to your relevant skills tailored to the job you’re interested in.
Review the job description and note the essential qualifications and skills the recruiter wants.
Concentrate on these skills in your cover letter and tell them why you’re perfect for the role.
This gives recruiters the confidence they need to consider you for the job.
For instance, you could say:
Your sign-off must be warm. So, say something like “Best regards” or “Kind regards.” Just be yourself while staying polite.
To add a nice finishing touch to your cover letter , add a professional signature at the very bottom.
Doing so helps the person on the other end know how to reach you and gives your cover letter a professional touch.
Here’s what you need to include in your professional sign-off:
If you like, you could also include a couple of extra details:

What to Include in a Cover Letter for a Summer Position
Summer job cover letter sample.
In many ways, applying for a summer job is the same as applying for any position—candidates need to show that they have the required skills that seasonal employers seek. Your cover letter is often the best place to demonstrate your talents to a hiring manager.
Summer jobs are a bit different from regular jobs since they often have:
Hiring managers will have a few specific qualifications and character traits in mind as they review job applications and narrow down their field of applicants to those people they want to interview.
To help you land the interview, your cover letter will need to demonstrate the precise qualifications the hiring manager is seeking.
First, make sure you're familiar with the basics of writing a cover letter. If you’ve never sent one before and have no idea where to start, take a look at this cover letter guide , which provides step-by-step instructions on how to write one, formatting advice, and plenty of samples and examples to browse through.
Next, you'll want to target your cover letter for a summer job. Managers look for the ability to learn quickly. Since summer jobs only last for a few months, companies do not want to invest a lot of time (and money) in training.
Hiring managers are looking for candidates who are quick to pick up tasks, have previous experience in relevant fields, and know how to ask smart questions when they're unsure.
As much as possible in your cover letter, emphasize your prior, relevant experience. Be direct. If you're applying for a job as a waitress, mention any other food service work, for instance, or experience working in any hospitality field.
Another quality that interviewers seek in candidates is responsibility. When the weather's nice outside, it can be tempting to play hooky. Summer workers are often scheduled to work on holiday weekends, which means working while others are on vacation.
Companies want to hire people they can count on to show up on time for scheduled shifts. Think about ways you can show that you are a dedicated, responsible employee in your cover letter.

Cathy Lee Director, Human Resources Acme Diner 123 Business Rd. Business City, NY 54321
Dear Ms. Lee,
I am writing to apply for one of your summer waitstaff openings, which I found listed on your website. I have worked as both a server and a host in restaurants for the past four summers. During the summers of 2016 and 2017, I worked at The Pizza Den, a casual restaurant, and last summer I worked at Perseus, a fine dining establishment. As a result, I am confident I have the experience and skill to serve your customers in the manner they expect.
I am able to work evenings and weekends during the summer months. I am currently a student at Western State University; however, I'm not taking any classes this summer, so I have plenty of time to fill shifts as needed.
Please feel free to contact me by email (henry.applicant@email.com) or cell phone (555-555-5555) if you have any questions.

Don’t know how to make a Cover letter?
No Worries!!! We are here for you.
We are going to give all the information required to make a good cover letter. Before that let’s know what exactly a Cover letter is.
A cover letter is a letter that lets you present y our personnel details and demonstrate why hiring you is a smart decision. It is a brief detail about yourself that includes your personnel details, the position you are hiring for, and explaining why you are the better suit for that position.
It is the first thing your recruiter reads about you. It should be about three paragraphs long.
A Cover Letter is brief while a CV is detailed covering all the information about your skills, academic qualifications, and experience whereas a cover letter gets direct to the topic of why should your employer hire you and why you are the perfect suite for the position you are applying for.
Unlike the bullet-pointed list usually seen in a CV, a cover letter reads like a letter letting you explain why you are the perfect fit for the job in paragraphs.
Cover letters should range from a half-page to one full page . It should never exceed one page in length. If you write a lengthy cover letter, you might drive away the interest of your hiring manager.
Sad? Right?
So, Make it short, Sweet, and Informative. It should contain 3 to 4 paragraphs.
Before writing a cover letter it’s important that you do your research on whom you are sending a letter. Read a job description thoroughly and understand its essence. But sometimes reading thoroughly it’s often not enough. To help you craft a successful cover letter discover more about:
When writing your cover letter, keep it short, and make sure you give the reason why you are suitable for it. You should write it by breaking it down into the following four paragraphs.
In this paragraph, state the position you are applying for and why you are applying for it. A brief intro paragraph consists of the following information.
In this paragraph, mention all your skills relevant to the position you are applying for. Demonstrate how your skills meet the job description. In the process make sure not to baffle. Summarise any additional strengths and explain how these could benefit the company.
In this paragraph, show off the knowledge you have about the company and state. Cover why you are the one for the job, why you want to do this job, and why you have chosen their company. Make them believe you are the perfect candidate for the job.
Sum up your cover letter in this paragraph. Mention your desire of wanting to work with their company. Use the sentences such as I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Thank them for taking the time to read your letter with your sincere heart.
Once you are done with writing your cover letter, read it thoroughly and cut out unnecessary words and sentences. Use formal languages. Avoid repeating things that you have already mentioned in your CV.
Address your cover letter directly to the person who will be reading it. Bear in mind that you’re more likely to receive a reply if you send it to the right person.
If you’re are unable to find the name of your hiring manager, you can always use the following to address them:
However, it is always a good idea to address them by their name. Only if you cannot find their name, you can go for Sir/Madam.
You should sign off your cover letter the way you have addressed it.
If you include a named contact, sign off ‘Yours sincerely’. If you use a general greeting, end your cover letter with ‘Yours faithfully’.
This is the way to write a good cover letter. When you are applying for UK Seasonal Work Visa make sure you send your cover letter along with your CV to the hiring manager or your recruiter.
An attractive CV and cover letter are what open the door to the United Kingdom for you.
Make sure you spend a good time making both of them.
Best Wishes!!! to all of you.
