Per Trump, whoever it is will “most likely” be at Thursday’s CNN presidential debate in Atlanta, the first against his Democrat opponent President Joe Biden.

“ They'll be there ,” he said. “I think we have a lot of people coming.”

In an interview for TIME’s April cover story , the former President claimed that many people have been asking to be his Vice President.

“Everybody wants to work for me. And a lot of people say, ‘Oh, would he work for me? Oh, would he be a Vice President? Would he accept?’ Vice President? I’ve got everybody in the nation calling me begging me to be vice president,” he told TIME.

Narrowing down the options, though, potential vice presidential candidates include North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum, Ben Carson , and Senators Marco Rubio, Tim Scott, and J.D. Vance . Congressman Byron Donalds and Congresswoman Elise Stefanik are also widely believed to be on Trump's shortlist.

In 2016, Trump strategically chose Mike Pence as his running mate—a fiscal and social conservative who comforted the more traditional Republicans and widened Trump’s support base. Rellana, Twin Moon Knight presents a completely different kind of challenge in Elden Ring ’s Shadow of the Erdtree DLC compared to what you faced in Belurat . Rellana is swift and merciless, with brutal, near-unbreakable combos, high defenses, and some deadly magic — but has one big weakness.

Rellana is waiting around in the Ensis Moongazing Grounds at the eastern edge of Castle Ensis . She’s a mandatory boss and impossible to miss if you want to make it to Scadu Altus this way, unless you skip Castle Ensis by taking the long way around via Ellac River. There’s a site of grace just outside her arena, as with all bosses, and two NPC summons: Dryleaf Dane and Needle Knight Leda.

Bear in mind that every NPC or human ally summoned will increase the boss’ health, but having both on hand also makes for a useful set of distractions while you learn how Rellana works — by watching her cut your allies down.

Rellana weaknesses and how to prepare

Picking the best weapon for Rellana is something you’ll probably have to experiment with as you get used to her moveset to see what works best for your style. Heavy weapons can knock off a sizeable chunk of her HP, but the trouble is it’s tough to land a hit with one. Rellana moves quickly in general, and she can dodge heavy attacks and follow up with a strong flurry of counter strikes.

I struggled to land more than two hits at a time even with a katana. However, fighting styles with straight swords and light greatswords are lithe enough to let you execute a few attacks — even a well-timed Ash of War skill — and retreat while Rellana recovers. Milady , which you can find near the Miquella’s Cross at the Castle Ensis checkpoint, is a strong choice for this fight.

Use a melee weapon that scales with intelligence or faith if you’re running a magic build, and bear in mind that spells will do little good against Rellana, as she has some of the highest magic defense of any enemy. Magic does have its place in this fight, though, as she’s prone to Frostbite .

She’s also weak to lightning , but it’s rather more difficult to get a good lightning build together if you don’t already have one. Frozen Lightning Spear takes advantage of both weaknesses, though since Rellana tends to dodge sideways, she often places herself out of reach of the incantation’s initial hit and its follow-up explosion. This one works best if Rellana is distracted with an NPC summon or your Spirit Ash .

An easier way to inflict Frostbite is with Glintstone Icecrag . It has high Frostbite scaling, and unlike Ranni’s Dark Moon, it tracks your target foe and has a faster casting animation. Its low intelligence requirement of 15 means even strength or dexterity builds can use this spell. Rellana won’t take much damage from Icecrag itself, even if you have a high intelligence stat, but it’ll trigger the Frostbite status after about four or five hits. Frostbite deals heavy damage and increases the amount of damage Rellana takes from magic and might for roughly 15 to 20 seconds.

You can also skip the spells and use Freezing Grease on your weapon instead, though Frostbite buildup happens more slowly if you can’t land several hits in a row.

Either way, you’ll know it worked if you see a frost cloud hovering around Rellana. You can potentially get away with just using Frostbite to wear her down If your Spirit Ash is aggressive enough to keep her distracted for most of the battle. However, when Frostbite is active, you should try to land some hits with your weapon and take advantage of the ailment while it lasts.

As always, make sure your weapon and Spirit Ash are upgraded as high as you can get them. If you’ve run out of Smithing Stones or Glovewort, take a trip back to The Lands Between to pick up some Bell Bearings for the Maiden Husks.

Rellana’s attacks are fast and fluid, and she strings multiple combos together. She sometimes changes which attacks she uses in the middle and sometimes even skipping them completely to deliver one powerful blow when you aren’t expecting it.

As we suggested with the Divine Beast Dancing Lion boss, you may want to consider recording footage of your fight so you can look back later and watch how she behaves without trying not to die.

In general, you can expect three parts to Rellana’s combos.

  • The first is an opening strike, usually a single swipe from one of her swords.
  • Then comes a follow-up from the other sword, which might be an upward slash or an overhand strike. Rellana may add several of these in the middle of her combo, or a downward slash from both swords, or even a little twirling slash.
  • The combo ends with a strong finisher, as she crosses both swords before bringing them down in a powerful thrust.

Rellana can cancel her attacks and switch to a different combo move and seamlessly swap between targeting a summon or you. It all sounds a bit overwhelming — and it feels overwhelming to play, initially — but Rellana’s attacks have one thing in common: They’re all forward-facing. Your first instinct might be to back up and get away when she starts her barrage of attacks, but dodging forward puts you out of harm’s way more effectively.

Still, Rellana pivots quickly, so you won’t have much time to rest after you get away unless she gets distracted by something else.

Her other attacks include a strong thrust followed by a second thrust or a slash from her other sword. Rellana also summons Carian swords that fly at you after a few seconds, similar to what the Carian Knight earlier in Castle Ensis did, and will sometimes fire off an arc of magic energy at you. Dodge forward or to the side when you see her hand and sword glow blue.

The fallen Carian princess also has a devious trick that makes most strong attacks and elaborate weapon skills obsolete. When you start performing one of those attacks, Rellana sweeps around at a 270-degree angle — that’s three-quarters of a circle — and hits you with an upward strike from one of her swords. She’ll sometimes follow that with a downward strike as well. Your skill misses, and you get a big chunk of your HP taken off as well.

Stick to normal attacks when Rellana is facing you, and only opt for something fancier if she’s occupied with another character.

After a few minutes, Rellana will summon a Carian Greatsword and perform a vertical slash, which you can dodge sideways to avoid, followed a second later by a sweeping horizontal slash. Dodging forward or sideways works for this one, but if you miss the right timing, you’ll take heavy damage.

Things kick off even more once Rellana’s HP drops by about half, and now’s the time to summon your Spirit Ash if you haven’t already. She pauses for a moment and ignites her right-hand sword with magic and her left-hand sword with fire, and she’ll follow that either with a firestorm that spreads in a diagonal pattern around her or with a flurry of sword strikes that deal fire damage if they connect.

If it’s the firestorm, make sure you’re not standing on a flame spot before it erupts. If it’s the sword strikes, try dodging them.

Rellana’s basic attack combos are unchanged in this phase, though they can deal magic and fire damage if they connect. She does have some new tricks as well, though.

Her sword summons are more like Greatblade Phalanx than Glintblade Phalanx now, but even though they’ll deal more damage if they hit you, you can still dodge them in the same way as before. Rellana will also use her Carian sword slash skill more frequently and aggressively, often firing several arcs in quick succession.

Rellana will also occasionally thrust both swords forward and create a small tunnel of flame. Dodge sideways from it, and use the few seconds while she finishes the animation to land one or two hits.

Once Rellana’s HP reaches about a third of its maximum total, she will occasionally leap into the air and summon two moons. One moon crashes into the ground after a second or two and sends a shockwave of magic out, and the second moon follows right after. Then, Rellana herself crashes back onto the battlefield and sends an even bigger magic wave rippling out.

These moves happen quickly, and not only are they difficult to dodge, but getting hit by all three — or even just Rellana’s final descent — is enough to send you back to the nearest site of grace. Given the nature of the attacks as circular waves, your best bet for avoiding them is dodging forward right when they connect with the ground. Alternatively, if you’re very quick and Rellana isn’t in the arena’s center, you could retreat to the room’s far edge and avoid damage that way.

You might also get lucky and avoid this final trick of hers altogether, if you press the attack hard enough and keep Frostbite going.

Defeating Rellana earns you her Remembrance , which you can give to Enia at Roundtable Hold in exchange for Rellana’s Glintblade Swords or her twin moon sorcery.

Slideshows are an intuitive way to share complex ideas with an audience, although they're dull and frustrating when poorly executed. Here are some tips to make your Microsoft PowerPoint presentations sing while avoiding common pitfalls.

define a goal

It all starts with identifying what we're trying to achieve with the presentation. Is it informative, a showcase of data in an easy-to-understand medium? Or is it more of a pitch, something meant to persuade and convince an audience and lead them to a particular outcome?

It's here where the majority of these presentations go wrong with the inability to identify the talking points that best support our goal. Always start with a goal in mind: to entertain, to inform, or to share data in a way that's easy to understand. Use facts, figures, and images to support your conclusion while keeping structure in mind (Where are we now and where are we going?).

I've found that it's helpful to start with the ending. Once I know how to end a presentation, I know how best to get to that point. I start by identifying the takeaway---that one nugget that I want to implant before thanking everyone for their time---and I work in reverse to figure out how best to get there.

Your mileage, of course, may vary. But it's always going to be a good idea to put in the time in the beginning stages so that you aren't reworking large portions of the presentation later. And that starts with a defined goal.

avoid walls of text

A slideshow isn't supposed to include everything. It's an introduction to a topic, one that we can elaborate on with speech. Anything unnecessary is a distraction. It makes the presentation less visually appealing and less interesting, and it makes you look bad as a presenter.

This goes for text as well as images. There's nothing worse, in fact, than a series of slides where the presenter just reads them as they appear. Your audience is capable of reading, and chances are they'll be done with the slide, and browsing Reddit, long before you finish. Avoid putting the literal text on the screen, and your audience will thank you.

use better fonts

Right off the bat, we're just going to come out and say that Papyrus and Comic Sans should be banned from all PowerPoint presentations, permanently. Beyond that, it's worth considering the typeface you're using and what it's saying about you, the presenter, and the presentation itself.

Consider choosing readability over aesthetics, and avoid fancy fonts that could prove to be more of a distraction than anything else. A good presentation needs two fonts: a serif and sans-serif. Use one for the headlines and one for body text, lists, and the like. Keep it simple. Veranda, Helvetica, Arial, and even Times New Roman are safe choices. Stick with the classics and it's hard to botch this one too badly.

There reaches a point where bullet points become less of a visual aid and more of a visual examination.

Bullet points should support the speaker, not overwhelm his audience. The best slides have little or no text at all, in fact. As a presenter, it's our job to talk through complex issues, but that doesn't mean that we need to highlight every talking point.

Instead, think about how you can break up large lists into three or four bullet points. Carefully consider whether you need to use more bullet points, or if you can combine multiple topics into a single point instead. And if you can't, remember that there's no one limiting the number of slides you can have in a presentation. It's always possible to break a list of 12 points down into three pages of four points each.

avoid transitions

Animation, when used correctly, is a good idea. It breaks up slow-moving parts of a presentation and adds action to elements that require it. But it should be used judiciously.

Adding a transition that wipes left to right between every slide or that animates each bullet point in a list, for example, starts to grow taxing on those forced to endure the presentation. Viewers get bored quickly, and animations that are meant to highlight specific elements quickly become taxing.

That's not to say that you can't use animations and transitions, just that you need to pick your spots. Aim for no more than a handful of these transitions for each presentation. And use them in spots where they'll add to the demonstration, not detract from it.

use visuals

Sometimes images tell a better story than text can. And as a presenter, your goal is to describe points in detail without making users do a lot of reading. In these cases, a well-designed visual, like a chart, might better convey the information you're trying to share.

The right image adds visual appeal and serves to break up longer, text-heavy sections of the presentation---but only if you're using the right images. A single high-quality image can make all the difference between a success and a dud when you're driving a specific point home.

When considering text, don't think solely in terms of bullet points and paragraphs. Tables, for example, are often unnecessary. Ask yourself whether you could present the same data in a bar or line chart instead.

find a color palette

Color is interesting. It evokes certain feelings and adds visual appeal to your presentation as a whole. Studies show that color also improves interest, comprehension, and retention. It should be a careful consideration, not an afterthought.

You don't have to be a graphic designer to use color well in a presentation. What I do is look for palettes I like, and then find ways to use them in the presentation. There are a number of tools for this, like Adobe Color , Coolors , and ColorHunt , just to name a few. After finding a palette you enjoy, consider how it works with the presentation you're about to give. Pastels, for example, evoke feelings of freedom and light, so they probably aren't the best choice when you're presenting quarterly earnings that missed the mark.

It's also worth mentioning that you don't need to use every color in the palette. Often, you can get by with just two or three, though you should really think through how they all work together and how readable they'll be when layered. A simple rule of thumb here is that contrast is your friend. Dark colors work well on light backgrounds, and light colors work best on dark backgrounds.

Spend some time in the Slide Sorter before you finish your presentation. By clicking the four squares at the bottom left of the presentation, you can take a look at multiple slides at once and consider how each works together. Alternatively, you can click "View" on the ribbon and select "Slide Sorter."

Are you presenting too much text at once? Move an image in. Could a series of slides benefit from a chart or summary before you move on to another point?

It's here that we have the opportunity to view the presentation from beyond the single-slide viewpoint and think in terms of how each slide fits, or if it fits at all. From this view, you can rearrange slides, add additional ones, or delete them entirely if you find that they don't advance the presentation.

The difference between a good presentation and a bad one is really all about preparation and execution. Those that respect the process and plan carefully---not only the presentation as a whole, but each slide within it---are the ones who will succeed.

This brings me to my last (half) point: When in doubt, just buy a template and use it. You can find these all over the web, though Creative Market and GraphicRiver are probably the two most popular marketplaces for this kind of thing. Not all of us are blessed with the skills needed to design and deliver an effective presentation. And while a pre-made PowerPoint template isn't going to make you a better presenter, it will ease the anxiety of creating a visually appealing slide deck.

It’s the day of your big presentation. You’ve spent the last few weeks fine-tuning every detail. You rehearsed last night, and you were flawless. You’ve never felt more prepared.

But then you hear something that makes your stomach drop: “Sorry, but we’re going to need you to keep this to 10 minutes.” You’d planned for 20. How can you possibly pull it off in half the time?

Your first instinct is to just try and talk faster and maybe breeze past a less-important point or two–hopefully you can still cram in everything else, even if it’s a little rushed?

Nope, wrong strategy . Nobody can be effective speaking in hyperspeed. Here’s what to do instead.

Give Your Conclusion First

If you have only one takeaway from this article, make sure it’s this one: Always state your conclusion first. Running out of time before getting your key message across is devastating. So don’t wait. Get to the point right away, no matter what.

You may worry that your core message is kind of complicated and takes a little bit of background to spell out. Even so, get it out there first and then use your remaining time to fill in the context. If you can’t put your finger on what that essential conclusion actually is, though, you may have a bigger problem (but here’s how to solve it ).

Speak Either in “Layers” or “Modules”

Sometimes you may have a hunch that things could change and your talk might get cut short–which is great, because it gives you a chance to line up some contingency plans. There are two methods you can use to design your presentation with flexibility in mind so you can still manage to get through everything, even if you’re given less time:

This approach simply means designing your presentation from the inside out. The inner “layer” is your key message—the most important takeaway you want your audience to leave with.

The next layer consists of your other major points that directly support that key message. Then you have the details that support those key points—which together make up a third layer.

Think of it kind of like dressing for cold weather: If you get too warm, you can always take off a layer. Similarly, if you get short on time, you can take off one of the outer layers. What’s really important is that you communicate your inner layers effectively.

For example, let’s say you’re presenting about a project you’d like to get approval for. With the layering approach, you’d first deliver your key message about seeking approval for your project, followed by the supporting arguments and fundamental issues—the main benefits to approving the project, the outcomes it will deliver, and the challenges you may face. If you’re pressed for time, you’d simply leave out any additional details beyond that and stick just to those key points.

Modularizing

This means designing your presentation in “modules” that you can eliminate if necessary. While you still give your key message first, you don’t share all of your key points right away (even if they’re all relatively equally important).

Instead, you leave out some of the points altogether, depending on how much time you have. The thinking here is that it’s better to do a great job spelling out just one supporting argument, than doing a mediocre job rushing through three of them.

Think of it like going to dinner: You may want to skip either appetizers or dessert if you’re worried you’ll be late for the movie you bought tickets for.

So to continue the example from earlier, you’d deliver your key message, followed by your first key point (the reasons why the project should be approved) along with any relevant details. Then, if you have time, you can go over your next key point (intended outcomes of the project), along with those details. If you’re pressed for time, you’d drop the “challenges” point entirely.

Adjust Your Slides Accordingly (or Make Multiple Versions)

Finally, if you sense your presentation time might get cut down, you should design your slide deck to adapt—reflecting either a layered or modular approach, depending on which one you’d prefer taking. Or, you could just save a couple different versions of your deck so you can pick the right one depending on the circumstances.

At any event, when your time gets cut short and you’re forced to give an abbreviated presentation, having your slides out of order is going frustrate you as well as your audience. It’s much better to create either a few different slide decks or one that will work in any situation. While time is one factor you may not be able to control, how you use it is.

Following a setback against Afghanistan that left Australia speechless at Arnos Vale Ground, captain Mitchell Marsh has issued a warning to his teammates ahead of their final clash in the Super 8 against unbeaten India at the 2024 T20 World Cup. The spirited performance from Afghanistan left Australia in a peculiar situation. Australia will now step into Daren Sammy Cricket Ground in Saint Lucia to face India in a must-win game. Things didn't fall in place for Australia as they looked to sneak away a win and seal their place in the semi-final.

Catches were dropped, and a couple of misfields led to boundaries. Ashton Agar misjudging the ball as it went away for a four was one such example of their struggles.

It eventually came back to haunt Australia as a couple of errors in the field allowed Afghanistan to put 148/6 on the board.

"They got 20 too many. And to be honest, they played a really good game of cricket. We were outplayed tonight," Marsh added.

Marsh won the toss and decided to bowl. Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan admitted that they wanted to bat because the record indicated chasing a target on the surface was a taxing job.

"We did think about it. A lot of teams have bowled first at this World Cup to get an idea of the surface. Don't think we lost at the toss. It was an off-night for us in the field, and we own that. We'll be back next game. It wasn't an easy wicket, but both teams played on this surface," Marsh concluded.

With their fate hanging in balance, Australia will face India at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground, Saint Lucia, on Monday to fight for their semi-final spot.

Revisit Your Main Goal

Go back and revisit the main goal of your presentation. What is it that you want to accomplish as a result of your PowerPoint? You should be able to answer this question in one sentence. If you cannot, you need to focus more closely on your main goal. The best way to define your main goal is to ask yourself: “ If my audience only takes away one thing from my presentation, what would I want that to be?â€

Narrow Your Speaking Points

One of the most common reasons that PowerPoint presentations become too long is because the presenter includes way too much information. The fact is, people are likely only going to remember a few things from your presentation, so narrow down your speaking points. A good rule of thumb is to follow the Rule of 3 which states that we remember things in threes. This means that you should have no more than three speaking points for each of your main points. So, once you have decided on your main point, come up with no more than three supporting points. 

Break Your PowerPoint Into Sections

Similar to the Rule of 3, your presentation should be divided into three main sections: an intro, a body with no more than 3 points, and a conclusion.  Anything outside of these sections could probably be eliminated from the presentation altogether. Then, look at each section and tighten it where possible. Get rid of unnecessary pictures, videos, or animations. Keep your points brief, and limit your examples to just one. 

Once you have trimmed the fat from your PowerPoint, it’s time to begin practicing. You may not hit your target time with the first rehearsal, but you will gain a better sense of how much time you are spending. Plan to only spend a certain amount of time on each section and ask for feedback on which information or slides could be cut out. Then, keep practicing until you successfully deliver your presentation within the allotted time.

Something’s Rotten About the Justices Taking So Long on Trump’s Immunity Case

For those looking for the hidden hand of politics in what the Supreme Court does, there’s plenty of reason for suspicion on Donald Trump’s as-yet-undecided immunity case given its urgency. There are, of course, explanations that have nothing to do with politics for why a ruling still hasn’t been issued. But the reasons to think something is rotten at the court are impossible to ignore.

On Feb. 28, the justices agreed to hear Mr. Trump’s claim that he is immune from prosecution on charges that he plotted to subvert the 2020 election. The court scheduled oral arguments in the case for the end of April. That eight-week interval is much quicker than the ordinary Supreme Court briefing process, which usually extends for at least 10 weeks . But it’s considerably more drawn out than the schedule the court established earlier this year on a challenge from Colorado after that state took Mr. Trump off its presidential primary ballot. The court agreed to hear arguments on the case a mere month after accepting it and issued its decision less than a month after the argument. Mr. Trump prevailed, 9-0.

Nearly two months have passed since the justices heard lawyers for the former president and for the special counsel’s office argue the immunity case. The court is dominated by conservatives nominated by Republican presidents. Every passing day further delays a potential trial on charges related to Mr. Trump’s efforts to remain in office after losing the 2020 election and his role in the events that led to the storming of the Capitol; indeed, at this point, even if the court rules that Mr. Trump has limited or no immunity, it is unlikely a verdict will be delivered before the election.

The immunity case is not the only big case hanging fire. Some two dozen remain undecided that were argued even before the April 25 oral argument over Mr. Trump’s immunity. A case on gun rights for domestic abusers under a restraining order was argued in November; cases involving the power of federal agencies and a multibillion-dollar settlement for opioid victims were heard in December and January; the court also has yet to decide whether upwind states must cut emissions that affect the air quality in downwind states. That case was argued in February.

The court is a busy place, though the justices are completing decisions at the second slowest rate since the 1946 term, according to a recent article in The Wall Street Journal. The court tries to wrap up its business for the term that began in October by the end of June. It’s not shocking that cases argued later in the term end up being decided later, especially because by the end of April, when the immunity case was heard, the court was still working to finish cases argued months earlier. April was also among the court’s busiest months: The justices heard 10 cases.

But these seemingly mundane, process explanations overlook some of the particulars in the immunity case. Mr. Trump’s lawyers put together a set of arguments that are so outlandish they shouldn’t take much time to dispatch. Among them is the upside-down claim that, because the Constitution specifies that an officer who is convicted in an impeachment proceeding may subsequently face a criminal trial, the Constitution actually requires an impeachment conviction before there is any criminal punishment.

What makes a great presentation?

Before you get started, it pays to know what makes an excellent presentation.

1. It informs your audience by providing reliable information.

People want to be informed. They want to learn something new. For this reason, you should look for reputable links. The information should be as recent as possible, and at least less than a year old.

Your research work doesn’t need to be from online sources. You could also cite printed sources from the library. Double-check all of your sources and make sure they have substantial research and statistics to back them up.

2. It persuades your audience to take action.

A presentation should be persuasive. This is especially true for business presentations and product demos. You might also want to appeal to your readers through emotions.

3. It educates your audience and empowers them to make informed decisions.

Presentations are, by nature, educational. You might be introducing your audience to a new idea, product, or service.

4. It instructs your audience in a clear, compelling way.

A presentation should be instructional. Organize your presentation as clear and concise as possible, so your audience will be able to digest your information more effectively.

  • Stick to 2-3 colors. Joint research by Adobe and the University of Toronto revealed that most people prefer a combination of 2-3 colors. A good rule of thumb is not to use more than four colors. 7. Focus your audience’s attention using data visualization.

Presenting statistics and percentages in writing can be a challenge to use in your presentation. For this reason, consider data visualization.

For example, graphs and charts are often used to highlight comparisons in data. You can also use them to inform your audience of a specific data point.

It’s worth noting that a poorly-designed graph or chart could ruin your presentation if proven false or shabbily done. Make sure that your data are correct, and your diagrams or charts are correctly labeled. Don’t just use pie charts because they look hip and smart. For example, don’t just state facts or figures about the dangers of not investing in their retirement. Instead, share the story of someone you know who failed to plan for their retirement, nudging your audience towards making their own conclusions or insights.

The researchers wanted to learn whether the use of visuals is superior to text (a bulleted list to be specific) in communicating the strategy of the financial services branch of an international car manufacturer.

The researchers concluded the following:

“Subjects who were exposed to a graphic representation of the strategy paid significantly more attention to, agreed more with, and better recalled the strategy than did subjects who saw a (textually identical) bulleted list version.”

Instead of using bullet points, consider using icons or visuals.

13. Choose fonts that are easier to read.

The quality of your font could affect your audience’s reaction to your presentation. Don’t just use the first standard font that pops up in your presentation editor.

Your font should match the mood and intent of your presentation. If you want your presentation to appear casual, choose a font that gives off a similar feeling.

14. Use contrast in your presentation.

Check for contrast between your texts and presentation background to ensure readability. Make it a point to distinguish one from the other.

It’s also worth noting that you are going to show your presentation to a group of people. Depending on the seating arrangement, viewers at the back may find it hard to read your presentation. Make sure that your fonts are of the appropriate size. That way, none of your audience members will have to struggle reading your slides.

White space , also known as negative space, is the space between the lines of texts and visuals in your presentation.  It doesn’t have to be  white  as it can also take the color of your presentation’s background. Think of white space as “empty space”. 

It helps improves readability and ensures that your graphics and texts are clear and legible in your presentation. 

20. End your presentation with an excellent call-to-action.

Call-to-action statements are an integral part of any presentation. They compel your audience to take action, and it makes your presentation more interactive.

How do I make a video presentation longer

So it all starts last week when my social studies teacher assigns us a project to make a 20-minute satirical video. We made the script and we had 2 days to film. Turns out it takes more than 2 days to film a 20-minute video because of multiple cuts. Everybody in the class gets pissed and we have to present anyways. Everybody's videos were like 8 minutes. Mine is 8 right now and in the last one going. I'm aiming for like 12 minutes to get an alpha grade. Another group did like 10 minutes of trivia so they could extend. I would like to do that, but I don't want it to seem like I copied their idea.
