Credit Limit

• All postpaid plans come with a maximum cap on the outstanding charges incurred.
• The accumulated charges include unpaid amounts from the previous billing month and usage charges incurred this month. You will be notified when this amount reaches 80%, 90%, 95% and 100% of your limit.
• Your services will be suspended when the cap has been reached. You can unlock them by paying all your dues.
• The exact amount of the maximum cap is determined after your account has been verified during the purchase or change process. It may be periodically revised by Etisalat based on your usage and payment history.
• You can adjust your plan’s credit limit on My Etisalat UAE app or our Self-Care portal to control your spending.

• Are the unlimited minutes really unlimited? Yes, they are unlimited. However, please note that unlimited minutes are applicable to specific plans such as: AED 325, AED 600 and AED 900 plans.
• What type of calls can I make with the unlimited national minutes? Unlimited national minutes are valid for calls within the UAE only (to fixed or mobile lines). They are not applicable to roaming.
• What type of calls can I make with the unlimited international minutes? Unlimited international minutes can be used for international outgoing calls, from the UAE for the covered destinations. They are not applicable for roaming.
• What destinations can I call with my unlimited international minutes? For BMP 600 and BMP 900 plans, you can use the IDD minutes from the unlimited plans to call any of the 165 destinations in annexure 1. For all other plans, international minutes are applicable to the top 190 destinations. Visit du.ae/idd for the complete list of destinations.
• As an eligible customer, you can choose to subscribe to the plans with either a 12-month contract or without a contract.
• For plans with a 12-month contract, if you cancel before the contract ends, you will be charged a foreclosure fee (one monthly charge of your subscribed plan).
• For plans without a contract, no foreclosure fee will be charged.
• Do all the plans come with an Internet Calling Pack? All plans above AED 200 will include a free Internet Calling subscription.
• Roaming benefits are inclusive only on the AED 900 plan. For all other plans, you are required to subscribe to the roaming service and data or voice bundles.
• Roaming minutes and data benefits can be used in our preferred countries and our roaming partner networks. Visit du.ae/preferredcountries for the full list.
• Bundles with incoming minutes only cover roaming-call-forward charges. Inter operator termination charges [IOT] are not covered
• Incoming and outgoing cover both incoming (roaming-call-forward charges) and outgoing calls. Inter operator termination charges [IOT] are not covered.
• After consuming your plan’s roaming minutes, if any, incoming calls, outgoing calls and data are all charged as per standard rates or Easy Roaming rates, if your Easy Roaming service is active.
• Roaming minutes’ packages are not built on real-time billing; hence consumption of the benefits cannot be tracked and there will be no usage notification, including on full consumption.
• Roaming usage does not include Lebanon and in-flight operators.
• There are some LTE handsets designed to send and receive minor data sessions, even though the mobile data feature is turned off. To avoid these excess data charges, either buy a roaming data bundle or change your device’s network from LTE to 3G
• Non-preferred networks will have standard tariff set out on our website at du.ae/businessroaming . Please select the country from the dropdown list to check the applicable rates.
• We may, at a discretion and without notice, remove or modify any preferred roaming countries and operators. We recommend that, prior to travel, you check the current list on du.ae/businessroaming so you are fully aware on which countries we have roaming partners in and who those operators are.
• What is the charging method? All in-bundle and out-of-bundle charges will be per minute.

• Can I subscribe to device offers with the Business Mobile Plans? Yes, our device instalment offers are available on top of the Business Mobile Plans. Please contact our sales channels for the latest offers on devices.
• Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan within the Business Mobile Plans? You can upgrade to a higher rate plan without any foreclosure fees. However, you have to pay the foreclosure fee for the downgrade.
• Will I still be charged the full monthly fee if my line got suspended within my contract? Yes. Since the plans are associated with a Minimum Term, you will be charged the monthly recurring fee during the suspension.
• What happens after the Minimum Term is complete? You will continue to enjoy your Business Mobile Plan benefits. If you choose to cancel your line after the end of your Minimum Term, no termination fee will apply on your plan. However, if you still have other active contracts such as a device that has not completed its Minimum Term, then a fee will apply.
• Can I still get one of the Business Mobile Plans, if I am an existing Business mobile customer? Yes.
• What is the activation fee? A fee of AED 55 is applicable for the activation of your SIM card.

In business, words without execution is useless. Any goals or plans must be accompanied with realistic strategies and actions. For without them, they will remain empty words better reserve for literature.

Business leaders say planning a strategy is 25 percent of the task. The rest is execution. And, so it goes without saying that, if not properly carried out, a plan, no matter how great and exciting it may sound, will not make things work.

This is not to say, however, that we need to reinvent the wheel – rather, we need to keep it rolling to get the business going. In this context, the thing keeping the wheel going is the business plan.

Here are the keywords: 

Some confuse a business plan with a goal, which actually are intertwined, experts say. The business plan sets the direction; the goal identifies the targets to be met at every step of the way. This inter-relationship does away with the old practice of creating a plan and expecting things to happen on their own. Goals make for a well-defined and structured assignment of tasks for each team member and as well identifies areas that may have been overlooked in the process of brainstorming.

Priorities and support measures

It is important that entrepreneurs know where their priorities are. Equally essential is keeping these priorities attainable and by this, the experts mean steering clear from setting too many so as not to strain resources – human and logistical. Lastly, priorities need support measures to make it happen.

An example would be expanding sales and marketing operations at a particular area based on research results. That being a priority would need logistical and manpower support. In tangible terms that could mean setting up a satellite office at the target expansion area, increasing presence both physically and on social media, putting knowledgeable and experienced people on board and rolling out a time-bound marketing plan.

It doesn’t end there. KPIs are assessed and evaluated regularly to identify areas that need to be improved and areas that are working well.

This practice ensures that the plan is actually continuously being harnessed and developed based on KPI assessment results, which identify what component of the overall plan is hamstringing the project, and thus needs adjusting or improving.

Communication

The importance of regular communication is immense. In this age of global digitalization and connectivity, it is impossible to fail in conducting regular communication with the employees and key people in the loop.

Communications ensures everyone in the team doing his role as regards the plan is on the same page – everybody is moving along; nobody is left behind. It synthesizes results and make possible a quick reaction in cases where a particular component of the business plan is hampered or even fails.

Key product of regular executive committee evaluations is a one-page summary of the business plan’s progress for the employees. This is important in that it gives them a sense of being part of the whole undertaking and thus keeps them motivated and inspired. Just be conscious not to give out too much detailed information, especially company secrets.

Who can subscribe?

Any Home eLife customer (including 1P, DEL, 2P or 3P) of Etisalat in the UAE with a valid and active fixed telephone line can subscribe to this offer. There are no restrictions and you can subscribe at any time of the month. This plan will not be available for any business accounts.

What are the countries I can call in the Ultimate World Calling Plan?

Group 1: You get 2000 minutes for calling to 33 countries for AED 100/month Group 2: You get 2000 minutes for calling to 54 countries for AED 200/month

What are the charges for this plan?

You can choose one from 2 international calling plans Group 1: You get 2000 minutes for calling to 33 countries for AED 100/ month Group 2: You get 2000 minutes for calling to 54 countries for AED 200/ month 2000 minutes is just a fair usage limit, and you could continue to make international calls even after this usage limit. You will be charged as per normal standard IDD rates if you call countries outside the specified list or call over the set usage limit of the plan.

How can I subscribe?

You can subscribe through any of the below channels:

• Dial 125 from your home phone and subscribe to the desired plan directly.
• Call 800101 and place a request to our Customer Care agent to subscribe to the plan

Will I have to pay the full price even if I subscribe during the month?

You can subscribe at any time during the month. The charges and minutes for the first month will be on pro rata basis depending on the day of subscription. For example, if you subscribe to Group 1 plan on the 15th of the month, you will receive 1,000 minutes and charged only 50 AED instead of AED 100.

Does the plan have a contract?

Ultimate World Calling Plans does not have any contract that bind you down with exit charges. You can subscribe and you can cancel at any time. Exiting during the month is possible, but the monthly rental will be retrieved for the full month. Therefore, we suggest you to use the service till month end and then exit.

Can I change the group of countries during the month?

Yes, you can. However, if you have any active International calling offer then following will take place

• The old international calling plan will be removed, the relevant rental will be charged in full and allowance will be removed immediately
• New international calling plan will be activated. New Rental and allowance are prorated for the subscription month. From the subsequent month, the plan will be auto renewed with full benefits.

How do I find out about my usage?

All ultimate world calling plan subscribers will receive an email to the registered email address and SMSs to the registered mobile number whenever you cross 80%, 90% and 100% of the predefined fair usage limits. Therefore, we suggest you to keep your email address and mobile number updated in our systems and confirm them with our Customer Care agents to ensure that these messages are delivered properly. However there are multiple ways by which you could know your real time IDD usage:

• Dial 125 from your home phone and find the usage.
• Call 800101 and the customer care agent will be able to help you with the usage details.
• Visit any Etisalat business center and the sales agent will help you with usage details.
• Etisalat UAE Mobile App will reflect the IDD usage under the subscriber Ultimate calling plan.

Will I have to re-subscribe if I upgrade or downgrade my connection during a month?

The plan will automatically move into the new product in case you migrate your eLife connection. There will be no extra action required from your end.

Can I use this service along with other value-added services on voice?

The Ultimate World Calling plan will co-exist with any other value-added service and other products as long as they don’t have any international minutes component. For example, it will still run on the account along with VAS, F2M Bundles etc. However, the existing international minutes products (for example, 1 Fils per Second) will be cancelled when you subscribe to the Ultimate World Calling plan.

Can I extend the Ultimate World Calling Plan to my mobile number?

No. This plan and the associated international minutes is only available to calling from Etisalat home phone. It cannot be availed on any of our mobile plans.

The Microsoft cofounder said in 2022 that he "will move down and eventually off of the list of the world's richest people" as he plans to give "virtually" all of it to his philanthropic organization.

Gates is worth $153 billion, according to Bloomberg's Billionaires Index, and is one of only a handful of moguls to reach centibillionaire status.

Gates has made some lavish purchases over the years: He owns a Washington estate worth $183.5 million, a private airplane, and a luxury car collection. But these indulgences make up only a fraction of his massive fortune, and Gates isn't known to throw his money around.

Gates has also given money to charitable causes through the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and vowed to give away most of his fortune through the Giving Pledge , which he and his ex-wife Melinda French Gates launched in 2010 along with Warren Buffett.

Bill Gates, the cofounder of Microsoft, has an estimated net worth of $153 billion.

Gates long held the title as the world's second-richest person until Elon Musk unseated him in November 2020.

Now, Gates is the world's fifth-richest person and part of an exclusive club of centibillionaires — people worth more than $100 billion.

Gates has invested in various stocks and assets and launched a $1 billion investment fund, Breakthrough Energy, with 20 others.

Despite his massive fortune, Gates previously told Ellen DeGeneres that when he became a billionaire at age 31 (which was history's youngest billionaire at the time), he didn't go on a spending spree .

But he has indulged in things over time, he said, like a private plane.

It's been reported that Gates owns a Bombardier BD-700 Global Express, which can seat up to 19 people.

Gates also spent a lot on his estate, Xanadu 2.0, in Medina, Washington. It reportedly took him seven years and $63 million to build.

Gates owns at least 12 parcels of land spanning roughly 10.5 acres, purchased for approximately $34 million between 1988 and 2009. All told, the mansion and parcels have a combined assessed value of roughly $183.5 million.

In 2023, the property taxes on Gates' Medina properties added up to $1.3 million.

Gates' estate includes a 60-foot pool — in its own separate, 3,900-square-foot building — with an underwater sound system.

Gates reportedly has paid to import sand from St. Lucia in the Caribbean to the shore surrounding his house.

There's also a 2,100-square-foot library, home to a 16th-century Leonardo da Vinci manuscript that Gates bought at auction for $30 million in 1994.

It's been reported that Gate's house features some display screens on the walls that can show different paintings or photographs. However, there are real paintings on the wall as well — like the Winslow Homer painting Gates purchased for $36 million in 1988.

In addition to the six kitchens, 24 bathrooms, and a home theater for 20 guests, Gates' house has various garages for 23 cars.

Gates is an avid luxury-car collector.

His first big splurge after founding Microsoft was a Porsche 911 supercar , he told DeGeneres. He purchased the car in 1979 . He later sold it, and it was auctioned for $80,000.

But that wasn't Gates' last Porsche — he's also added a Porsche 959 to his car collection

Outside of his Washington pad, Gates also has a 20-acre estate in Wellington, Florida.

The estate includes at least two mansions, one 6,668 square feet, and the other 5,716 square feet, on the property. He bought the properties over three years for about $35 million.

His daughter, Jennifer Gates Nassar , is an accomplished equestrian, and he bought the property to support her passion. It serves as the home base of her horseback riding facilities, and the area is a hotspot for many other wealthy equestrians as well.

In California, Gates owns the 228-acre Rancho Paseana, which he purchased for $18 million.
