We have serious environmental issues, as you are all aware, and there are several contributing reasons, the biggest one being the abundance of trees. What do we do with a valuable object in the form of a tree that provides us with a lot, but nothing demand in return? We sucked its vitality dry; we mutilate fruits and vegetables, dwell in its shadow, and create both drugs with therapeutic benefits and ones without. Sadly, we ultimately take down a tree to make money by selling the wood and other byproducts and rob it of its life. Is it not awful and a huge insult to our modest nature?

I will be speaking about the value of trees today. It cannot be disputed that trees act as both a natural air filter and a significant source of oxygen.

Fruits and vegetables are also produced by them that act as a source of food for humans. They also act as shelters for birds. Both our ecosystem and meaningful lives benefit greatly from trees.

They encourage peace and create pleasant, beautiful surroundings. They also help in maintaining a constant temperature by diverting the harmful rays of the sun. Furthermore, they aid in saving water and decrease soil erosion. Also, they’re in the position of sustaining the ecosystem, and numerous plant species have long been valued.

Some studies claim that towns without trees and their shadows are transforming into hot islands where the temperature is 12 degrees higher than nearby locations.

Given all the benefits trees provide for us, it is our responsibility to repay them by preserving them. Despite its worldwide significance, deforestation is being caused by the cutting down of trees. Trees are being cut down indiscriminately on a big scale. The natural resources of the earth are being depleted as a result.

First, let’s talk about trees. They are the lungs of our planet. They suck in harmful gases like carbon dioxide and breathe out oxygen, which we all need to live. Without trees, we would not have enough clean air to breathe. Just one large tree can provide a day’s supply of oxygen for up to four people. Think about that next time you take a deep breath!

Secondly, forests are home to millions of plants and animals. Many of these creatures can’t live anywhere else. When we cut down forests, we are taking away their homes. Imagine if someone came and bulldozed your house; you wouldn’t have anywhere to live. That’s what happens to these animals. Also, many of these plants have amazing healing properties. They could be the key to curing diseases in the future.

Next, forests help control the temperature and rainfall on Earth. They absorb sunlight, keeping our planet from getting too hot. They also help create rain clouds. Without forests, we could have more droughts and heatwaves. That means less water for us to drink and fewer crops for us to eat.

Forests also protect us from natural disasters. How so? Trees act like sponges, soaking up rainwater and preventing floods. They also keep the soil in place, stopping landslides. Without forests, our towns and cities are more at risk from these disasters.

With all these amazing things forests do for us, it’s a wonder why we keep cutting them down. We use wood for many things, like making paper and building houses. But we’re using it faster than the trees can grow back. We’re also clearing forests to make way for farms and cities. But if we keep going at this rate, we could lose all our forests in 100 years.

So, what can we do to help? Here are some easy steps. One, use less paper. Use both sides when you’re writing or drawing. And recycle your paper instead of throwing it away. Two, when you or your parents shop, look for products that are made from recycled materials or support sustainable forestry practices. Three, plant a tree. It’s a fun activity and you’ll be helping our planet.

In conclusion, our forests are our friends. They give us so much and ask for so little in return. Let’s do our part to protect them. Because without forests, we wouldn’t have a planet to call home. Remember, every tree counts, every action matters. Together, we can save our forests.

Besides this, for humans, birds, and animals, are the source of fruits and vegetables. They also shelter birds and are like an object to play with, for monkeys, birds, and kids.  For our ecosystem and our meaningful lives, trees are very valuable.

Trees are the greatest gift to life on earth. Much has already been said about this and I want to reiterate the fact that by closing carbon dioxide in their roots, woods, and leaves, the trees serve as carbon sinks. In our climate, this carbon is not so abundant, which can destroy it. Trees act as windmills. 

The trees planted on the edge actually serve as a windbreaker during cold and windy weather conditions. An airflow will reduce the heating bills of our house to a great degree by up to 30 percent and reduce snow droplets effectively. The soil is preserved by the roots of the trees and their leaves break the power of the air and reduce the impact of rain on the soil. 

Thus, trees face soil erosion, hold rainwater, and keep an eye on sediment deposits and water runoff during storms. Ultimately, I just want to conclude that trees are good for humanity and that they are the true protectors of humanity. They nourish us and our lives are maintained.
