Summer Intern - Sideline Reporter

Upper valley nighthawks.

This is a Full Time Unpaid Internship The Upper Valley Nighthawks are hiring for the summer 2025 NECBL season! We are looking to fill multiple roles within our organization, including the Sideline Reporter. The duties for this role will include, but not be limited to the following: • Work alongside the Director of Broadcasting to oversee the daily operation and production of the broadcast. • Attend all home games and some road games to produce content. • Responsible for in-game sideline reports on the NECBL Network and ESPN . • Capture and edit content throughout the game day to upload to social media channels such as TikTok. • Conduct interviews with players and coaches to include on Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, and other social media channels. • Assist the rest of the broadcast team in producing long-form content. • Report human interest stories and feature content for social media channels. Please note these internships are unpaid as part of a non-profit league and organization. Housing is provided at a local hotel for a rate of $600 for the summer. Free meals provided each week via local eateries. Gym membership is included. The Nighthawks and NECBL are funded in part by Major League Baseball.
