IGNOU Assignment Last date Extended, Applicable to Project submission too.

This is applicable to All Programme student under TEE June 2024 SSN including Master and Bachelor Degree. IGNOU Assignment last date is common for all students irrespective of Admission year, Programme or Mode (ODL or OL).

IGNOU Assignment last date is always extended from 31 march to 30 April because of extension in admission date for January session. Student can submit assignment for June 2024 session before the deadline date.  Click to know "Assignment Writing Tips" effectively. Check previous Session extended last date(s) here for reference purpose. Extension notification is delayed for coming June session because of weekend holiday in end of march month.

Further, IGNOU Exam form last date is extended till 25  May 2024 . So it implies in a way that Assignment last date also to be again extended around the last date of exam form submission. This is as per previous session practice of extension in last date for assignment and exam form together.  Also the study material delay delivery is reason for assignment date extension. Assignment submission for June 2024 session has started from 1 March 2024. Both ODL and OL Programme mode student has to submit assignment for each course code. IGNOU Exam form submission has also started and student can Apply for exam.

IGNOU assignment last date is a time frame given to the students. They need to download question paper and submit assignment answers at Study centre (for ODL mode students ) or at LMS (for OL mode students ). Assignment to be submitted at study centre in Offline mode (in person / Speed Post) or as per your Regional Centre guidelines.

The last date is mentioned on the assignment question paper itself. As per assignment question paper for few programme last date is 31 March 2024 while it is 30 April 2024 for few programme.  The Bottom line is 30 April 2024 is the last date for all IGNOU Programme because last date is never programme specific.

Assignment submission is mandatory for writing the examination.

All Master Degree, Bachelor Degree, Diploma and PG Diploma Programme student should download the Assignment question paper, write assignment answer and submit the same in March – April 2024 . All Certificate student who has not submitted assignment for TEE December 2023 session can now submit assignment in March – April 2024 All semester-based programme student (eg. BCA, MCA, MBA, etc) if not submitted assignment for TEE December 2023 can now submit assignment in March – April 2024.

IGNOU Project December 2023 session submission last date was 30 November 2023 . However IGNOU Synopsis can be submitted till 31 December 2023. IGNOU Assignment deadline is extended time to time by the official notification. Extension granted in assignment last date for the previous session is mentioned below for reference purpose.

Submission of IGNOU Assignment is compulsory to be eligible for appearing in theory exam (TEE). There is a provision of assignment submission declaration while submitting IGNOU exam form online. All Master (MSW, MAPC, MSCENV, MTTM etc) , Bachelor (BAEGH, BAHIH, BASOH, BAUDH etc),  PG Diploma (PGDHE, PGDAC, PGDAST, PGDRD etc), Diploma (DTS, DHORT, DAFE, DSCDM etc),  Certificate (CNCC, CIT, CUL, CBS, CTS ect) Student who has taken Admission / RR in July 2023 Session or prior is eligible to submit assignment for June 2024 Session*. Certificate and semester based programme students are eligible to submit assignment within 6 months.

IGNOU assignment is a set of questions to test student’s comprehension of learning the materials they receive from the University and also to help them get through the courses by providing feedback to them. The main objective of assignments is to keep student spend time in studying the course material. Student can download assignment question paper online and link is given in below table.

The status of assignment can be checked online and is reflected in Grade Card after few weeks. Submitting neat and legible assignment response can help to fetch extra score .

After Assignment submission student can submit IGNOU Exam form online. Hall ticket / admit card is generated 10 - 15 day before the start of examination. IGNOU datesheet is issued nearly 2 months before the start of exam.

Note : In IGNOU assignment submission last date is NOT programme specific.  Last date is common for ALL Programme . Generally, for most of the programme assignment last date is written as 31st March or 30th September on the assignment question paper. How to submit IGNOU Assignment ?

IGNOU assignment plays very important role in fetching good percentage of marks, so you should give attention to the assignment portion along with your theory exam. Assignment should be hand written. After wring assignment answer attach cover page ( Click here for cover page) on each of your assignment. Tie all the pages nicely to avoid any paper misplacement during evaluation. You have to submit assignment to your study centre ( Click here to know your IGNOU study center)  before last date. You can submit IGNOU assignment in two ways. 1. By visiting to your study center in person and take submission receipt. 2. By post. In this case keep speed post tracking number safely for future reference.

Please ensure your final report should contain the •    Synopsis Approved Format in original, along with “Synopsis” . •    Guide’s Bio-data and •    Certificate of originality is duly signed by both the Student and the Project Guide with date and any other annexure as mentioned in Project Manual. •    Ensure that the Original Project Report is to be scanned in a single pdf format file.

What is Assignment Submission Deadline in IGNOU ?

IGNOU assignment last date is also called the deadline to submit assignment at Study center. Online mode (OL) learner need to submit assignment at LMS (Learning Management System). As per University Calendar Assignment submission is done twice every year for June and December session .

As per instruction, IGNOU assignment submission last date varies from programme to programme. The due date is mentioned in the instruction page of assignment question paper.

• For TEE June Cycle / Session   : In this cycle Assignment submission starts from 1st March and ends on 31 March but in some case (like when admission for January Cycle is delayed ) the University  extends the last date for assignment submission like for TEE June 2022 session it was extended upto 20th July 2022 and
• For TEE Dec Cycle/ Session : In this cycle Assignment submission start from 1st September and ends on 30th September but in some case (like when admission for July Cycle is delayed) the University extends the last date for assignment submission.

Explained with Example

1. For Student of Year based UG, PG, PG Diploma or Diploma programme

Any student who got admitted in Jan 2022 Admission Cycle and his/her programme is Year based (Eg : MEG, MPS, MCOM, MPA etc) such learner is supposed to submit 1st Year assignment between 1 - 30th Sep 2021 and this session is considered as TEE DEC 2022 SESSION . For any extension in submission date for that session may be checked on the website. Failing in assignment submission for TEE DEC 2022 SESSION, then leaner can submit the assignment in the next coming cycle.

2. For Student of Semester based UG, PG, Diploma, PG Diploma and Certificate programme

Any student who got admitted in Jan 2022 Admission Cycle and his/her programme is Semester based (Eg: BCA, MCA, MP, PGCCL etc) such learner is supposed to submit 1st Semester assignment between 1 - 30th March 2021 and this session is considered as TEE JUNE 2022 SESSION .For any extension in submission date for that session may be checked on the website. Failing in assignment submission for TEE JUNE 2022 SESSION, then leaner can submit the assignment in the next coming cycle.

Note : Assignment Question paper can be downloaded from University Website. Before writing assignment answers check the validity of Assignment question paper which is written on the Assignment Question paper itself. Student who could submit assignment then they need to download fresh Assignment Question paper from website.

The IGNOU Student Evaluation Division (SED) monitors and updates Term-end examinations result, assignments submisisons and extension of dates, projects, practical examinations, dissertations, viva-voce, field work, etc. and award of  degrees/ Diplomas/ certificates.

First year July 2023 admission session students of MEG, MCOM, , MHD, MPS, MAH, MSO, MAPC, MEC, MPA, MAAN, MGPS, MARD, MSCDFSM, MSCCFT, MSW, MSWC, MAEDU, MADE, MAAE, MAPY, MADVS,  MAGD, MATS, MAJMC etc can submit assignment for June 2024 session. The last date of IGNOU assignment is 30 April 2024.

Yes, IGNOU Assingment Question papers are made available on the website in each session of admission. It can be easily downloaded from the IGNOU Website.

Once a learner submitted the assignment, never forget to check the assignment submission status on the website after few weeks.

Generally Once the assignment submission date is over, Study Center takes necessary  steps to get the assignment evaluated and is sent to the approved evaluator / Academic Counsellor of IGNOU for evaluation. Later when Evaluator completes the evaluation and tabulation of marks course wise then it submitted to the Study Center Co-ordinator. Later it is uploaded on the University website.

How can I Check my IGNOU assignment submission status ?

The status of assignment submitted for TEE June Cycle/Session starts reflecting on the website from June/July month. Similarly the status of assignment submitted  for TEE December Cycle/Session starts reflecting on the website  from December/January month. After the transmission of assignment data from study center or regioanl center finally after few days/weeks assignment marks is updated in the Grade Card.

How to resolve Discrepancy in IGNOU assignment submission status ?

Any discrepancy in your assignment submission status, you may bring to the notice of Co-ordinator OR functionaries of study center for immediate resolution. If any discrepancy found : Student need not to be panic. They should contact Study Center Co-ordinator in the Month of

• August/ September for assignment  submitted for June Cycle/ Session.
• Feb/ March for assignment submitted for Dec Cycle/ Session.

IGNOU assignment submission for TEE June 2022 is extended till May 31, 2022

IGNOU Assignment Status: The Indira Gandhi National Open University, commonly known as IGNOU, extended the deadline for submitting assignments for the IGNOU Term-End Exam, or TEE, June 2022 sessions. The IGNOU assignment submission deadline for TEE June 2022 session is extended till May 31, 2022. The candidates of the IGNOU TEE 2022 are now being provided with some additional time to submit their assignments.

Previously, the IGNOU assignment submission last date for the Term-End Exam 2022 June session was scheduled for May 15, 2022. However, the university has revised and postponed the deadline till May 31, 2022 for students.

“With the approval of the Competent Authority, the last date for submission of assignments (Both in hard copy and soft copy) for the Term-End Examination, June 2022 has been further extended up to May 31, 2022,” the IGNOU official notice reads.

The University also took to its official website to share the notice of the extension of IGNOU assignment submission. It captioned the notice as, “Notification regarding the extension of the last date for submission of Assignments for TEE, June, 2022 till May 31, 2022”

Meanwhile, IGNOU was in talks when Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan graced the IGNOU 35th convocation . The event, attended by 2,91,588 students, provided degrees, diplomas, and certificates to children across the country. Mr Pradhan in the event said that the professors of the IGNOU are like Lord Hanuman, who was unaware of the powers he possessed, and asserted that their work needs to be celebrated.

Earlier, on April 19 IGNOU had extended the last date for the submission of assignments, for IGNOU term-end exam (TEE) for December 2021 and June 2022. The assignment submission date for December 2021 TEE had been extended till April 30, 2022, and the assignment submission date for June 2022 TEE had been extended to May 15, 2022.

Now, the last date for submission of Assignments for TEE June 2022 has been extended till May 31, 2022.

Last month, the institute was in talks as India’s Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan that the professors of the IGNOU are like Lord Hanuman, who was unaware of the powers he possessed, and asserted that their work needs to be celebrated. “Hanuman is known to have saved the society and being the voice of the adivasis. He did not realise the kind of powers he possessed and sometimes, he had to be told about his immense powers. You are Hanuman. You do not realise what you have done. Let us celebrate what you have done,” the minister said.

Guidelines for Submitting IGNOU Assignments

• Preparing the Front Page

The first step in submitting an assignment at IGNOU is to create a well-structured front page. This is the document that introduces your assignment and provides vital information to your instructors. It should contain the following details:

• Enrollment Number
• Course Title
• Assignment Number
• Date of Submission/Posting

Ensuring that all these details are accurate and complete is crucial for proper identification and assessment of your work.

• Use A4 Size Paper

Ensure that your response is neatly organized on A4 size paper. This standard paper size not only provides ample space for your answers but also aligns with the formatting requirements of IGNOU.

• Leave Margins

  IGNOU Assignment 2022 :-  इंदिरा गांधी राष्ट्रीय मुक्त विश्वविद्यालय (IGNOU) द्वारा June 2022 Term End Examination के लिए Assignment Submission शुरु हो गया हैं Previous Session की तरफ ही इस बार भी Students Assignment Online और Offline Assignment जमा करवा सकते हैं। जो भी Students June 2022 Term End Examination के लिए अपना Assignment जमा करना चाहते है Last Date से पहले Assignment Submit करवा सकते हैं। 

आपके Regional Centre और Study Centre के तरफ से Assignment Submission का Guidelines जारी किया जाएगा। जिसमे आपको Assignment Submission का Mode भी बताया जाएगा। अगर आपके Regional Centre के तरफ से Assignment Submission का कोई भी Guidelines जारी नहीं किया जाता हैं तो आपको Assignment Offline Mode में Study Centre पर जा कर सबमिट करना होगा।

• सभी Bachelor's Degree Program के छात्र जिन्होंने July 2021 सत्र में Fresh Admission और Re-Registration किया है। वे June 2022 Examination के लिए असाइनमेंट जमा कर सकते हैं।
• सभी Master's Degree Program के छात्र जिन्होंने July 2021 सत्र में Fresh Admissionऔर Re-Registration किया है। वे June 2022 Examination के लिए असाइनमेंट जमा कर सकते हैं।
• सभी Diploma और PG Diploma Program के छात्र जिन्होंने July 2021 सत्र में Fresh Admission लिया है। वे June 2022 Examination के लिए असाइनमेंट जमा कर सकते हैं।
• सभी छात्र जिन्होंने January 2022 सत्र में किसी भी Semester Based Program या 6th Months के Certificate Course में Fresh Admission लिया है। वे June 2022 Examination के लिए असाइनमेंट जमा कर सकते हैं।

Guidelines and instructions for submission of on-line examination form for june 2022 tee.

Indira Gandhi National Open University has announced the last date for the same is July 25 June 2022. The guidelines for examination forms available on the website of IGNOU are ignou.ac.in.

The varsity has already said in its official announcement that the term end Examination for June TEE for 2021-2022 June session will start from the July 22 this year and it will conclude on 05 September 2022 with 34 working days. The online link for the submission examination form is available on the official website of the university. Candidates may check the necessary guidelines for filling the forms that are available on the website of the varsity. You can also contact the University student’s support centre to get more details.

Requirements for the Submission of June TEE Examination Forms

• Candidates must have submitted all the projects and assignments before appearing for their respective examinations before the due date.
• They have a complete minimum time to appear for the June TEE for the particular academic year.

The Clash of dates for the examination won’t be changed under any circumstances. The following cases may include:

• The request to change or postpone the examination dates may not be entertained by the students if the two examinations are from the same group (groups 1 to 6).
• Backlog courses
• Courses related to different programs
• Programs of various specializations in the case of MP courses.

Guidelines for Filling the Examination forms

Students should answer all the questions about the particular subject or course in that the program is offered.

If the answer script is answered in a language other than the medium of instruction, their examination answers will not be evaluated and cancelled summarily without any further information. Click here !

The examination results  will be declared in a phased manner and will be uploaded on the website of IGNOU is ignou.ac.in. 

Instructions for Jail Inmates

Jail inmates are requested to submit their examination forms for June TEE at their concerned regional center only. The Jail inmates won’t be permitted to regular exam centers in any case as their examination centers are their respective jails themselves.

In case, the Jail inmates have opted for the examination center outside their jail, the exam center will be reverted to the same location or the jail where he/she is under custody.

How to Submit IGNOU Assignment for TEE June & Dec 2024?

IGNOU Assignment Submission Methods 2024 – As per the regular schedule of the IGNOU Assignment submission, the university going to accept the IGNOU Assignment for the Term-end examination June 2024 till 30th April 2024 so the students can submit their assignments latest by 30th April 2024 to get eligible to appear in the upcoming TEE June 2024 . It is also noted that the given last date is subject to change or extension that should not be treated as the final date of submission.

The university may extend the assignment submission date so candidates have to wait for the official announcement from IGNOU after they missed the due date. The students now can also submit their assignments online if they are not able to visit their respective centers.

So, now there are three different ways how the students can submit the assignments based on their convenience.

• IGNOU Assignment 2023 (Last Date)
• IGNOU Assignment Status 2023 (UPDATED)
• IGNOU Project 2023 (Online Submission)

Through Offline Mode

This is the usual way through which the students usually submit the assignments. The students have to finish answering the questions of the assignments and then submit them to the study center. While preparing the assignments, you should make sure that the very first page of the assignment should have all the necessary details.

• The name of the student
• Enrolment number
• Program and Code code
• Name, Code, and address of the study center where you are submitting the assignment
• Mobile number and email address of the student
• IGNOU Assignment Front Page (PDF)
• IGNOU Study Centre List

If you are submitting the assignments directly through offline mode, the person at the study center will offer you a receipt that you need to keep safe till the result is not declared.

Through Online Mode

For students who are not able to visit the study center to submit the assignments can also submit them online now by following any of these two methods. It is noted that both of the methods are subject to availability at the respective regional centre.

Google Form

The very first method is that of Google Forms. The students can visit the respective regional portals of IGNOU and then submit the assignments. You can follow the below steps for the successful submission of assignments through Google Form.

Step – 1 – First of all, have a look on the list of IGNOU Regional Centres at the Official Website of IGNOU and go to your RC website.

Step – 2 – On the homepage of RC’s official page, go to the section of News and Events.

Step – 3 – You should get the option of Assignment Guidelines or Assignment Submission on which you have to click.

Step – 4 – As you click on the link, the Google form will get open in the browser.

Step – 5 – Now now start filling the form with proper details such as your name, enrolment number, subject code, and others.

Step – 6 – Carefully upload the scanned copy of your assignment and submit the form.

Instructions to Follow

While you are submitting the assignments through Google Form, make sure that you follow these important instructions.

• You have to fill a new form for each subject.
• Make sure that you are uploading the assignment files correctly.
• You need to scan the handwritten copies of the assignments and upload them.
• The scanned copy of assignments should not be more than 100MB.
• You should only submit the PDF format of the scanned copy.
• Though you will be entering the basic details in the Google Form, it is also a great idea to mention the same details on your assignment copy also.
• The option of submitting the assignments through Google Forms will be available only when the quota of email submission is over.

Through Email Address

Though IGNOU has started the option of submitting the assignments through Google Forms, it will be not available in all the regional centers. The option of Google Forms will be only applicable if the email quota of a regional center is over and they are not more able to receive assignment emails from the students.

Here is the method that you need to follow to submit your assignments through email.

Step – 1 – Mention all the important details on the front page of your assignment that you would do in the case of offline submissions such as name, subject name and code, program and course code, study center name and code, contact details, and others.

Step – 2 – Scan your handwritten assignment copy and get it in PDF format. Each subject assignment should be in each PDF copy.

Step – 3 – Find out the email address of your regional center from Google in the same way how you search for the regional center portal link.

Step – 4 – In the body of the email, provide all the details in a listicle format that you have mentioned on the front page of your assignments.

Step – 5 – Now attach the PDF formats of your assignments and send the email to the respective regional center email address.

After you have sent the email, you should receive an acknowledgment. It may take a few hours to get this acknowledgment email. But if you have still not received it, you should check whether the regional portal has shared the link for Google Forms or not and should upload the assignments there too.

It is also noted that the many of the regional centre of IGNOU is not sending any confirmation or acknowledgment after the submission of IGNOU Assignments so you don’t need to worry about it instead of keep checking the status of your assignments to get the result.
