Anscheinend lag das "Drehbuch" bei RTL im Mülleimer, denn selbst deren Chefetage war das zu dumm.

Blonde Billig Bitch überedet Männer sich gegen Geld verstümmeln zu lassen.

Langeweile, miese Darsteller, schlechte "Special Effects" und Dialoge aus irgendeiner SAT1 Daily Soap.

Was hätte man für die 500.- Dollar Produktionskosten alles machen können.

Schauspielschule wäre schon mal ein Anfang.

boring and slow paced, ridiculously predictable, felt like 2 hours long, too much exposition, cringe dialogue, twist ending was clockable from a mile away, unlikable characters all around, no deeper meaning, low budget ping pong torture table, white woman takes everything for herself in the end…wow. never trusting tiktok for movie recommendations ever again

Reminded me of  Table No 21  in terms of playing a game with big money on the line. It was ok, twist expected, acting is good. Extra half star for Gordon.

Predictable in every sense of the word. Countless  films had done this same idea and done it a thousand times better. I mostly checked this one out, besides being a movie-a-Holocene and having a serious problem, because Malin Akerman was in it, so I felt it was worth checking out. Spoiler alert: she was the best part of the movie! Some okay performances, decent production design, but I’ve seen it before a thousand times and it really didn’t offer anything new from its predecessors.

One star for existing and half a star bonus for the underrated Malin Akerman!

The two are invited to meet with a mysterious woman called The Officiator, who offers them the chance to win $20 Million if they agree to play a simple game. Eager to get his hands on the money, Jude convinces Andy to play but inadvertently signs the duo up for a deadly game called "Us or Them" where failure to agree on decisions will have dire consequences to not just Jude and Andy, but the family they have brought along with them on the trip. — MSR Media

Among the many incidents from Trump’s early years in the 1970s and 1980s to his The Art of the Deal fame, there is a scene in the film of the past and potentially future president raping his then-wife Ivana ( Maria Bakalova ). The first former Mrs. Trump, who died in 2022 , had spoken of the sexual assault in the years following the couple’s divorce but later recanted the incident in the decades before her death.

The Apprentice also has a rather graphic view on Stan’s Trump getting hair treatment for his emerging bald spot and liposuction for his emerging girth. As long has been rumored in Trumpland over the decades, there is also some pill popping — in this case amphetamines.

Deadline’s Pete Hammond called The Apprentice “compelling” in his review today, but Trump 2024 seems only compelled to want to beat the picture into the ground.

“This ‘film’ is pure malicious defamation, should not see the light of day and doesn’t even deserve a place in the straight-to-DVD section of a bargain bin at a soon-to-be-closed discount movie store,” Cheung stated. “It belongs in a dumpster fire.”

In that context, it was seen as a near-certainty that Trump would lash out against The Apprentice with legal wrath — whether he files something, well, that’s another matter altogether.

What we do know is, with the prosecution having rested its case in the hush-money trial earlier Monday and a defense witness testifying, Donald Trump will be back in Judge Juan Merchan’s Manhattan courtroom Tuesday. Whether he crosses the line on the looming gag order or not — again — is TBD.

Lacking a distributor for now in this election year, The Apprentice is being sold at Cannes by CAA, WME and Rocket Science.
