صدر گرامی قدرو حاضرین مکرم!

شاعرِ مشرق حضرت علامہ اقبال رحمتہ اللہ علیہ کی تمام شاعری اوّل تا آخر مسلمانانِ عالم کے لیے ایک پیغام ہے۔ ایک عالمگیر پیغام جس کو سمجھنے کے لیے ضروری ہے کہ دینِ اسلام سے پوری پوری واقفیت حاصل ہو اور کوئی جاہل حضرت اقبال کے پیغام کی گہرائی تک نہیں پہنچ سکتا ہے۔ وہ شخص جو اسلام کے زریں اصول اور تاریخ اسلام کا فہم وادراک حاصل کر سکے۔ وجہ میں بیان کرچکا ہوں کہ حضرت اقبال کا کلام ہمیں نئے جہاں سے متعارف کرواتا ہے۔

جناب صدر! ہم جانتے ہیں کہ حضرت علامہ اقبال پیدا ہی ایک ایسے ذی شان و ذی وقار خاندان میں ہوئے تھے جس میں اسلامی خصوصیات نمایاں طور پر اجاگر تھیں۔ حضرت علامہ اقبال کو شروع ہی سے ایک ایسا جید عالم استاد نصیب ہوا جو صحیح اسلامی دیندار کا قابل تقلید نمونہ تھا۔ میری مراد علامہ سید میر حسن سے ہے جن کا درخشندہ خاندانی خصوصیات اور ابتدائی زدوسیات نے جس اسلامی تخم کی آبیاری کی تھی حضرت اقبال کے وسعت مطالبہ نے اس میں ایسے برگ وبار پیدا کیے کہ ان کے احسانات کا سایہ تادیر قائم رہے گا۔ اور یہ اسی تاثیر کا نتیجہ ہے کہ حضرت اقبال کے نام کے ساتھ رحمتہ اللہ علیہ مستقل طور پر ایک جزو کی حثیت اختیار کرچکا ہے۔

میرے عزیز دوستو! آپ جانتے ہیں کہ شاہیں خوددار ہے اور وہ محض آب و دانہ کے لئے بلندیوں سے نشیب کی طرف نہیں آتا ہے۔ وہ آب و دانہ جو پرواز کو کوتاہ کردے اس کے نزدیک موت ہے۔ حضرت اقبال نے کیا خوب لکھا ہے؀

جناب صدر! حضرت علامہ اقبال کا پیغام اسلام خودداری کا پیغام ہے۔ بندے کو ہزاروں دروازوں سے چھڑا کر ایک ہی چوکھٹ پر جھکاتا ہے۔ جو اس دروازے پر جھک گیا اس کے لئے اور کوئی مقام ایسا نہیں ہے جہاں اس کی کمر خم اور سر نیچا ہو۔ ہرقسم کا جھکاؤ کی خمیدگی صرف ایک ذات کے لیے ہے۔اس کی حکومت حکومت ہے اور اس کی حاکمیت حاکمیت۔حضرت اقبال رحمتہ اللہ علیہ کا شعر عرض ہے؀

صدر ذی وقار! حضرت علامہ اقبال مسلمانانِ عالم کو خودی کا پیغام دیتے ہیں۔ خودی ایک ایسا لفظ ہے جو ان کے کلام میں ایک وسیع المعنی لفظ ہے۔ خودی انسان کی ذات اور شخصیت کو کہتے ہیں۔ انسان اپنی ذات کو پہچانے اپنے حقیقت معلوم کرے اپنے اور خدا کے تعلق کو سمجھنے اگر اپنی اصلیت سمجھ گیا تو خدا کا سراغ پالینا مشکل نہیں۔ وہ مسلمان میں خودی کو بیدار کرنا چاہتے ہیں۔ عجز کمزوری اور بزدلی کو دور کر کے انسان کو اس کے اصل مقام سے آشنا کرانا چاہتے ہیں اور ایسے ہی مسلمان کو جس کی خودی بیدار ہو گئی ہو وہ مردِ مومن کہتے ہیں۔ حضرت اقبال کا فرمانا ہے کہ؀

میرے عزیز ساتھیو! حضرت اقبال کی تعلیمات کو سمجھو اور ان پر پوری طرح عمل پیراں ہوجاؤ کہ اسی میں ہماری ذاتی دقومی بقا کا راز پوشیدہ ہے۔ اگر آج ہماری آنکھیں نہیں کھل سکیں گی تو پھرہمیشہ کے لیے ہمارے سامنے اندھیرا ہی اندھیرا ہوگا۔ وہ اقبال فرماگئے ہیں؀

صدر عالی مرتبت اور معزز حاضرین! مجھے آج اس ایوان میں جس مقدس موضوع پر اظہار خیال کرنا ہے وہ ہے۔

کی محمدؐ سے وفا تو نے تو ہم تیرے ہیں

جناب والا! آج کا موضوع شاعر مشرق علامہ اقبالؒ کا لافانی پیغام ہے۔اقبالؒ تاریخ اسلام کے آئینے میں جھانکتے ہیں۔غلامان محمد پر ایک نظر ڈالتے ہیں۔عشاق مصطفےٰ پر کہکشاں کی صورت اترنے والی رحمتِ خداوندی کا جائزہ لیتے ہیں۔ان پر یہ حقیقت واضح ہو جاتی ہے کہ جب مرد مومن صحیح معنوں میں محبت و اطاعت رسول کے نام پر سلطان دو عالمﷺ سے وفاداری کو اصل ایمان بنا لیتا ہے تو تقدیرِ خداوندی اس کی تدبیر کے اشاروں کی محتاج ہوتی ہے اور پھر وہ پردۂ افلاک سے یہ صدا ابھرتی ہے کہ ؎

کی محمدؐ سے وفا تو نے تو ہم تیرے ہیں یہ جہاں چیز ہے کیا لوح و قلم تیرے ہیں

صدر محترم! محبوب خدا ﷺ سے وفاداری کا اعلان صرف لفظوں کا اظہار نہیں ہے بلکہ یہ تو عمل کی میزان ہے۔یہ محض زبانی اقرار نہیں بلکہ جانی و مالی ایثار ہے۔ یہ صرف ایک نعرہ نہیں بلکہ خون کی دھاروں پر چلنے کا نام ہے۔یہ ریا کاری یا مصلحت نہیں بلکہ عشق محمد مصطفیٰﷺ کے نام پر خاک و خون میں غسل کرنا ہے۔یہ محض تقریر کی ساحری نہیں بلکہ شمع انوار مصطفوی پر پروانہ وار نثار ہونے کی جلوہ گری ہے۔

حضورﷺ سے وفاداری کا عہد ماضی،حال اور مستقبل سے بے نیاز ہوتا ہے۔محبت رسولﷺ اس کی زندگی،اطاعت مصطفیٰ ﷺ اس کی سربلندی اور ناموس رسالت کی پاسداری اس کی تابندگی ہوتی ہے۔وہ حضور محمد مصطفیٰ ﷺ سے وفاداری کے نام پر ہرقدم پر یہ ثابت کرتا ہے کہ

؎ غلامانِ محمد جان دینے سے نہیں ڈرتے یہ سر کٹ جائے یا رہ جائے کچھ پروا نہیں کرتے

حاضرین محترم! ہم چند لمحوں کے لئے ماضی میں کھو جاتے ہیں کہ ہمارے اسلاف نے رسول اللہﷺ سے وفاداری کے نام پر کیا کیا۔ماضی کے گلشن ایمان میں کہیں سیدنا بلالؓ کو کوڑے کھا کر رسالت مصطفیٰ ﷺ کے گوہی دینے کی آواز آتی ہے،کہیں حضرت عمار بن یاسرؓ کے کانٹوں پر گھسیٹے جانے کی صدا سنائی دیتی ہے،کہیں سلمان فارسیؓ کی زنجیروں کی جھنکار سنائی دیتی ہے،کہیں صہیب رومی کے زخمی جسم کے قطرے قطرے توحید رسالت کی گواہی دیتے ہوئے نظر آتے ہیں،کہیں حضرت صدیق اکبرؓ یہ کہتے ہوئے کفار کے مظالم کا نشانہ بنتے ہیں کہ ظالمو مجھے مار ڈالو مگر میرے محمدﷺ کو کچھ نہ کہو۔کہیں حضرت زیدؓ کو وفاداری محمد مصطفیٰﷺ کے نام پر تختہ دار پر لٹکایا جا رہا ہے،کہیں حضرت خبیبؓ کے جسم میں نیزوں کی نوکیں چبھوئی جا رہی ہیں،کہیں سیدنا امام حسینؓ میدان کربلا میں خاندان نبوت کی قربانی دیتے نظر آتے ہیں۔

اور پھر جناب والا! تاریخ کے دوش پرسفر کرنے والے غازی علم الدین شہید کا ناموس رسالت پر قربان ہونے کا ایمان آفریں منظر نگاہوں کے سامنے آجاتا ہے۔ان میں سے ہر ایک باطل جلیل اسم محمدﷺ سے وفاداری کے نام پراس حقیقت کا اعلان ہے کہ

آنکھوں میں نورٗ دل میں بصیرت ہے آپ سے میں خود تو کچھ نہیںٗ میری قیمت ہے آپ سے قربان ہو رہا ہوں محمد کے نام پر عقبیٰ ہے ٗ آپ سےٗ میری جنت آپ سے

صدر محترم! سلطان دو عالم سے وفاداری حسن عمل کا تقاضا کرتی ہے۔ارشاد خداوندی ہے۔

(ترجمہ) جس نے رسول اللہﷺ کی اطاعت کی اس نے اللہ عزوجل کی اطاعت کی۔

گویا سلطان مدینہ کی اطاعت ہی اطاعت خداوندی ہے۔حق تو یہ ہے کہ اطاعت رسول ہماری زندگی کے ہر پہلو پر محیط ہونا چاہیے۔ہم سے کوئی راعی ہے یا رعایا ۔حکمران ہے یا عام شہری۔قاضی القصناۃ ہے یا معیشت دان، قانون دان ہے یا سیاسی رہنما۔امام ہے یا مقتدی،میرکارواں ہے یا مسافر منزل شوق۔ہر ایک کو اطاعت مصطفیٰ کا طوق اپنی گردن میں سجانا پڑے گا۔

جناب والا! آج ہم حالات کی ٹھوکریں کھا رہے ہیں۔وقت ہمارا دشمن ہے۔اغیار نے اسلام دشمنی کے سلسلہ میں سمجھوتہ کر لیا ہے۔زندگی کی تیز دھوپ نے ہمارے پاؤں جھلسا دئیے ہیں۔چشم فلک ہماری ذلت کا تماشا دیکھ رہی ہے۔اس کا سبب یہ ہے کہ ہم نے اطاعت رسول اور ناموس مصطفیٰ سے وفاداری کے لئے صرف گفتار کا سہارا لے لیا ہے۔آج اگر ہم پھر سے عظمت اسلاف کی داستانیں تازہ کرنا چاہتے ہیں،آج اگر ہم پھر سےلوح و قلم کی میراث کو اپنانا چاہتے ہیں تو اس جذبے کے ساتھ حضور مصطفیٰ ﷺ سے عملی عقیدت کا رشتہ قائم کرنا ہو گا کہ

؎ تیرے در کے سوا آسودگیٔ دل کہاں ملتی زمانہ تیرے در پر ٹھوکریں کھاتا ہوا آیا

Thanks for sharing this.I love this feature. I just tweeted at you on how much I like it. The voice is great and not at all like the text-to-speech I am used to listening to. I am a podcaster and I think this will help a lot of people multitask a bit, especially if they are interrupted with incoming emails or whatever. You can read-along but continue reading if your eyes need to go elsewhere. Hope you keep this. It’s already in other web publications. I also see it in some news sites. So I think it could become a standard that readers expect when they read online. Can I vote twice?

I just started using Medium more and I absolutely love this feature. I’ve listened to my own stories and the Al does the inflections just as I would. Many complain that they can’t read their own stories, but let’s be honest. How many stories would go without an audio version if you had to do all of them yourself? I certainly appreciate it. Ohio State commencement speaker says he got help from psychedelics while writing speech

Ohio State's chosen commencement speaker for the class of 2024, entrepreneur Chris Pan, was high on ayahuasca while he wrote his speech, according to posts he made on social media.

"Got some help from AI (Ayahuasca Intelligence) this week to write my commencement speech for 60k grads and family members at Ohio State University next Sunday," he wrote in a LinkedIn post before graduation.

Ayahuasca is a psychedelic liquid made from heating or boiling multiple psychoactive plants from South America, according to the Alcohol and Drug Foundation of Australia.

Pan also said he tried using ChatGPT and artificial intelligence to write his speech, according to his LinkedIn post and an Instagram post.

In the weeks preceding graduation, Pan shared multiple drafts of his speech on Instagram. His earliest posted draft included a lengthy section about the Israel-Palestine conflict and a moment where he removed his shirt.

But on Sunday, Pan did not explicitly mention Gaza, Israel or Palestine (or remove his shirt). Rather, he remarked, how after holding multicultural events over the past few months, we must "end suffering on both sides."

(He promised everyone in attendance a free bracelet from his company, MyIntent, "as an apology for listening to me talk about Bitcoin.").

Pan graduated from OSU in 1999 and went on to receive an MBA from Harvard Business School. He worked at consulting firm McKinsey and Company, PepsiCo and Facebook before starting his own business, MyIntent.org, in 2014, according to his LinkedIn profile.

MyIntent sells jewelry with a custom word of the customer's choosing etched in it, according to the company's website.
