“Picnic”, a day every student in the school is eagerly awaits the whole year. This year’s school picnic was to be held at Splash Water Park which was at three hour’s drive from our school. Water Park was full of amazing water rides namely Demon’s hole, lazy river, Amazonia, free fall, loop hole, etc. Demon’s hole and Amazonia were my favourite. Demon’s hole was a dark cylindrical water slide with utterly thrilling twists and turns and Amazonia was a super large water slide which took us through an artificially created jungle, which gave a feel of passing through the streams in Amazon rain forests.

In lunch, we were served lip-smacking Punjabi food with gulab jamuns in dessert. Then, there was a wave pool, besides which there was a beautiful artificial waterfall. We checked out from the park at 5pm in the evening and returned to our school at around eight.

I remember almost nothing from the return journey as we were all tired till the end of the day. Our legs were paining as they had exercised hard while climbing those steps for the slides, and thus out of exhaustion almost everyone was asleep in the bus while returning. It was a day well spent.

The happiness that we gained in the most simple things in life, bursting into laughter after playing pranks on our fellow classmates and that momentary anger of the one who had been pranked, those tired yet smiling faces at the end of the day and many more tingling moments are the memories to cherish forever.

Memories of this day will always hold a cosy corner in my and all our hearts. Somewhere I still wish if I could go back to this day again and feel that same thing with those same people all over again.

I was in standard 3 rd when my school had arranged a picnic to Kamla Nehru zoo situated besides Kankaria Lake, Ahmedabad. Being a kid, I was extremely excited for the picnic. A day before picnic I went to the nearby shop with my father to buy some snacks for the picnic. I bought a packet of chips, cookies, soya sticks and few packets of chewing gum.

First of all we had to enter the bird section where we saw a number of varied and beautiful birds. Toucan, a black and yellow coloured bird with a large beak, kingfisher a little bird with most vivid colours, Hornbill a beautiful bird with a horn like thing on its head and albatross a fine white and black coloured with aquatic habitat were some of the birds we saw. We also saw deer, hippopotamus, fox, wolf, alligator, crocodile, wild ass, yellow python snake, bear and many more. But our favourite ones were still left, where we had to visit after the lunch.

Finally, after the lunch it was the time for which we were all so excited about – to see the fastest animal cheetah, the national animal tiger and of course the king of the jungle, lion. We also saw jaguar and leopard. We were done with the zoo at around 3 in the afternoon, and we had time until 5 pm so the teachers decided to take us all to have a look around at Kankaria Lake. It was a beautiful place.

We sat on a mini toy train there which took us on a ride around the lake. After everyone completed the ride, it was almost 5 which was the time to leave for home. Teachers started counting the number of students, which brought them to the conclusion that one kid from our class has been missing. The teachers panicked however they were finally able to find Hussain, the lost one after 10 minutes of search operation.

Today, it might be a mere picnic to a zoo, but when I remember back I realized how these little things used to make me happy.

The kids are divided in different groups for different jobs as per their age. First of all, I and my friends went to the dentist and learnt some skills for removing the tooth having cavities. Not only this, we also did check up of other kids with different instruments. At the end of that, the head dentist made us understand about how crucial it is to do proper brushing. After that, we went to the bakery and made our very own delicious donuts.

We also did the wall painting on a very huge wall besides the road. Then, we got to know that there is a fashion show and we can walk on the ramp wearing those beautiful clothes. I and my friends couldn’t control our excitement and we immediately went for that. We walked through the ramp and it was an amazing experience. To our excitement, we saw an ice cream parlour next to that building. Going inside we realized that we can make our own ice cream, of whichever flavour we like. Similarly, there was a Kinder Joy factory where we made Kinder Joy and a Kellogs factory where we made Chocos.

Not just work, there were buildings in which there were classes to learn dance, play guitar, drums and flute, and also sing. So, we tried out almost everything we could. I learnt few notes on guitar and that was my first time on any musical instrument. After learning all this new stuff, we thought to try our hands on gadgets also. So, we went to the gadget store nearby where we were given information about the technology used in mobile phones and laptops. It was real fun.

To end our tour, there was a series of folk dances and music where all the kids had prepared something of their own for the entertainment of the audiences. I was also a part of a group with whom I performed Bhangra. This made us interact with other kids more and that is where I made my new friends who were basically from Amritsar, my birth place. All of the shows, including the singing event, helped us know how amazingly talented other kids were. After all of this there was a thank you speech by the staff members with whom we were also connected now.

All of this experience of being part of this amazing world was beyond words. It was the world where we not just used the amenities but also helped in creating them. The joy of making something on your own was just beyond words. Every kid should once visit Kidzania in their childhood and make long lasting memories there.

When I went to school, I found all my friends waiting for me, and a large bus for excursions came. We visited the historic Jaisalmer citadel in Rajasthan. A large range of vacationers go to this place regularly. There were four of us so we hired a vehicle. It took four hours to use and complete the tasks there. We started our adventure early in the morning, so as to explore the whole place. I like visiting at forts and vintage buildings. So, I picked Jaisalmer as our picnic spot.

In these stressful lives, we always look for an escape such that we can forget about our daily problems and enjoy our time away from the pollution and chaos of the city. The best option is to go on a picnic. Picnics are cherished and loved by both kids and adults. It relieves stress and adds some variety to our daily routine.

A picnic is referred to as one of the calmest outdoor activities, although it has its fun sides as well. A meal we consume outside, below the sky, in the presence of sparkling air and plant life, can be termed a picnic. People often plan picnics in parks, lakesides, seashores, and other outside locations that involve a stunning view and clean air.

Importance of Picnic

An outside pastime sometimes helps us calm our minds and maintain desirable fitness. A picnic is how we can add enjoyment to our daily life. There are various kinds of picnics, based on the people who arrange them or the fellow people. There could be college picnics, office picnics, family picnics, and more.

It is no longer incorrect to mention that our everyday lifestyle is full of stress and noise. A picnic introduces an alternative to our daily life. Humans take their favourite snacks to picnics and enjoy them under the stars.

My School Picnic Essay For Students

When I was in standard 3rd, my school organized a picnic to Kamla Nehru Zoo, which is located near Kankaria Lake, Ahmedabad. My father and I went to the nearby store a day before the picnic to buy snacks. I was very excited about the picnic. The packets of chips and cookies, soy sticks and chewing gum I bought were tasty.

My School Picnic to Zoo: On this one occasion, I probably packed my things up the previous night, obviously so that I wasn’t late for the picnic. In the morning I made a conference call with my friends. We talked about how excited we all were for our picnic. We decided when we would catch up the next day.

Even though I couldn’t sleep until late at night, I got to school at 7am, half an hour before reporting time. The team was divided into pairs based on roll numbers, and I was paired up with Manan, whose number was right next to mine. After traveling the road for a couple of hours singing, dancing and playing , we arrived at the zoo. After receiving ice cream when we arrived, we were eager to see the animals.

To begin with, we checked out the bird section, which had many diverse and beautiful species of birds. Some of the birds we saw include kingfishers, toucans, albatrosses and hornbills. Toucans have a distinctive black and yellow colouration, and kingfishers have bright colors. We also saw deer, hippopotamuses, foxes, wolves, alligators, crocodiles, wild asses, yellow python snakes, bears, and many more. But our favorite ones were still there, so we visited them after lunch.

Finally, after lunch, it was time to see the fastest animal in the world, the cheetah, as well as the national animal, the tiger and the king of the jungle, the lion. We also saw jaguars and leopards. The teachers decided to take us to Kankaria Lake after we were finished at the zoo around 3 in the afternoon. It was a beautiful place.

It was almost 5 when we finished the train ride, so it was time for everyone to leave for home. After counting the number of students, we found out one kid had been missing from class . However, after 10 minutes of searching, the teachers finally found Hussain, the lost student.

Conclusion: These small things might seem insignificant today, but when I remember back, I realize how much they meant to me when I was younger.

I’ve always loved going to amusement parks for a day out. I was pleased to learn that the school picnic for this year would be held at Essel World. Because it was our tenth grade year, it meant so much to us. It may have been our last year together. I will be in a different stream from my friends next year. Picnic Experiences at Amusement Park: Whenever I have a picnic, I always have a sleepless night. My dreams of how amazing picnic would be always kept me up late before picnic. We played dumb charades and truth and dare to kill time during the long walk from school to the amusement park.

Buses dropped us off at a place where we had to board a boat to get to the amusement park. Our boat provided a great view of the Shot-N-Drop ride. There was a lot of shouting from people enjoying the ride, and it was thrilling to be on the boat. We had to make the most of our day, as it may be our last one with our people. Our team jumped into the park as soon as possible to get the most out of it.

Even though I can’t remember all the rides we had been on, I still remember going from side to side on the ride named thunder. I remember the thrill and fear I felt when we were falling during Shot-N-Drop. I remember the goose bumps we got when Top-Spin whirled us around. We laughed stupidly when our cars ran into other cars. Our memories will never forget that moment when we finally reached the end of Alibaba’s mirror maze, turning to the tingling sensation when that cold water splashed upon us when we finally made it out.

Our memories will always include the happiness found in the simplest things in life: laughing when we played pranks on our fellow classmates, observing their momentary anger after being pranked, seeing their tired but happy faces as the day ends and many more such tingling moments.

Conclusion: I and all of us will always treasure the memories of this day. It would be wonderful if I could relive that moment with those people again, but I still wish it could be done.

When the school picnic for this year was announced in class on the first day after first term exams, it was the first day after first term examinations. After that, everyone was elated. A picnic was planned for the forest of Jambugdhoda at Vananchal resort this year. My group and I have never had a problem with permission from our parents, so the announcement was no problem for us.

It was a cold winter morning, and the school bus left at seven o’clock in the morning. Like every year School Picnic, our School organized a Picnic to water Park this year.
Out of fun and excitement everyone looked happy
The class was divided into groups of ten students each, with a group leader or captain.
At 10 am, we arrived at our destination and had 30 minutes to collect our swimsuits, take a shower, and get ready for the real fun
There were many water rides at the Water Park, including the lazy river, Amazon, free fall, loophole, etc.
Lunch was delicious Punjabi food with gulab jamun for dessert.
After that, there was an artificial waterfall and a wave pool.
Our tour ended at 5pm, and we reached our school by 8pm.
We were all exhausted by the end of the day so I don’t remember much of the return trip.
Our legs were hurt because we had climbed a lot of steps to proceed on the slides.
Everyone on the bus was asleep because they were so exhausted.
It was a day well spent and a wonderful part of my school memories.

It was the first day at school after our annual exam when the school picnic for this year was announced in the classroom. Everyone was excited since then. Sarnath was chosen for this year’s picnic. Fortunately, I was allowed to take my parents along, so we were ready to leave from the day of the announcement.

It was a cold morning, the school bus left at a high speed at eight in the morning. When the road of an hour passed, I did not know. Everyone in the bus was going on laughing and singing, also we played fun games with fellow classmates. We reached the destination around 9 pm. After resting for a while, we went on a tour of the zoo where we saw a variety of trees and birds and animals. Taking a nature walk was the most exciting part of the picnic time.

There was also the Anupam Museum, which we all were thrilled to see. Then we had lunch, followed by some fun activities like rappelling and zip-line which were a lot of fun. Time passed by so quickly that we didn’t even realize the day was over. It was indeed a day that I cherished for a long time.

School picnics are organized especially for children. It is extremely enjoyable, entertaining and full of knowledge. There is a lot to learn from a picnic, which is useful for life. Whenever we remember the good days when we grow up, then our picnic moments are definitely included in it.

The “Picnic” is eagerly awaited by every student throughout the school. This year the school picnic was to be held at Fun City Water Park, which was three hours away from our school.

This time we had made up our mind to visit the water park, which attracts people of all age groups. This fun city water park in our city is a thrilling and amazing source of entertainment. This is the biggest water park in our city. It is a unique combination of modern technology. At Fun City, water rides and slides are not just for fun, but each ride fills up with thrill and challenge.

Unlike every other day, on the day of the picnic we reported to the school ahead of our regular schedule, a reason for the excitement, obviously! Our class was divided into four groups of ten students each.

We reached the destination at 10 am and were given half an hour to change our swim suits and get ready for the real fun. The water park was full of amazing water rides such as monster hole, lazy river, free fall, loop hole etc. Monster’s Hole and Amusement Park were my favorites. The Demon’s Hole was a deep cylindrical water slide with many ripples and turns. In lunch, we were served fun Punjabi food with Gulab Jamun as dessert.

My Responsibility as a Leader

Each group had a leader to oversee the respective team members. I was the leader of our group. It was a huge responsibility that my teachers had entrusted to me. Because of this, I was also a little worried that there should be no mistake. Such places are very pleasurable, but if precautions are taken, then accidents happen, the situation remains the same. Maybe that’s why I was not able to enjoy the water park with all my heart. But once the caravan started, then everything was back to normal. I had a lot of fun too. We left the park at 5 in the evening and by about seven-and-a-half all were safely back to our school.

Picnic is one of the most enjoyable and memorable moments spent with your friends. It refreshes our tired nerves. Picnic gives temporary respite to students from their studies. After enjoying the picnic, we get filled with new energy and study afresh. Every school and college arranges picnics for its students.

I was in the sixth grade when my school administration arranged for a picnic in the zoo. I was very excited for the picnic. The day before the picnic, I went with my father to the nearby shop to buy some snacks for the picnic. I bought chips, cookies, soy sticks and a few packets of chewing gum.

This was probably the only day in the whole year when I was packing my things the previous night, apparently because I didn’t want to be late on the day of the picnic. After preparing my things I had a conference call with my friends. We discussed how excited we all were for our picnic.

We fixed the time the next day from where everyone was going to gather together. Even though I could not sleep till late in the night, I got up before the alarm. I had reached the school half an hour before the time at around 7 in the morning. We had to be in jodi on this day, which was decided on the basis of roll numbers, luckily for me I partnered with my friend whose number was right next to mine. Laughing, jumping, dancing and playing, we reached the destination. On reaching there we were fed ice cream.

We were all excited to step into the zoo. First we had to enter the bird section where we saw many diverse and beautiful birds. We saw the toucan, a bird with a large black and yellow beak, the kingfisher, a small bird with the most vivid colors, the hornbill, a beautiful bird with a horn-like head, and the albatross, a fine white and black colored aquatic habitat. with some birds. We also saw deer, hippopotamus, fox, wolf, crocodile, wild ass, yellow python snake, bear and many more. But our favorites were still left over, where we had to go after lunch.

Finally, post lunch was the time for which we were all so excited – to see the fastest animal, the cheetah, the national animal tiger and of course, the king of the jungle, the lion. We also saw Jaguars and Leopards.

We sat there on a mini toy train that took us on a ride around the lake. Everyone had gathered after completing the ride. It was almost 5 o’clock it was time to go home. The teachers started counting the number of students, which led them to conclude that a child in our class was missing. The teachers were terrified, but they were finally able to find him, after a 10-minute search operation.

Today, it may have been a mere picnic to a zoo, but when I remember back I realized how these little things used to make me happy.

We remember school picnics forever. This is the time when we are the only ones we live in. There is no worry about anything. Otherwise, all the time we are surrounded by many problems of studies and career.

The teacher collected all the students in the canteen area for lunch. All the students brought their lunch boxes. We shared our food and enjoyed lunch.

After lunch, we moved to the bird and reptile section. There we saw different birds that I was never seen before. All the birds were very colorful and looked so amazing. We also studied the board that described the animals in the cage. Our teacher also gave us information regarding the animals. We saw two peacocks with their feathers open. The scene was really awesome. Then we moved to the reptile section. Most of the reptiles were kept in glass cages while some are kept in soil that is well packed from a safety point of view. Many huge snakes like python and cobra were looking dangerous. I saw all of them from a distance as I am afraid of snakes.

The day ended so soon that it turned evening. The teacher collected all the students near the school bus. The bus was filled with silence, no one was even talking. All of us were very tired. Some students even slept on their seats. The bus dropped us at our bus stops and we reached home.

We collected lots of memories during the picnic. Every year we eagerly wait for the picnic time. It is only one day’s enjoyment but the impact remains for the whole year of our life. On a picnic, every small thing makes us happy. Remembering those days still gives me goosebumps and happiness. I always miss my school picnic and my friends.

Last summer our family went to a memorable picnic at a nearby water park. The day when we spoke for the first time about going to a picnic, the adrenaline rush has been started flowing within us. We all left our home and soon were on our way to the picnic. The car was full of chatters. Every family member was so excited about the picnic with the family. Finally, we reached our destination. The moment we reached the ticket window, the kids in the family started jumping with excitement. While we were purchasing the tickets, the kids started getting restless to wait. Then we entered for our awaiting adventure for the picnic with the family. As soon as we entered, the beauty of the place welcomed us with a cool breeze on our faces.

We put on the costumes and entered the pool. The coldness of the water was soothing one. Each splash brought a smile on everyone’s face. Everybody went back to their childhood. The youngest one in the picnic with family was 3.5-year-old, who had entered the pool for the first time. He was the happiest amongst all. After spending a considerate amount of time playing with water, we had to struggle a lot to take kids out from the pool. What a memorable time it was during a picnic with the family.

Then we started heading towards the food zone. The fun in the pool has led to an empty stomach which was making a lot of funny noise. And the aroma of the delicious food which was coming from the food zone had aced our pace towards it.

The kids in the family started making a list of all the things that they wanted to eat. We ordered everyone’s favorite dish and sat waiting for the food to come. This waiting time was the most torturous one. And finally, our hot and tasty food came. We literally attacked it like the hungry animals. The next 30 minutes was complete silence. Everybody in the picnic with family was busy enjoying their own favorite delicacy. We finished eating and left for home.

Though the picnic with family was over, still it is alive in over memories. All the good time we spent together, a lot of beautiful pictures, will always be with us in our memories. We will soon plan our next picnic with family to rejoice our love, bonding, and happiness together.
