Gory Indian action drama has violence, drinking, smoking.

K.G.F -- Chapter 1: The film's hero, a bearded Indian man stands with his red shirt slightly unbuttoned

'KGF: Chapter 2' Review: A terrific Yash powers an explosive sequel

A still from KGF. (File Photo)

Four years ago, the makers of KGF: Chapter 1 made a promise. A promise of making the biggest Kannada film that will reach new avenues and newer audiences. And today, they are back with KGF: Chapter 2, and if the responses are anything to go by, the promise has been kept. Written and directed by Prashanth Neel, who is a superstar in his own right, the KGF films have grasped the entire nation’s consciousness and reinvented the time-tested story of an underdog coming on top surmounting all odds. But then, when the underdog in question is the seemingly invincible Rocky Bhai (Yash), every element of the masala template is dialled up to astronomical levels.

The second part continues right from where the first part ends. We now see the “pillars” of Narachi being forced to accept Rocky as their new boss. Of course, this leads to resentment across the board, and it is clear that betrayals will be hitting Rocky left, right, and centre. But we don’t watch KGF for the ingenuity of the plot, but for inventiveness in the making. Whenever we think a high point of a particular conflict is reached, it is almost like Prashanth is giving a lopsided smile hinting as if it was just the tip of an iceberg. This is something that happens on more than one occasion and is a testament to the impact of the writing. For instance, in other films, the meeting of Adheera and Rocky might have been the ideal climactic showdown.

movie review kgf

However, here we have three brilliant sequences featuring them where there is an oscillation of power, and each of these scenes delivers the grandeur and intensity that KGF will forever be known for. Another facet of KGF that will be always associated with the franchise is hyper-stylised violence. While there is a lot to discuss where the film falls on the moral spectrum, the arresting visual style of the film masks such thought processes during its runtime.

A lot of such questions do arise while watching KGF 2, the primary of which is the terribly underwritten female lead. With Srinidhi Shetty’s Reena suffering from a severe case of Stockholm Syndrome, one can’t help but feel bad about her character sketch. It is troubling because even smaller roles like the one played by Easwari Rao get a neatly rounded arc. Surely Reena and Srinidhi deserved better.

The film also almost runs the risk of feeling bloated, especially in the pre-interval portions, because there are a lot of layers being packed in too quick a time. There are one too many villains, and one too many crisscrossing storylines. Even the final few minutes of the film left a vacuous feeling because I wasn’t sure if it did justice to the events that transpired across two films and eight years.

However, the towering performance of Yash ensures these are just fleeting thoughts and we don’t really dwell on them because the actor, in supreme form, keeps us hooked on his brand of nonchalance acting. More than his playful turns, it is the emotional beats that are most effective, and the rage-filled eyes of Yash say more than what he does in his trademark broken English. And these dialogues not just add to the constant undercurrent of humour, but also has noteworthy lines that can go right on motivational posters. Sample this, “Greed is good… Greed is progress…” Yes, it is, Rocky Bhai. Another writing highlight of KGF: Chapter 2 is how a buildup song in this edition also acts as a quick narration of the first part. It checks both the ingenious and inventive boxes. Of course, there is no point discussing the logic, or the lack of it, of this film, which always stays true to the world created by Prashanth Neel.

The brilliant technical team conjures mesmerising visuals to keep us invested in the world of KGF. Keeping the colour palette to a minimum, cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda gives us some stunning visuals that capture the grandeur of the project without really showboating. No aspect of this opulence feels wasted or overboard. Be it the vast expanses of the mines or the never-ending shots of an array of vehicles including cars, planes, ships, bikes, helicopters etc… every visual element of KGF stands tall. If there is showboating of any sort, it is in the editing by Ujwal Kulkarni. And even here, the work might seem excessive, but in an over-the-top world of KGF, it fits in perfectly.

Three other technicians who truly elevate KGF: Chapter 2 are composer Ravi Basrur (the chest-thumping background score), art director Shivakumar (the tasteful coronation stairs, the greyness of the mines, and more), and stunt choreographers Anbariv (every scene involving Yash brandishing weapons, the car sequences, and more). Àlmost every high moment of KGF: Chapter 2 is the collaborative work of each department, and it is wonderful to see how each of them worked like clockwork to deliver this grand spectacle.

The concept of pan-Indian movies might have now been reduced to a gimmick in most cases, but the KGF franchise is a true-blue example of this developing trend. The success of the first part pushed the makers to dream bigger, and they managed to rope in names like Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Rao Ramesh, and Prakash Raj to lend necessary gravitas to roles that were already hyped up. Sanjay Dutt is menacing as Adheera, the primary antagonist, and writer-director Prashanth treats him with the right amount of respect. Adheera has moments that place him ahead of Rocky Bhai, and the same holds good for Raveena’s Ramika Sen. Both actors ace the roles that don’t just exist to do lip service to the larger-than-life lead character.

Replacing Anant Nag was never going to be an easy task, but points to the writing that seamlessly introduces Prakash Raj into the mix. There is a fascinating mix of humility and pride in his baritone as he delivers the narration. Although the film boasts of such big names, KGF: Chapter 2 never loses focus on what it is actually about — Yash and Rocky Bhai — and it is the relentless attempts at elevating the star at the centre of it all that gives us a fantastic film that proves the world will always be accepting of one more “mother sentiment” film.

At an important juncture in KGF: Chapter 2, Rocky asks his detractors to avoid pointless conversations about him keeping to his territory. He announces, “The World is my territory”, and if the response to an early morning show of the Tamil version of the film is anything to go by, we have an outsider breaking down walls to become the most unlikely pan-Indian superstar... or as he’d like it... Pan-India’s ONLY Rocking Star.

KGF: Chapter 1 movie review — Yash-starrer has a gripping story that deserved better treatment

KGF: Chapter 1 tries a little too hard.

KGF: Chapter 1 movie review — Yash-starrer has a gripping story that deserved better treatment

It’s all very well to want to repeat a Baahubali , but filmmakers aspiring for that kind of scale must know this: at the core of every great epic is heart. It scores above everything else, including effective performances, great visuals, rousing music and direction.

That way, KGF: Chapter 1 tries a little too hard. The film has a solid story line. A young orphan grows up to become a don who seeks his place in the world. Helping him retain his moral core and propelling him towards greatness are nuggets of advice handed out by his mother who died young. But, KGF: Chapter 1 fails to tap into the emotional side of the characters. That effectively prevents you from buying into why the characters behave the way they do.

The film is structured in such a way that Yash (well-chiselled, suitably grim) is present through the film but hardly has 15 minutes of talking to do. His valour and strength are narrated by others, and when it gets a bit much, you’re reminded of the original instruction rookie writers are given: Show, don’t tell.

The film opens with the country’s Prime Minister announcing in 1981 that she’s sending the Army to capture India’s worst criminal. And then, you see Yash’s silhouette. You’re told the Government has banned a book written on him by journalist Anand and the entire stock is burnt; one survives, and the film is about the author speaking about the man whose story was never told.

Veteran Anant Nag plays Anand, who recites poetry from his book and page numbers by rote, nearly four decades after it was banned. Listening to him is hotshot journalist Deepa (Malavika Avinash) who initially gives him half an hour, but is listening even as the end credits roll.

Young orphan Ramakrishna heads to Bombay from Karnataka, polishes shoes for a living and slowly grows up the ranks of the city’s underworld to become don Rocky. He gets a chance to make Bombay his, if he finishes some work in Bangalore. In between, he meets a girl (Srinidhi Shetty) and sets out to the place after which the film is named. His brief is to vanquish the enemy, but he also ends up empowering 20,000 workers.

There are scenes with great potential. In one, which also sees the heroine falling for him, Rocky stops the car in the middle of a road and helps a woman with a child pick up her bag and a bun that’s rolled off. He begins speaking about how he could buy a bun only after polishing eight pairs of shoes and how a mother is the biggest warrior of them all, and even as you wait to see if you’ll get glimpses of a tortured childhood, the scene cuts to the heroine melting for his actions.

This, after a typical hero-heroine introduction in the middle of the road (again!), where she has stalled traffic so she can party with her friends. He fights her goons, she’s miffed, but he thinks she’s lucky he’s fallen for her. “Congratulations, I love you,” he says. “How dare you,’ she replies. “How fair you,” he retorts, even as you wince. Elsewhere, the misogyny in the dialogues continue. Men are told to wear bangles twice. Rocky is dared to touch the girl in front of everyone; he does not, and the girl’s face falls. Sigh. You expect more from a film that supposedly celebrates the mother as warrior.

Also read:   KGF: Chapter 1 — Actor Yash on releasing film in five languages, and putting talent before seniority

The film ambles around in Bombay and Bangalore (with even a club song, featuring Tamannaah Bhatia) till it moves to the actual theatre of war – Kolar Gold Fields.

Tighter editing (Srikanth) would have smoothened out the kinks. About 20,000 labourers are enslaved and made to dig out gold from the giving mines by antagonist Garuda (Ramachandra) and his henchmen. Girls are killed the minute they are born – this is a brutal place. The boys grow up seeing those blind with age get killed, and live in hope of the saviour the storyteller (another worker who narrates stories to keep their hunger away) promises them.

The action sequences by Anbariv are beautifully executed and performed by Yash; the interval block and the fight deep inside the mines using torches and a red-hot rod are poetic. Of course, there’s gore too, and human sacrifice. But, like Rocky’s mother told him, if you inspire a 1000 people who stand behind you, you can conquer the world. How Rocky did it will probably be the big reveal of Part 2, even if it’s not a question on the lines of ‘Why did Kattappa kill Baahubali’.

Music by Ravi Barsur is soothing and inspiring in turn, while cinematography by Bhuvan Gowda is suitably panoramic. Credit to art director Shivakumar for bringing alive the grime and heat of the gold mines. The costume department slips up, though, and in the midst of the 80s wide collar, you suddenly have clothes that would feel right at home in 2018.

This film begins in 1951 and narrates the story till the 1980s. Part two will hopefully capture the gold rush and the quest for power too. So, who will take over the empire that Suryavardhan (the man who operated the mines, enslaved people, and told the world it was a limestone quarry) built and parcelled off among five people?

Just one question. What’s the possibility of two totally different films – one in Kannada and another in Tamil ( Maari 2 ) releasing on the same day having a similar dialogue. “If you think you’re bad, I’m your dad.”

Yash's 'KGF Chapter 2' movie review: Rocky bhai's machismo thrills throughout

Ajish Jimmy George

Director Prashant Neel's magnum opus sequel of 'KGF Chapter 1' is all set to fight it out at the box office with Thalapathy Vijay's 'Beast'.

Indeed, the two movies have similarities and the most obvious being the heroes who can withstand the onslaught of an army alone.

With rocking star Yash in the lead, the second KGF franchise can be credited with the achievement of giving Kannada cinema a pan-India recognition.

Though critics had torn apart the first part of the film in reviews for poor editing and lack of substance, its box office performance had proven that director Neel's choices connected well with his audience.

movie review kgf

'Chapter 2' is all about elevating the mass appeal achieved by the first part to the next level.

movie review kgf

The plot is rather simple, Garuda is dead and Rocky (Yash) now has to face the challenges posed by the people who sent him to KGF, Adheera (Sanjay Dutt) and a powerful politician Ramika Sen (played by Raveena Tandon).

If Ramachandra Raju as Garuda seemed to be a strong villain in the first part, then you should see Sanjay Dutt in the second one. It might seem far stretched to portray him as a Viking-style warrior, but he pulls it off easily.

movie review kgf

There is a tale about Adheera's sword and the blood it has seen in the past, but in the movie, it doesn't get to see much blood as Rocky has to divide his time between other enemies as well.

The character of Ramika Sen is clearly modelled after Indira Gandhi and the fabulous Raveena Tandon fits into the role perfectly, commanding the respect a prime minister deserves.

Ravi Basrur's music and background score was one factor that took the first part to people's hearts and chapter 2 also does the same magic. The 'Toofan' song gives a quick recap of the events from 'KGF Chapter 1'.

If the previous story was narrated by a journalist Anand (Anand Nag), this time his son Vijayendra (Prakash Raj) continues the task.

Also, similar to the first part, a lot of time is spent by Yash praising his own character and other characters are also allotted much time to hail Rocky's valour. While mothers and children are comfortable sharing time with Rocky bhai, others shudder in fear.

It is said that human life is not valued much in India because of the huge population, in 'KGF Chapter 2,' this is literally true as there are always more people to die. Just when you think that all the people supporting Yash in different cities of India have been killed, it is revealed that he had a reserve army of people in all those cities who would again rise to kill his enemies.

Yes, different cities in India. The scale of the movie is huge and it is not the story of a local gangster, but in Rocky's own words a “monster” who “owns India” or maybe even the world.

Rocky's love for Reena (Srinidhi Shetty) was revealed in the first part and you would have thought she too had the same feeling for him. But in the beginning of the movie itself, she is brought to 'Naraachi' as a captive and kept as an “entertainment” for Rocky. What happens next is somewhat like the way Raavan keeps Sita in 'Ramayana.' He treats her like queen and waits for her approval to marry. Unlike in Ramayana, Reena falls for Rocky after coming to know about his past and the reason for his never-ending greed for gold.

The stunts in 'KGF' were the best part of it, however, a chase sequence could have been portrayed better without the blackout pattern in editing. It had all the potential to be made like a 'Fast and Furious' chase scene. Cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda's frames are worth the big screen and though largely grey and black, the colours come into play when Rocky's swag needs it.

There is a lot of violence and also lots and lots of whistle-worthy moments in the film. If you love watching action thrillers with mass dialogues, this movie is for you. There is also a hint of a third chapter. So watch out for that as well.

KGF: Chapter 2 Movie Review

Article by Suman M Published by GulteDesk --> Published on: 5:31 am, 14 April 2022

158 Minutes   |   Action Drama   |   04-14-2022

Cast - Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj and others

Director - Prashant Neel

Producer - Vijay Kirgandur

Banner - Hombale Films

Music - Ravi Basrur

KGF Chapter 1 turned out one of the biggest blockbusters due to its unprecedented elevations and making. That raised more expectations for Chapter 2 and the movie hit the screens today, after a long wait. KGF Chapter 2 made a huge prerelease business worldwide already. With the protagonist Yash being the center of the KGF story, this time the new stars Raveena Tandon and Sanjay Dutt joined in to make it much bigger. Directed by Prashant Neel, KGF Chapter 2 was released with huge hype, and here is the review from the US Premieres.

What Is It About?

The famous journalist Anand had to stop narrating the story of Rocky and KGF due to a heart stroke and his son Vijayendra Vasiraju (Prakash Raj) continues the narration. While the first chapter concluded with Rocky killing Garuda in a most shocking way, the second chapter deals with Rocky’s rule in KGF with new and unexpected enemies like Ramika Sen (Raveena Tandon) and Adheera (Sanjay Dutt) trying to take him down. How Rocky deals with his rivals and how he keeps the KGF under his thumb is all about the KGF Chapter 2.

Performances

For those who have watched the first Chapter, it is needless to explain that Yash continues the same mannerisms, style, and body language in this one too. Yash keeps up with the elevation scenes and action blocks, and he did well like earlier. The catch is that the story is completely based on elevations and fights that come in regular intervals.

Srinidhi Shetty had been given the grumpy expression that she put up in the first part and she continues the same. She has got nothing much really. Raveena Tandon appears in a strong role, but only for a brief part in the second half. She did alright in it.

Sanjay Dutt is shown as the most powerful and the mighty Adheera. There are scenes where Adheera appears the strongest and scariest, but there are also other scenes where he looks weak and dull.

Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh, and others are fine in their respective roles and they mostly go in a flat track.

Technicalities

KGF has set the expectations on how rugged and rustic the film could be. The Chapter is no different with the dark smoke and dirt all around. The cinematography is very good and there are certain action blocks that are elevated with the set frames. The visuals are rich.

The background score is good and in fact loud at times. The screenplay is well set and so is the editing. The trimming of some slow episodes in the second half could have delivered a crisp run time.

Yash Some Action Episodes

Thumbs Down

Slow Second Half Illogical scenes Love track Some Pale Elevations

KGF Chapter 1 dealt with an outraged man taking the throne of the biggest gold mine by killing many big heads, which no one ever expected to happen. If the first part is about the rise of Rocky Bhai, the chapter is about his rule. The fearless and arrogant Rocky Bhai ruling the KGF and locking horns with the government of India is shown in this part.

Needless to say, the first part of KGF grabbed the spotlight all of a sudden due to high-octane action scenes that involve never-before elevations. The director simply repeated the same template here in the second part, except that his best elevations remained in the previous part. The plots and plans by Rocky Bhai were surprising and impressive back then, but most of them in this chapter could be anticipated.

Comparisons apart, Rocky and the ruthless Adheera confrontation scenes are interesting. Also, the climax fight between the both is engaging. The director bringing back the hammer of Rocky to face the mighty sword of Adheera is one of the good action parts.

Rocky testing the big gun at the police station is the scene that completely thrills the audience. Rocky’s visit to the police station just for one gold bar depicts how rigid he is. The firing of bullets for minutes and the red hot gun barrel shows the intensity of how particular he is for anything he wants.

In the car chase scene in the first half, Rocky taking Adheera down with ‘Kalashnikov’ armory remains among the decent action scenes.

Rocky coming face to face with the Prime Minister herself in her office with a case file and declaring his arrival and capacity is one of the highlight scenes.

Coming to the dialogues, Rocky’s mannerism of speaking in broken English worked only a little this time, but there are mention-worthy dialogues like, Biryani – Qurbani, Mongoose in Snake and Ladder game, the CEO of India, Powerful people make places powerful, Rocky’s gravity, etc.

The first half goes alright with racy narration, elevations (not as powerful as in the first part), and some powerful action episodes. The second half slows down with Adheera missing for a long time and the love track which also comes with an uninteresting song.

There is another track with Gurupandian politics in between the war of PM and Rocky Bhai. The narration at times feels racy, but most of the time it appears rushed, leaving no time for the audience to compile on what’s happening.

KGF itself is mainly based on heroism and elevations, but too many of the stunts and sycophancy without any depth in it failed to impress here. There are scenes that come and go without an actual emotion. It is like a fort of elevations alone, that may make the mass and action-loving fans look up. The reason why Rocky is after the gold is revealed in the end, but it does not really make sense when we recap everything he did for it. Well, the director left a hint in Chapter 3 that probably shows Rocky’s international crime.

Overall, KGF Chapter 2 has all the pages filled with hype and elevations in bold, but the story only in very few lines in a small font in a preface. The First Chapter of KGF was enjoyed hugely by the masses due to the stunning elevations and action scenes, but the second chapter came out with similar stuff and with more expectations. KGF Chapter 2 may get on well if and only the mass audience once again embraces it.

Bottom line: Not A Monster

KGF Movie Review: Brilliant Cinematography, Challenging Action Sequences

KGF Movie Review: Brilliant Cinematography, Challenging Action Sequences

KGF is a period drama depicting the hero's journey from being a downtrodden to the most powerful and dreaded man in town.

Cast: Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Achyuth Kumar

Director: Prashanth Neel

With a larger-than-life character, director Prashanth Neel's K.G.F. - Chapter 1 is a period drama depicting the hero's journey from being a downtrodden to the most "powerful" and dreaded man in town.

Set in 1981 and going back and forth in time, it is Rocky's tale, narrated from a journalist's point of view who had chronicled his life from 1951. How he metamorphosed from a timid boy to an ambitious teenager to a fearless gangster, forms the crux of this tale.

Despite being strong, brutal and hard-nosed, Rocky has a heart of gold. His heart bleeds for the poor, helpless and the hungry. In this first chapter, his mission as a mercenary, is a complex and convoluted plan to kill the ruthless owners of the Kolar Gold Field. But during his stay there, he manages to save the lives of the miners who are slaves of the mine owners and thus becomes their messiah.

Read: Zero Movie Review

Read: Kedarnath Movie Review

Released in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu, the film has all the trappings of a South Indian potboiler inclusive of stop motion, freeze frame, over-the-top action sequences and melodrama.

The performances of every actor are praiseworthy but with tight close-ups and mid-shots the camera stops us from getting emotionally connected to them. Yash's endurance, strife and sincerity thus get projected as perfunctory. His dialogues, with blockbuster dramatic lines are noteworthy. He hits the right notes when he says, "If you think I am bad, I am your dad!"

With intense atmospheric lighting, every frame in the film looks aesthetic and natural. Brilliant cinematography and equally challenging action sequences are put together with razor-sharp edits. They give the film a racy pace.

The songs mesh seamlessly in to the narrative especially the song, Gali, Gali , picturised on Mouni Roy. It is a remix from Tridev and is astutely choreographed. The background score during the climax and end too seems like one borrowed from Salman Khan's Sultan . Its rising notes drum up the emotions, "that powerful people come from powerful place".

On the flip side, there are a few mismatched dialogues delivered by the children in the mining town which are not in sync with the setting. The snappy edits with parallel cuts, though interesting make the viewing a bit disorienting. Also, the narrative packed with montages laid over on a voice track makes the film appear more passive than active.

Review: ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ betters its predecessor in every department

Review: 'KGF: Chapter 2' betters its predecessor in every department

  • Release Date: 14/04/2022
  • Cast: Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj, Achyuth Kumar
  • Director: Prashanth Neel

KGF: Chapter 2  begins exactly where  Chapter 1  had left off. Rocky (Yash) has killed Garuda and has taken control of the Kolar Gold Fields (KGF). The conspirators who had sent him to kill Garuda are taken aback by this sudden change of fate and decide to eliminate Rocky. However, Rocky proves to be equal to the task and easily subdues them with his swag and muscle power. In desperation, the conspirators turn to Adheera (Sanjay Dutt), a vicious and brutal killer who was presumed dead and has a legitimate claim to the throne of KGF. He makes a towering comeback and nearly brings Rocky to his knees. What is left to be seen is how Rocky responds. He has a history of hitting back the hardest when pushed to the wall. Will he do the same again or will Adheera prove to be too strong for him to contend with. To know the answers to those questions, you have to watch the film at a theatre near you.

Elaborate story, engaging screenplay, and effective direction

KGF: Chapter 2  is relentless in its storytelling. For a film that is 168 minutes long, there isn’t a single dull moment. The speed of the narrative remains consistently breakneck but does give the viewers enough time to absorb the content on display. I thought that the pacing might come down a little in the second half as is customary with most films but that never happened. The story is so dense and has so many elements, twists, and underlying emotions and drama that I would not be wrong to say that it has enough material to propel three films.

Prashanth Neel’s direction is masterful. Every sequence feels like a short film in itself as it begins slowly, gathers momentum, and reaches a crescendo by the time it arrives at its culmination and ends with the desired release of the tension and excitement for the audience. This aspect of the film is common for all the sequences be it simple exchanges, dramatic show-offs, or complex action sequences. The sequences are designed and executed in such a way that allows the visual and auditory presentation to milk the last ounce of machismo from the protagonist and the many antagonists. The result is a film that will give you a thousand reasons to cheer in its runtime.

Prashanth Neel Confirms KGF Chapter 3

By Rohan Verma

The KGF franchise has captivated audiences with its gripping storyline and stellar performances. While the fans are eagerly waiting for its third installment, director Prashanth Neel recently confirmed that KGF 3 would happen.

Directed by Prashanth Neel, the franchise’s first installment, KGF: Chapter 1, made its debut in 2018, garnering widespread acclaim. Produced by Hombale Films, the film boasted a talented cast, including Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Vasishta N. Simha, Ramachandra Raju, and others. With an estimated budget of $9.5 million, KGF: Chapter 1 raked in an impressive $29.9 million at the box office.

Following the success of the first part, director Prashant Neel treated fans with KGF: Chapter 2 in 2022. Once again, Yash and Srinidhi reprised their roles, with Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt joining the cast as the antagonist.

The sequel continued the story from the first part and achieved significant commercial success, earning the title of the fourth highest-grossing Indian film. Notably, KGF: Chapter 2 became the first Kannada film to be released in IMAX theaters.

For those eager to experience these blockbuster releases, both are currently available for streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar in multiple languages.

Prashanth Neel gives an update on KGF Chapter 3

With the franchise’s overwhelming popularity, fans eagerly anticipate the third installment release. In an interview director Prashanth Neel said , “We are ready to go with Salaar 2, but I just need to take a break, I just caught off with KGF when I was into Salaar. I need to take a break.”

Confirming the KGF 3, he continued and said, “KGF 3 will happen, KGF 3 is also scripted, was already written otherwise we wouldn’t put it in Part 2, but in the end, everyone knew that we are making Part 3. This is what we have to align again.”

Further, Neel highlighted the busy schedules of lead actor Yash and producer Vijay Kiragandur. He concluded confidently and said, “We just have to clear our schedules one day, and we are gonna start it.”

As fans eagerly await further updates, it remains to be seen when the makers will commence the shoot for KGF: Chapter 3. Until then, the excitement surrounding the franchise continues to grow with each passing day.

The film is structured in such a way that Yash (well-chiselled, suitably grim) is present through the film but hardly has 15 minutes of talking to do.
