Panjab University Distance Education Admission 2024 | USOL PU | UG & PG Courses, Fee & Eligibility

Panjab University Distance Education

Panjab University Distance Education 2024: USOL Panjab Distance Education admission process will open in the first week of June 2024 (tentative) for the July session. The courses offered for admission such as BA, BCom, BEd, and Blis in the UG program and MA, MCom, and MBA under the PG course. 

Eligibility for admission to Panjab University, UG course applicants must have passed 10+2 in any subject and PG candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in relevant subjects. The university course fee is between Rs 5000 to 25,000/- per year. 

Applicants can fill out the online admission form at @cdoe.puchd.ac.in.  Almost every course admission is based on the merit list for the last exam marks obtained. The expected last date for Panjab University Distance Education admission 2024 form submission is 30 July 2024 .

Panjab University Distance Education Overview

PUSOL, or Panjab University School of Open Learning learning, offers BA, BCom, and BEd programs at an undergraduate level.

Panjab University Distance Education offers a Bachelor of Education to students who qualify for the common entrance test. The university follows NCTE norms for education and admission. There are only 800 seats available in the university for USOL BEd Admission. The cost of the BEd application form is Rs 500/-.

BCom Distance Education Panjab University Admission

Panjab University offers admission to the BCom Course, which lasts 3 years, but students can pursue it through distance and at their own convenience. The fee for the distance course is less than a regular course. The admission process for the course is based on an online procedure, and the application form is available on the university website.

Those students who want to be admitted to the course must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board or university with a minimum passing mark in it.

Panjab University Distance Education BA Admission

The University will choose the Candidates who are applying for admission to the BA Program after comparing their Previous academic achievements and qualifications. Students are advised to pass the Higher Secondary Exam(12th) with a minimum average score of 50% marks. Students can see the fee Structure from the University’s Official portal.

PU B.Ed Correspondence Admission 2024

The online registration fee for the BEd ODL program at USOL is Rs 500  for General candidates and Rs 300 for SC/ST/Persons with disabilities.

Counselling fees charged by the university is Rs 500 which will be payable at the time of counseling.

Duration: The duration of the Bachelor of Education course is 2 years.

Admission Process: Admission to 800 seats of the BEd correspondence course will be made on the basis of merit of marks obtained by a candidate in the qualifying examination only.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates who fulfill the following eligibility conditions are eligible to apply for admission:

• A trained elementary education in-service teacher.
• A teacher education program recognized by NCTE that is completed in a face-to-face (regular) format.

Panjab University Distance Education PG Admission

The students looking to enroll in the PG-level courses would soon be able to register their names by completing their registration forms. The applicant’s sole responsibility is to ensure that they can complete the minimum eligibility requirement for admission into the course before filling out the registration form.

For PG admission, universities offer courses like MBA, MA in Panjabi, English, Hindi, History, Economics, Political Science, Religious Studies, Sikh Studies, Women’s Studies, and MCom. For PG admission, students have to visit the university’s official website and apply there. 

Panjab University Distance Education MA

A master of Arts degree is a 2-year duration program that offers to learn English, history, political science, and others. Panjab University distance education selects candidates based on their merit score and previous examination. For MA distance admission, candidates have to complete BA or other equivalent degree courses from a well-known university and must obtain 50% marks.

Panjab University Distance Education MBA

The duration of the program is 2 years. The admission eligibility for this program is a bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university. One must have at least 50% marks in graduation. The University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS) at Panjab University Campus has started offering specialized management programs aligned to various industry sectors and streams.

Panjab University USOL Eligibility Criteria

For USOL Bachelor of Commerce Admission: + 2 examinations or BCom Part I (Old Scheme) of Panjab University with three of the following subjects securing at least 40% marks in the aggregate Commerce (or theory of commerce or foundation course in commerce) Accountancy (or Bookkeeping and Accountancy) Economics Mathematics or (statistics) Business Organisation (or Business Management or Theory and Practice of Management)

For UG admission, students have to pass 10+2 or an equivalent degree with 45% to 55% marks from a recognized board of education to qualify.

For PG admission, students must have a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in any discipline from a recognized university.

USOL Panjab University Courses List

Students can get the application form from the university’s official website or study center or directly from the university campus. Students can apply for admission through online or offline mode. For online mode, students have to visit the university’s official website and apply there, and for offline mode, students have to visit the university campus and apply there. The application fee is INR 500  for all students. Students can pay the application fee through Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking.

Punjabi University was established in 1962 and is today located in Patiala, Punjab by Former Indian President Dr S. Radhakrishnan. The University is set in a lush green place that is free from pollution, in an area of 316 acres. The University became an affiliating university in 1969 and has been affiliated with more than 43 colleges.

Currently, the University has 27 regional centers that facilitate the distance education mode, with 274 colleges affiliated with Punjabi University.
