    UPSC यूपीएससी (संघ लोकसेवा आयोग) ही एक स्वतंत्र संस्था आहे, जी लेव्हल अ आणि लेव्हल ब चे कर्मचारी भरती करण्यासाठी परीक्षा आयोजित करते. यूपीएससी द्वारे प्रत्येक वर्षी परीक्षा घेतल्या जातात, यातून ऐकून 24 पदांची भरती केली जाते. ही 24 पदे ही देशातील सर्वोच्च नागरी सेवा आहेत. भारतात घेतल्या जाणाऱ्या सर्वात कठीण परीक्षांमध्ये UPSC चे नाव आहे.

     यूपीएससी चे मुख्यालय हे नवी दिल्ली येथे स्थित आहे. यूपीएससी संस्थेची स्थापना 1 ऑक्टोबर 1926 रोजी करण्यात आली व नंतर UPSC ला भारतीय संविधान नुसार मान्यता देण्यात आली. यूपीएससी संस्था पूर्णपणे केंद्र सरकारच्या नियंत्रणात असते, राज्य सरकारला यात हस्तक्षेप करण्यास अनुमती नसते. संघ लोकसेवा आयोगाच्या परीक्षेतून आयएएस, आयपीएस, आयएफएस असे विविध अधिकारी निवडले जातात.

यूपीएससी (UPSC) चा इतिहास (History of UPSC in Marathi)

    यूपीएससी ची कल्पना 1854 मध्ये ब्रिटिश ईस्ट इंडिया कंपनी द्वारे सुचवली गेली होती. लोकांना त्यांच्या योग्यतेनुसार नोकरी मिळावी यासाठी योग्यता आधारित सिव्हिल सेवा परीक्षा (UPSC) ची सुरुवात केली गेली. सुरुवातीच्या काळात ही परीक्षा लंडन मध्ये आयोजित केली जात असे, व याचा अभ्यासक्रम असा बनवला होता की फक्त ब्रिटिश उमेदवार यशस्वी होत असत.

    अशी अवस्था असतानाही 1864 श्री. सत्येंद्रनाथ टागोर यूपीएससी मध्ये यशस्वी होणारे पहिले भारतीय व्यक्ती बनले. श्री. सत्येंद्रनाथ टागोर हे श्री. रवींद्रनाथ टागोर यांचे भाऊ होते. काही वर्षांनी पहिले महायुद्ध सुरू झाले व मौन्टेंग्यू चेम्सफोर्ड यांच्या सुधारणेमुळे यूपीएससी परीक्षा भारतात आयोजित केली जाऊ लागली व 1 ऑक्टोबर 1926 रोजी भारतात संघ लोकसेवा आयोग ची स्थापना करण्यात आली.

    त्या वेळेस सर रॉस बार्कर, होम सिव्हिल सर्विस, युनायटेड किंगडम च्या सदस्य आयोगाचे पहिले अध्यक्ष होते. 26 जानेवारी 1950 मध्ये भारताच्या संविधानाची सुरुवात झाली व यासोबतच संघ लोकसेवा आयोगाच्या मान्यता मिळाली.

यूपीएससी (UPSC) परीक्षेसाठी पात्रता (UPSC Exam Eligibility in Marathi)

    यूपीएससी परीक्षेला बसण्याची तयारी करत असाल तर यूपीएससी साठी ची UPSC Exam Eligibility पात्रता आपल्याला माहीत असली पाहिजे. आपल्या कॅटेगरी नुसार पात्रता मध्ये बदल असतात. आपण येथे यूपीएससी ची पात्रता काय आहे हे पाहुयात.

1) शिक्षण (UPSC Educational Eligibility)

यूपीएससी परीक्षा देण्यासाठी विद्यार्थी मान्यताप्राप्त विद्यापीठातून कोणत्याही शाखेचा पदवीधर असावा. मुक्त विद्यापीठातील पदवीही ग्राह्य मानली जाते. पदवी ही किमान पात्रता आहे सर्वोच्च पात्रता कोणतीही असू शकते. फक्त भारतीय नागरिक UPSC Exam साठी पात्र आहेत. फक्त भारतीय नागरिक UPSC Exam देऊ शकतात.

2) वयोमर्यादा (UPSC Age Limit)

पदवीधर असल्यासोबत विद्यार्थ्यांचे वय सुद्धा पात्रता टप्प्यात असले पाहिजे. उमेदवार च्या जातीनुसार वयोमर्यादा मध्ये विविधता आहे, ते समजण्यासाठी खालील टेबल आपल्याला उपयोगी ठरेल.

1) यूपीएससी पूर्व परीक्षा (UPSC Prelims Exam Pattern)

    यूपीएससी मुख्य परीक्षा ची पात्रता ठरवण्यासाठी ही परीक्षा घेतली जाते. जे उमेदवार पूर्व परीक्षा पास होतात फक्त तेच मुख्य परीक्षेसाठी पात्र असतात. यूपीएससी पूर्व परीक्षा मध्ये पास होण्यासाठी 33% गुण पडणे आवश्यक असते. या परीक्षेचे मार्क्स फक्त मुख्य परीक्षेच्या पात्रतेसाठी वापरले जातात. उमेदवारांना पद देताना हे मार्क्स ग्राह्य धरले जात नाहीत.

यूपीएससी पूर्व परीक्षा स्वरूप खालीलप्रमाणे-

2) यूपीएससी मुख्य परीक्षा (UPSC Mains Exam Pattern)

    जे उमेदवार पूर्व परीक्षा पास झालेले आहेत त्यांचीच मुख्य परीक्षा घेतली जाते. या परीक्षेचे मार्क्स हे पद देताना ग्राह्य धरले जातात. मुख्य परीक्षेचे मार्क्स पाहून मुलाखत साठी निवड केली जाते.

यूपीएससी मुख्य परीक्षा स्वरूप खालीलप्रमाणे-

मुख्य परीक्षेमधील Paper A आणि Paper B चे मार्क्स Selection साठी धरले जात नाहीत, परंतु मुलाखत साठी पात्र होण्यासाठी या Paper A आणि Paper B मध्ये पास होणे आवश्यक असते.

3) यूपीएससी मुलाखत (UPSC Interview Pattern)

    यूपीएससी परिक्षेमधील सर्वात शेवटचा टप्पा हा Interview चा असतो. यूपीएससी मुलाखत ही 275 मार्काची असते. यूपीएससी मुख्य परीक्षा पास होऊन आलेल्यांची मुलाखत घेतली जाते, व 275 पैकी जेवढे मार्क्स पडतील तेवढे दिले जातात.

    मुलाखत चे 275 मार्क्स व मुख्य परीक्षेचे 1750 मार्क्स मिळून 2025 मार्क्स ची संपूर्ण यूपीएससी परीक्षा असते. या 2025 मार्क्स ग्राह्य धरून उमेदवारांना पदे दिली जातात.उमेदवाराला या तीनही पायऱ्या पूर्ण कराव्या लागतात. उमेदवार जर कोणत्याही परीक्षेमध्ये नापास झाला तर त्याला परत पहिल्यापासून म्हणजे पूर्व परिक्षेपासून सुरू करावे लागते.

UPSC Marathi Syllabus 2024

The UPSC Marathi syllabus in 2024 will assess aspirants on their proficiency in the language. The exam pattern will remain similar to previous years. Candidates will be tested on comprehension of Marathi passages, both long and short, covering diverse literary, scientific and social themes. Their knowledge of Marathi grammar, vocabulary, idioms and syntax will also be evaluated.

UPSC Marathi Syllabus 2024 Overview

Marathi, an Indo-Aryan language, is primarily used in Maharashtra. This rich literary heritage features as an optional UPSC subject across two papers evaluating proficiency in grammar, vocabulary, comprehension and analysis of diverse Marathi texts. Candidates well-versed in reading, writing and speaking Marathi should consider opting for it.

Marathi Literature Syllabus for UPSC CSE 2024

The UPSC Marathi literature syllabus covers grammar, linguistic history and dialects. Distinctively, it also evaluates general linguistics concepts including language functions and dialect development factors. Additionally, literary criticism of seminal Marathi texts and analysis of prose and poetry is assessed across the two papers.

Marathi Optional Syllabus for IAS Mains

The UPSC Marathi Literature syllabus consists of the grammar of the Marathi language, its history and dialects. UPSC Mains Question Papers 2023

The UPSC Mains 2023 commenced on 15th September 2023 with the Essay Paper. The IAS Mains 2023 will conclude on 24th September 2023 with the optional papers. The UPSC Mains is the second step in the entire civil services exam process. Candidates who clear the mains exam will be called for the final leg of the exam, that is, the UPSC Personality Test or interview which will be held in January – March 2024.

The UPSC mains exam consists of nine papers namely, the Essay Paper, four General Studies papers (GS-1, 2, 3 & 4), two optional papers, the English language paper and one Indian language paper. In the below table, we give you the schedule of the UPSC Mains 2023 exam.

The English and the language papers are of a qualifying nature while the remaining papers are counted for merit ranking.

UPSC Mains Essay Question Paper PDF

• The UPSC Essay paper segment consists of two sections A and B.
• Both sections have about four questions each.
• The candidates have to choose one topic from each section, thus having to answer 2 essay questions in total.
• The word limit for each question is to be within the range of 1000-1200 words.
• The marks for each question is 125, thus the total allotted marks are 250.
• The paper  will be included for merit ranking  and is not just for qualifying purposes.

The candidates are expected to keep close to the subject of the essay to arrange their ideas in an orderly fashion and to write concisely.

UPSC Syllabus 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the Civil Service Examination (CSE), which is the most prestigious examination in the country. Every year, lakhs of candidates fill out the application form to compete for approximately a thousand posts. UPSC CSAT Syllabus 2024 :  The UPSC prelims exam comprises two objective papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2, with Paper 2 being the Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT). The focus area of the CSAT syllabus is comprehension, Logical Reasoning and Analytical Ability, General Mental Ability, Basic Numeracy, Data Interpretation, etc. To pass Paper 2, candidates need to score at least 33%. 

The CSAT paper was introduced in 2011 and is an essential part of the UPSC preliminary exam. It is mandatory to score minimum qualifying marks to be eligible for the main examination.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will soon release the admit cards for the Civil Services (preliminary) examination, scheduled to be held on June 16. Earlier, it was set for May 26. Registered students can obtain their hall tickets from the official UPSC website, upsc.gov.in , once they are available. Earlier trends show that the admit cards are usually issued approximately 10 days before the exam.

UPSC Prelims Admit Card 2024: Steps To Download

• Visit the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.
• Find and access the 'What's New' section located on the homepage.
• Select the link titled 'e-Admit Card: Civil Services Examination, 2024'.
• Input your login details and proceed by clicking the submission button.
• Your admit card will be displayed on the screen.

UPSC CSE Prelims 2024 Exam Pattern

The UPSC civil services preliminary exam consists of two papers containing objective-type questions, for 400 marks. 

The exam will take place in two sessions: the General Studies (GS) Paper in the first session from 9.30am to 11.30am, and the Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) in the second session from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.

This serves as a screening test to determine candidates for the UPSC CSE Mains 2024 examination. 

Following the preliminary exam, the commission will release a list of candidates eligible for the Main exam, requiring a minimum qualifying score of 33%.

According to the official notification, approximately 1,056 vacancies in various central government services and departments, including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Foreign Service (IFS), are to be filled through this examination. This recruitment drive also reserves 40 vacancies for Persons with Benchmark Disability Category.
