• For admission in UG, the university organizes direct admission.
• To get admission in PG courses the candidates need to attend an entrance test conducted by the university.
• Candidates have to appear in MHT-CET so as to seek admission in B.Tech.
• Candidates seeking admission in MBA and MCA, need to secure a good score in the entrance exam, MAH-MBA-CET, and MAH-MCA-CET respectively.
• Scores in the CET exam are needed to be eligible for admission in M.Tech and M.Sc courses.
• For admission in Ph.D. and M.Phil programs, the marks obtained in the PG program will be considered to make the selection.

BAMU Admission Highlights 2024

BAMU B.Tech Admission 2024

The college offers, Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) course focusing on the area of Technology at the UG level. The program comprises two different specializations, such as Pharmaceuticals & Fine Chemicals Technology and Food Technology with a duration of three years. The university also accepts lateral entry in both of the specializations.

The candidates seeking admission in the B.Tech program, are required to appear MHT-CET entrance, authorized and conducted by the Government of Maharashtra. The applicants are selected by the obtained marks, secured in MHT-CET. Admission in B.Tech (Lateral) is done on the basis of marks scored in Diploma in relevant discipline. There is no age bar to apply for MHT-CET

BAMU UG Admission 2024

The BAMU provides UG courses emphasizing a number of areas, which includes arts, science, computer, journalism, etc. Most of the programs allow multiple specializations, provided by the university. The duration of all of the programs in three years, except Bachelor of Dramatics, B.Sc, and B.Ed. The duration period for B.Sc and B.Ed is two years, while the Bachelor of Dramatics takes one year to fulfill the duration period.

The university leads a direct admission process for the candidates seeking admission for all the UG programs, apart from Bachelor in Vocational (B.VOC.). Applicants looking for admission in the B.Voc program need to attend Common Entrance Test (CET).

BAMU MBA and MCA Admission 2024

At the postgraduate level, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University offers a Master of Business Administration (MBA), MBA (Evening), and Master of Computer Applications (MCA). The duration period for MBA is two years, and for MBA (Evening) and MCA is three years each. The intake capacity for each of the courses is 60 seats.

In order to seek admission in the above-mentioned courses, candidates must have studied and passed a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline. However, admission in MBA and MBA (Evening) is done on the basis of marks scored in Maharashtra MBA Common Entrance Test (MAH-MBA-CET) conducted by DTE, Maharashtra.

Candidates seeking admission in MCA will have to appear in Maharashtra MCA Common Entrance Test (MAH-MCA-CET) conducted by DTE, Maharashtra.

Relaxation of 5% marks, in comparison to 50% for GENERAL category candidates, is given to backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only

BAMU M.Tech and M.Sc Admission 2024

Students who want to pursue their career in the field of Engineering and Science can opt for M.Tech and M.Sc courses as offered by the university. The duration period for each of the courses is two years and the number of seats depends upon the nature of specializations taken up by the candidates.

Admission in both the courses is done on the basis of marks scored in the Common Entrance Test conducted by the university. However, the candidates need to pass in a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline in order to meet the eligibility criteria. Relaxation of 5% marks is given to reserved category candidates in comparison to 45% marks required for open category candidates

BAMU PG Admission 2024

At the PG level, BAMU offers a huge number of courses focusing on the area of arts, law, education, commerce, etc. Apart from LLM, M.Ed, and PG Diploma, all the PG courses take one year for the completion of the courses.  LLM and M.Ed hold two years of duration period while PG Diploma is a course of one year.

Candidates possessing a minimum of 55% of marks in the relevant discipline are considered to be eligible for admission in the above-mentioned courses. The number of seats available for admission depends upon the nature of specializations opted by the candidates.

BAMU Ph.D. Admission 2024

Apart from other courses, two research-based courses M.Phil and Ph.D. are offered by BAMU. Both of the courses are offered in various specializations. Candidates should hold a Post-graduation degree in a relevant discipline to apply for the admission in Ph.D. and M.Phil degree. The university makes the final selection as per the marks scored in the entrance exam, conducted by the university.

• Application form processing fees is to be paid through online system only by Internet Payment, Credit Card/ Debit Card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets
• Application fees for Open Category Candidates from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), J & K Migrant candidates and NRI/Foreign Nationals / PIO/Children of Indian Workers in the Gulf Countries Candidates is Rs 1000
• Application fees for candidates of Backward Class Categories [SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC] and Persons with Disability Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only is Rs 800

Ans.  Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University offers the following scholarships and financial aids to deserving students:

• Post Matric Scholarship:  This is offered to students belonging to Minority communities like Muslim, Parsi, Sikh, Buddha, Christian studying in the university.
• Govt. of India Scholarship:  The government provides scholarships to students belonging to reserved categories. To apply, the student must submit an application to the Post-graduate section of the university.
• Eklavya Scholarship:  This scholarship is given to students securing 60% marks in Degree exam in Arts faculty and 70% marks in science degree. 
• University Merit Scholarship:  The students securing 1st and 2nd rank as per the merit in each subject after the completion of the admission procedure.

YB Chavan College of Pharmacy, worth for money

• College infrastructure is very nice. All classroom are well maintained with digital boards and projectors.
• College campus is full of greenery and seating arrangements. Campus have digital library which has more than 6000 books and easily available to all students. Library has syllabus books as well as novels, journal's and daily newspaper.
• Canteen food is ok ok. If you want tasty food you have different hotels near campus.
• College hostel building is very old, new building work is on its way.

You can apply for B. pharm course once you completed your HSC. For the admission at YB chavan college, students has to appear for MHT-CET follwed by CAP rounds. Reservation benefits are also available based on category. Exams are conducted semester wise and some tests for practice are conducted monthly. Two sessional exams are conducted in every semester which contributes for internal marks.

• The faculty is supportive and knowledgeable

• The teachers sometime do not listen to the students at all

The admission was based on the score of MHT-CET exam conducted by the Maharashtra State govt. The cut off is based on category, like the general, OBC, SC, ST, etc. The exam is conducted once every year in the month of either May or June.

M.Phil & Ph.D.(Education)

Course structure, m. phil. (education), m.phil. : 20 students.

The degree of M. Phil. shall be conferred on a candidate who has satisfied the following conditions: The candidate must have taken M. Ed. Degree with at least 55% marks and 50% for the reserve category. Candidates of this University or of any other statutory University where the grading system is prevalent he should have passed the degree in equivalent cumulative Grade Point Average.

Eligibility:

• Master of Education (M.Ed.) Post Graduate degree from recognised university.
• Qualifying degree percentage: Minimum 55% for open and 50% for reserved category or equivalent grade.
