Im a first year college student and this app is very helpful when it comes to organizing my school work. It allows you to add your classes and homework assignments and even allows you to set a reminder to make sure things are done on time and shows you all your completed work.

What’s It About?

With MYHOMEWORK STUDENT PLANNER, kids in elementary school through college have a free way to keep track of any assignments they need to complete. Tasks are organized by individual class or specific calendar date, and kids can set recurring activities to repeat. Parents and teachers can customize settings to organize assignments by individual period or block-based schedules. When setting up assignments, kids can prioritize them and view them as complete, late, and upcoming. Kids can also set reminders. A built-in rewards system provides incentives to kids who complete their work and consistently add new assignments to their planner through a service called Kiip, though parents will need to enter an email address to use it. Users can upgrade to a premium account by paying an annual fee, which eliminates ads, offers customizable themes, and allows documents to be uploaded to classes and specific homework assignments.

This free education homework planner is an excellent way to teach kids at an early age how to organize and keep track of homework and assignment due dates, all on their own. Many kids have trouble keeping track of a traditional assignment notebook. Even though the myHomework app is designed for student use, teachers do have the option of sharing class and assignment details with students via a companion app called Teachers.io . Even without the use of the companion app, teachers can still encourage students to interact with their myHomework account as much as possible to create a habit; the more details that are poured into the app, the more useful it will become. By utilizing the reminder and due date features, students will learn valuable time-management skills they will need in other areas of their lives.

myHomework Student Planner helps students stay organized amid busy class schedules. Students can sign up using a username and password or via a Google or Facebook account and then manually add each of their classes. After classes have been created, students can add any other details to their calendars, including assignments, projects, and test dates. Reminders also can be set for any upcoming due dates. Ads exist in the free version, and teachers should be aware of a third-party rewards system (that can be turned off).

If a student's teachers are using the companion app, Teachers.io , students can bypass entering class information manually and receive announcements from their teachers. If teachers do not have a profile in Teachers.io, then students will have to import each class one at a time.

If mobile organizational features are not already built into a student's LMS at school, myHomework Student Planner has the potential to be very useful, and with the ability to synch among devices, a student's calendar can follow them wherever they go. If used consistently, juggling multiple classes with multiple assignments and due dates should be no problem for students. The quick and easy monitoring of assignments and other projects shows students that staying organized isn't as hard as it may seem.  

Without using Teachers.io , manually adding classes and assignments can become tedious, and schools and districts will need to determine if the pop-up ads and third-party rewards system are appropriate for students. More accessibility options for students or a badging system to encourage regular use would improve myHomework's viability as a long-term scheduling solution. Paired with Teachers.io, organizational skills can be sharpened when using this app; without consistent use and support from a teacher, students may just go back to paper agendas -- or nothing at all.

Productivity is the main focus of myHomework Student Planner. While this tool doesn't lend itself to one particular subject, it does help students to be more organized in all areas -- if used consistently.

Beyond initial text descriptions and a FAQ, there really isn't much support for students. Video tutorials and accessibility features would go a long way to making the tool easier for students to develop organizational habits.

I have always been the type of person to get way overly stressed when I have a lot of assignments due so having a place to write out all my homework and come up with a game plan has been insanely helpful.

I'm a college student now, but these homework planner printables would work amazing for any grade level!

Every student learns differently (um even my sister and I have MAJORLY different studying approaches haha) so I included 3 different printables that you can choose from! 

I usually will start off with using the page on the far right in the image below and brain dump everything I have to get done. I will then take it to the Weekly Homework Tracker and write in which days I am doing everything.

Finally, I use the page on the far left below as a daily schedule and time-block when I do everything!

It's the best and makes me feel a million times more organized!

Nice app but a change.

It's the best app for organising your homework. It has a user friendly interface & I use it a lot. But, it would be nice if developers give an option to end 'repeat' on the day of submission. Like I want to have daily repeats until the submission date but it shows you can't. It would be even better if the 'repeat' end date automatically comes to be the submission date or the next period day of a subject (ON FIRST BUT THEN CHANGEABLE). I hope my request is understandable and developers will look forward to it. I'll definitely give 5 stars as this change happens.

Looked pretty but it ate my homework (literally)

So I started using the app yesterday and the interface was good. I liked how it would display something both on the calendar and then in another section called “Homework”. So I was planning to start a Study marathon on February as I intend to end syllabus by March. I set up a routine for the first week of February. Arranged the subjects priority wise, marked the time when I would start which topic, it was beautiful and I was satisfied. Today I woke up to see only the schedule for February 1st remains in the calendar and the rest has been completely removed from the app’s memory. I swear I made the entire schedule since I also sent a screenshot and a recommendation to my sister about this app. I am greatly disappointed.

The myHomework app is very useful and helpful. It's certainly does help me remember that I've got homework or projects to hand in but I'm only giving it 4 stars because sometimes if you are not careful about how or when you want to be reminded of your homework then sometimes you don't get notified that you have homework due. So you have to be careful around that bit but otherwise it's great!
