VURJ: Vanderbilt Undergraduate Research Journal

Offered online as an e-journal, the new issue of the VURJ features 11 articles highlighting research from several disciplines and areas of campus: the natural sciences, social sciences, humanities, political sciences and education, with many papers combining methods of study from different fields. Articles were peer-reviewed and edited by a team of 57 undergraduates who were supervised, trained and mentored by 20 graduate students and postdoctoral researchers. The articles were then copy-edited and put into layout design by six undergraduates.

The VURJ worked closely with the Jean and Alexander Heard Libraries , Dr. Ruth Kleinpell in the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing , Director of the Office of Immersion Resources Carolyn Floyd and The Writing Studio . The VURJ  editorial team will open the submission cycle again in fall 2021.

Visit the VURJ website to access the issue, effective noon on April 30. To learn more about the journal and how to get involved as an author or a board member, contact the VURJ .
