Resumehelp.com charged our account $25.00 a month for 18 months when we cancelled the services after 3 months. The customer service was unwilling to listen to the situation and work with us. I HIGHLY recommend using a different company with a reputable service. I ABSOLUTELY think they are aware of accounts not being used and continue to charge them after the free amount of time.

They would do anything just to not let you know that they've been secretly charging your account. Without email or forewarning. The term that you'll be charge $25 after the 14day trial was deliberately put in small letters under the term so that you won't notice it. This site is a SCAM and a very clever scheme. Nice one capitalists u win this time, hope u choke on all ur blood money. I wouldn't have known if I didn't check my bank account.

No pricing is shown until you try to download or review/edit your resume. It is not even clear that I was using ResumeHelp, since I unknowingly entered the site through Indeed. When I called the help number (took me 10 minutes to find one), the agent argued with me that I wasn't speaking to Indeed (didn't think I was). When I got fed up, I asked to have my 14-day user account cancelled at once, because this screen was the first information that I would be charged $24/month once the 14-day period expired. Instead of cancelling my account, the agent signed me up for another $3 offer... for what? When I called to follow up, the new agent told me that the first agent had "put in the notes" that she gave me other offers and I "chose" the one that was charged today. Reporting to my credit card company and to the state attorney general's office on a fraud complaint form.

Tip for consumers: You can't see what they are going to charge you for, so don't spend a lot of time working on your resume before saving it so you can see the associated fees.

Was anyone able to get their money back can you report them to your bank for a refund for unauthorised charges.

They will give the absolute run around. I had them tell me they had no re it's of me being a customer, even with my account details. I ended up going trough the Better Business Bureau. BBB managed to recover 65% of the money stolen from my account. The resume help swindlers refused to refund everything they had stolen. That's how they make their money after all.

I only want to use this one time. i really don't want to sign up for it?

They will not refund you the trial fee if you ask for a refund and they will not stop billing you . Resume help is a scam, don’t use them, unless you want to be billed without permission forever . They contacted me and still have not refunded me , this company is a big fraud

Surprise fee and mixing up work

After completing my resume it would not let me download it unless I paid , which was not clear in the beginning and a surprise fee after doing all that work was very annoying. Not only that but AFTER I PAID I downloaded my resume I saw that everything was messed up, some jobs were completely deleted, the wrong title was with the wrong job everything that wasn't deleted was a jumbled up mess that I had to fix. I am extremely upset. I paid for this service and got 1 resume’, I cancelled my service and this company has continually taken 24.90 out if my account for months. This month they deducted twice. When I called to get this taken care of, they tell me they cant find me. They can find me to take my money. I was told they would call me within 24 hours and I have yet to here from them. I am a woman caring for a sick husband. I can not afford this continual deduction out if my account. I have one income. This is an awful company.

I used this service 6 months ago to make a resume, and now they billed me 24.99 to my account without authorization. I never signed up for a subscription I only paid for the resume when I made it. I tried to solve this in customer service and they kept sending me the same message saying “your ticket has been solved” but it was never solved.

Paid for my original resume and read the terms and agreements and I have yet to find anything that talks about getting charged more If it was there in plain sight I wouldn’t have used it. I got charged and they would only give me 40$ back. The guy on the phone was VERY rude and yelled at me and refused to give me my money back. I will not recommend them nor will I EVER use them again. They hide behind their fine print. Their customer service was rude and nasty.

I could have easily written my own resume with what little help I got from this and what a rip off – I just cancelled and the guy chatting with me kept trying to send me lectures about the fees etc – I told him please just cancel it and he was very intent on getting me to sign up for more fees – NO thanks!

I even don’t know what to say, I’m still looking for a job. Resume Help didn’t provide with a high-quality paper. Sorry, bad score!

I used the live chat feature of the website to talk to someone about getting a refund, as I used the service once and did not cancel in time. When chatting with a specialist it seemed very scripted and that they only wanted to give me a refund if I signed up for a different service. After declining several times and blatantly asking the agent to stop trying to sell me things, a waste of about 15 minutes of my time, I was finally able to find a solution to my problem. The resume was rather okay and the service was awful. I’m thoroughly annoyed with Resumehelp.

I called and canceled my subscription with the 14 day trial. They still charged my account for the subscription. Called in again and cs rep basically called me a liar and told me she couldn’t transfer my call too anyone else. I made it very clear i wanted to cancel my account again and request a refund.

some formatting issues with spacing, as well as start and stop sentence spacing is not easy to manipulate to perfect the resume. Some editing features from MS Word or being able to save as a Word document outside of the .pdf file would be nice.

I called to cancel the membership as I had found a job and did not want to pay $39.50 per month. The intro price of $2.90 was more affordable. You're representative explained that she could cancel my membership, credit the $39.50 back to me and then reinstate my monthly fee at $4.00/month. That made me very happy as I still wanted to fine tune my resume.

Generally this website serves good it's purpose, but I dont like the fact you have to pay beside of a monthly fee additionaly for every downloaded CV. That is a reason why I left ResumeHelp.io. There are plenty of other websites where you have to pay /month and you can modify you CV as often as you like.
