UP D.El.Ed Semester Question Paper 2023

The Uttar Pradesh State Board of Basic Education (UPBEB) conducts the D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) course every year. The course is a gateway for aspiring teachers to get into government schools in Uttar Pradesh. The course is divided into four semesters, and each semester has a final exam.

Study material for NIOS D.El.Ed 2-year course can be downloaded in PDF formate through online devlibrary.in NIOS has made available study material for the D.El.Ed examinations conducted in 2 years. Since the first year examination of D.El.Ed is begin on 27th may. Therefore, the concerned person who is going to participate in the first semester, download the study material timely and prepare the first year according to the study materials available by NIOS.

2. For the 1st year, 1st semester, the D.EL. Ed Course Module 501, 502 and 503 have been set by NIOS. Similarly, for the 1st year, 2nd semester is set to course module 504 and 506. Course module 506 and Course Model 507 for D.El.Ed 2nd year, 3rd semester has been set. While the course module for the 2nd year 4th semester has been set 508, 509 and 510.

3. D.El.Ed semester examination will be conducted on the basis of this course model. The candidate who fails in any subject of any semester can do the examination of that subject in the forthcoming semester. Candidates, who will successfully complete all semester exams, the will be given Certificate of D.El.Ed 2 year diploma course.

DElEd or Diploma in Elementary Education is a 2-year diploma course for primary teachers’ training. It will provide you with training for teaching in primary or upper primary schools. It is a 4-semester course that requires you to appear for CTET or state-level TET exams for admissions. 

To study the DElEd course, you must meet the basic eligibility parameters. A few of the requirements include 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. DElEd NIOS is also an option if you are an untrained teacher working in different parts of the country. The Syllabus for this course focuses on the educational requirements and child psychology and the process of learning, reading, and writing. 

This course is offered in Full-time and Distance mode. The DElEd Admission is conducted based on the DElEd entrance exams and merit list. Each state conducts a different entrance exam to offer the Diploma in Elementary Education course. The average fee to pursue DElEd is INR 5,000 – 80,000, and you can get a job with a starting salary of INR 2.5 LPA. DElEd graduates are primarily employed as school teachers in Nursery Schools, Kindergarten Schools, and Montessori Schools. Besides this, you can also pursue higher studies such as B.Ed or M.Ed.

DElEd full form is a Diploma in Elementary Education and it is a diploma course for 2 years. Students who completed their 10+2 can pursue this course. This course will prepare you to teach students at the primary school level. • School Teacher:  You can teach children from Class 1 to 5 and from Class 6 to 8 in government and private schools.

• If you belong to the reserved and physically handicapped category, you can avail a relaxation of 5%.
• Candidates need to be under 35 years of age during application. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH are offered a relaxation of 5 Years.

• The admission processes are organized by the respective boards and organizations of the different states. Notifications are released on the official websites of the concerned departments.

NIOS DElEd program is developed by the Academic Department, NIOS on the initiative of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India, keeping in view the NCF 2005 (National Curriculum Framework), RTE 2009 (Right to Education), and NCFTE 2010 (National Curriculum Framework for Teacher Education) act.

How do I get into NIOS DElEd?

The eligibility criteria for  NIOS DElEd  are similar to those of the requirements of the regular DElEd course. The only difference is that the degree would be considered valid only for in-service primary teachers. The NIOS DElEd admission is done through a DElEd online application, and after successfully clearing the entrance exams.

The admission procedure is stated below:

• Visit the official website of NIOS.
• Click on the apply link and make online registration.
• The applicant must mention personal details such as name, parent’s name, address, gender, date of birth, etc in the DElEd online form.
• Upload the scanned photograph, signature, and the other required documents mentioned on the online application form.
• Click on the register button, after which the registration number and login details will be sent to the registered email ID.
• Pay the application fees, ie. INR 250 either online or through offline mode.
• Download the NIOS DElEd online form for future reference.

It is important to note that you can download their NIOS DElEd Hall Ticket/Admit Card a week before the exam from the official NIOS Portal. What is the Eligibility for DElEd in NIOS?

The qualification criteria for the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) are given below:

• The applicant who is going to apply for NIOS DElEd 2024 admission must possess stated qualification from a well-recognized institute or university with good academic records
• The applicant must be a citizen of India.
• Untrained Teachers working at the Upper Primary level from class 5th to 9th must have a B.A./B. Sc. Qualification. Respective State sponsorship is mandatory.

Distance DElEd courses are for students who want knowledge and training about student teaching at the primary level, without physically attending college. A few colleges provide distance DElEd programs. To apply for the course, you should have passed their 10+2 Board examination with at least a 50% aggregate score.

How can I get Distance DElEd Admission in 2024?

Colleges such as SCERT offer distance DElEd courses. Admission to these courses is based on the merit list. Students should note that DElEd IGNOU has now been suspended (since 2019).

The internship opportunity is provided by SCERT for each student where college choose and make some groups of students after that they allot a primary School where the students ganna teach for next 2-3 month as a Full time Teachers. In that time we have to do many works like we have to submit different types of reports about the environment of the school, environment of the classes , we have to organize some plays and events like a normal full time Teacher. Also we have to identify problems which students are facing in school,life, learning, health,etc. We organize parents teacher meeting where we interact with parents or suggest them many things about child. And this is an unpaid internship.

in last semester students are eligible to appear in placements, TATA CONSULTANCY recently visited in our college average is 1,43000 and i am not aware about maximum whoever got in mostly appear for other colleges fir engineering, 70-80% of students got placed and left select other options of study, i ma planning fir Engineering after my diploma .

I choose this course because i am interested in teaching and it's a teaching course where you will apply for the primary classes students 1st to 5th for both private or public sector. I chose this course due to my parent's pressure, to be honest, because I come from a family where we are mostly supposed to get educated and move further in the education field only. The faculty is pretty nice and the students to the teacher ratio are also good, no issues regarding that. Faculty is well versed in their subjects and the teaching method is also really simple. The term exams are once a year. it was a 2-year exam so, it was like 2 times for 2 years. The exams are pretty simple and anyone can score good marks if he is studying regularly.

When I did the course it was like 35,000 for a year and 70,000 for the whole course. The cost of the study is pretty affordable. There are internship opportunities for about 3 times during the whole course. The first internship period is for around 28 days in the first year. The second and third internships are for about 1 month and 14 days each in the second year. All the mentioned internships are in government schools themselves where you need to go and practice teaching. You don't get any stipend for these internships.

Campus life is so good. There is no fest organized in college. But you have to do lots of curriculum activities. All the students of the Education Department are divided into many houses. So there is the interaction between students of different courses. Like Bed General, Bed Nursery, Bed Special Education, and and Diploma in Elementary Education. There is no placement by the college. Only tp that is teaching practice is held because of regular Norma by the government. After getting a degree you are required to give exams for teacher like htet ctet hptet MPTET etc. You can apply for prt if you have cleared 12.

I chose this course because I thought that becoming a teacher is a very good profession as there are many people who can't afford to study so I think maybe I can help them with education. As we talk about student ratio girls are more than boys like 9:1or9:2 as most girls are in this field than boys as you had seen in your schools. But now the time has changed boys are also there in government schools. If we talk about the qualification of faculty then they all have done Ph.D. in their specific subject, plus masters and their teaching exams. The teaching method was also good as they teach us practically which will help us to be good teachers with good ethics. The exams are yearly (externals) and the internals is based on the assignment school evaluation program workshops etc.

Actually, there is no fest In diet but instead of that, they have workshops which are related to dance, culture, art, drama, etc all over the year which is very rare and good. But yeah there is strictness in diet's as there are many people who break the rules. the library is well-maintained and contains all the books one needs so that we don't have to buy from outside. Some colleges have very good physical activities which are essential for us.
